Great dyno vlog with the starlet and Honda engine. No dyno graphs but I saw at the end that there were mechanical issues and owner requested that the numbers to be withheld until next visit.
had the honor of hearing this thing unleash last time i was at ironshore. was never expecting this under the bonnet

How hard is it to put new engines in newer cars? I have a 2018 Hyundai Kona limited 1.6T and I love the body. Its such a sharp looking car. I can’t decide if I should spend my money on new car (looking at a early 2000s IS300) or if I should look into doing something with my current car.
My suggestion is, if you build it? You’ll love it more to know that you created that project car. ( more love would be applied)
Not putting any more pressure on the tuner, but it all comes down to the tuner, & the young youth said it Mazda.

That look like some hr15 coil what coil him a use ?
Interviewer needs to relax abit and let the owner talk instead of cutting him off so much a lot of the info was lost because of that otherwise good vlog

Just to clarify the statement regarding creating history.
No Honda D series has ever made over 700 HP in Jamaica
If this built had made 700 HP it would be a great accomplishment and a first in Jamaica

Please note, this Starlet with this same engine made over 500 HP in the past. During this video while the car was on the Dyno, the car developed mechanical problems.
The owner of the car REQUESTED that we did not reveal the numbers until the car is taken back to the Dyno.
Sincere apologies, but we must respect his decision.

@@garfieldgrant9910 Stock length rods and vitara pistons= 7.69:1 compression
7.69:1 compression with a turbo large enough to flow 500 (WHP?) is going to be extremely laggy and would require a ridiculous amount of psi and cfm to reach this goal with an extremely inefficient 7.7 compression ratio and may only have a power band from 6000 rpms to rev limit. You failed to mention anything about cam specs, head porting or valvetrain ect that would allow you to flow the kind of cfm to reach this power goal and the rpm limit it would need to have anything resembling a powerban I need to see more information on supporting mods to reach this 500 internet horsepower goal of yours:
fuel used (c16, e85, 93, 100 etc?)
head/port work
valves (stock or oversize)
cam
valve springs/retainers
injector size
fuel pump
intake manifold (stock, edelbrock or golden eagle)
im claiming BS
It seems like the turbo is to big for the old single dingle
