  • This video covers a handful of the benefits of stinging nettle for hair growth and reducing hair loss. Nettle has the capacity to block Dihydrotestosterone which is the hormone responsible for male and female pattern balding. Nettle is also packed with silica and sulfur both of which promote the growth of stronger, shinier, healthy hair. I've shared a super simple yet effective way to incorporate nettle into your hair care routine. Try it out and leave a comment sharing your result!

    I was taking wild reishi for sleep benefits and started noticing new hair growth on my bald head. While researching this I came across nettle benefits and added that to a scalp treatment. I'm using a dual extract from the leaf. I really haven't noticed increased growth. Maybe the alcohol in the extract? 6 months now. Maybe try the hwe shown here.

    Your hairs look incredibly amazing.
    In my case, I use water between 50 and 70° to make the mixture. I heard that's the best to extract vitamins without destroy them :)

    • @RunninUpThatHillh
      @RunninUpThatHillh ปีที่แล้ว

      You must break the cell wall ("cook": by heating, freezing, drying, etc) to extract anything at all. Its true you lose nutrients when you boil some veg food, but it's because you toss the water. It's the whole point of tea, decoctions and infusions: rolling boil the water, pour over dry nettle. Wait at least four hours. Don't forget minerals can't be destroyed either (hence finding dinosaur bones)

    Nettle also has a ton of Iron in it. so if your hair loss is due to an Iron deficiency you can get to the "root" of the problem with nettle tea. Pun intended, of course.
    This is what's going on for me. I'm gonna mix it with Jamaican Black Castor Oil & leave it in I think. I'm not sure. It depends on how oily it turns out. haha
