The Black and Blue tour Denver. Don't know what happened speculation was Bill Ward had heart trouble . Don't know for sure but Sabbath didn't play. The Oyster boys played for 3 hours that night and the last 30 minutes was Doors songs. These guys are total professionals and we are blessed to have them.
The first time I saw BOC, they were on tour with Foghat at Madison Square Garden in NYC. It was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen, and I've been to a lot of shows. The best part was when they did Godzilla. and a mechanical head with glowing red eyes rose from the back of the stage. The crowd lost it. Those, indeed, were the days...
Twice in the 70s Dominance and submission Roadhouse blues Mom saw them early I saw them 2 times Pat Travers lead Then my kids hit the knitting factory 3 generations can I get a witness Some kinda brown eyed girl
I believe this is taken from the Black & Blue film circa 1980 ??? I have the VHS video somewhere so I'll have to dig it out to be 100% sure .. Ronnie James Dio on vocals for Sabs ... but it's really all about America's finest heavy rock band at the end of the day .
Whenever I saw them at small clubs in the Bay Area as Soft White Underbelly I somehow got backstage. They were cool and friendly- unusual for New Yorkers
BOC killed it... coming from a huge doors fan...
Eric Bloom always reminded me of Jeff Lynne. Blue Oyster Cult is Fantastic !! 👍🎸
