Nice to finally meet you there at Barber on Friday Dave! 👍Was nice to talk Yankees/ Ossas and TDRs with you. Best to you in your continued recovery and if you are up my way in Macon, 👉give a shout out. 😎
The blue motorcycle at the 17ish minute mark is a Russian 350cc IZH. The Soviets captured the DKW factory in Eastern Germany in 1945and shipped everything over to the Russian city of Izhevsk where they started copying DKW designs as IZH motorcycles. A copy of the DKW NZ 350. Regards Phil (IZH owner)
Great stuff, Dave! Lots of neat stuff.I loved those Vincents but I just picked up a 1950 Indian Chief Bonneville so my cash stash needs to be built up for the meet next year. I always learn from your videos. I hope the shop survives the hurricane. I can't wait for your next video!
Thanks again for another great video, I'm hoping to be there for Sunday the last day, The throw out bear went out in my clutch on my vehicle, Pulled it apart the last few days and hopefully we'll get it back together by tomorrow Friday, And drive it around for a day to make sure it holds up, And then on the road to Barbers, Glad you doing well and able to get out there and bring us these videos, So much to see I haven't even made it through half of the video yet, I also like how your favorite lines are ""someone needs those"", & ""Somebody needs that"", And you're not lying, Thanks, Pensacola,
Looking good Dave glad you’re doing well and back on the road. Hope everything is good at your shop. Some very cool bikes and very cool video thanks bud. You take care and safe travels.
i wish you well on the storm. man, i get so aintsee after watching your shows. it does help me to think forward. you see i have had four strokes. and want to do things again. would love to pick up trash on the beach. our beach wa.state. beaches. and i will will have to make something i can be low down. and can be ran with one hand. i'll figure it out. just wanted to thank you sir. you do keep people going.
I have a house in St. James City on Pine Island and had 4 ft. of water in my house from Ian. The only thing left that was any good was my two toilets. Helene put 4 in. of water in my house so I went down from Western NY to clean up and left Sunday evening before Milton hit and it put 14 in. of water in my house. I wish I would of seen this video before then because I would've tried the spray foam and Flex Seal spray. Thanks for the tip and hopefully I never have to try it.
I had a hard time getting those doors open, it might be better to board them, and use the flexseal/foam on the outside boards instead of the doors themselves. You'll see in an upcoming video
Lot of cool, old Japanese bikes. Not too much Harley stuffi I was a little disappointed in that I was misled to believe. There would be more Hurley stuff there.
Hey Dave, I would like to contact the guy with Sachs Air Shocks. I saw a box on the table with his name. You mentioned you had his number. Anyway you can share? I did see a name on a box of Scott McDonald in Man O War Florida....Please let me know. Hope your shop is fine. Thank you
when I watch yer videos they end way to soon because time passes fast when you're having fun. you walked right past that Kawasaki Bad Lackey lookin' 1973 style factory looking bike, parked next to the Harley MX race bike towards the end of the video. that Kawasaki looked "special". Twin Italian 350 80 miles red street Enduro perfect beautiful bike should be parked on top of an expensive carpet rug underneath a giant antique crystal chandelier. DO NOT TOUCH sign taped to it. place red velvet rope stands all around it. decline all offers to purchase.
