There is something wrong with that bike it should go better than that. I had a moped with a GY6 I put a big bore kit new ignition and clutch got 45 mph out of it.

I had a bultaco pursang 370- 75 model my favourite bike by far- loved that bike as a 14yr old.Wish i kept it.

I was like did I win something then I realized I'm not talented enough to to make a video comment. I was confused. I never heard of anybody with the same name as me except my Dad. Oh well better luck next time.

Thanks for the tip on FATE. i joined the Facebook group although waiting to be approved. This ride is about 4 1/2 hours north of me but I have a small toy hauler type trailer. Looked like a nice ride except being from the north the sand might be a little sketchy for awhile.

That’s a nice find. We had a Yamaha dealership for 27 years but sold it in 2022. We did see some cool old bikes and toured the Yamaha factory showroom in Japan where they had one of every bike they built from 1955. Yamaha is such a good company.

All that sand makes me appreciate high speed MN gravel!😁

I think you need a bigger exhaust not just a silencer if you look at the mid pipe it's very lean and hot I think it's holding too much heat in so good pipe silencer reject you'll get better fuel mileage and more power

You bloody beauty, back on the horse, great to see. I get a similar feeling on my WR because you sit so high they feel unstable. I've got no fuel gauge at all so don't complain and enjoy what you got, it seemed to go well.

You did great Dave. Question: why was that V-strom so sluggish in the deeper stuff, weight or perhaps the rider was just nervous. I own the same model and year KLR as you, would it be alright on this ride?

Looks like fun ,I dont think I myself wouldnt want to try 200 miles in sand on a new bike and back from foot surgery.Good for you ! Not very well mapped, or marked.Not sure why they dont wait to make sure everyone makes it back safe.

thankyou for a great video! its nice to learn about other bikes i didnt know about. bultacos were cool bikes back in the day!!!!! i do love the 60s bikes and i miss and loved my suzuki k10 80. ive been looking and unable to find another one. i bought mine in 73 seized due to nobody riding it for a long time which i found the reason was a snapped in half trans countershaft. i was 14 at the time and lucliky i had a great bro in law to help me fix it. the previous owner said it was a 68. now im finding out it could not have been because there was no oil injection on this bike which suzukis first year for oil injection was 1968 on the k10 and other k series bikes. would you possibly know of any of these bikes from 67 on back for sale? thanks buddy. cheers
