The .50 cal machine gun should be the rarest and most powerful gun in the game. If you’ve seen people using a Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle, just imagine that, but automatic. Seriously, that thing takes way too long to kill ghouls, it should be a 1 or 2 shot against them.

A friend and I found the ammo place on the first day of the beta, we we're both hoping not many other people would find it so we could have it all to ourselves uncontested
It's been great! My favorite workshop is now contested, as a raider I don't even have to work for my own ammo anymore! If I'm not in control of it, me and my raiders usually go hit it up and take it over after someone has built it up (I roleplay a raider, sorry not sorry, I also use a double barrel shotgun, an automatic pipe rifle, and a guitar sword, while wearing only raider/metal armor pieces)
Dont know what yall are complaining about just server hope until its unclaimed and sit on it. On top of that ammo is everywhere...... It has gotten to the point I dont even keep 90%$ of what I find.

A damaged hazmat suit spawns about 10 ft from the blaster. The event at the airport (Colllision Course?) can give you a legendary SMG. I think it may be level related, but you always get a weapon.
In case you didint know, hopping servers recharges fusion cores in your power armor. That’s how I managed to keep the same armor running for multiple days.
They said they will in the next weeks. They said the reason for the current capacity is for the game the game to be able to keep track of all of the items all at once
Dude just use your tinkers bench to make your scrap into bulk. Will save you a ton of space. Also get rid of any scrap you dont really need, concrete, glass, stuff like that.

@@garretteckhardt6665 It'll dismantle that specific bulk item that you need to use and give you back the rest of it as scrap. The only thing you lose is the plastic you needed to make it in the first place.
You can still server hop in order to xp farm, like training up a group of enemies and blowing up a car to kill them. You can go to the same place over and over and get thousands of xp per trip. You can farm cap stashes if you server hop as well. It’s still very easily exploited
@ssmallory18 like i wanted the ranger gear and it was already looted when i got there, so i left and rejoined and then it was there. So now its less likely for that to happen? Or will i have to fully quit the game and rejoin
For the 10mm SMG there’s a better version of it where you have to do a quest in the water park at the top of the map. Once you finish it you get a 10mm SMG called Perfect Storm and every bullet that connects with an enemy does a little bit of fire damage as well
As far as the 10mm SMG goes, if you do a quest for Anne (I think that was her name) at the water park at the top of the map (The quest is called Cold Case) you will receive a boosted version of it. I do not remember what it is called or what bonuses, but it's really pretty decent for a lower level weapon. Just thought I'd mention it. Enjoy. Nice video, By the way.
Completed the Cold Case mission from Miss Annie at Wavy Willards gave me a 10mm SMG that had an extra perk to it - +25 fire damage (Perfect Storm). It was like my rounds were on fire when I shot them. Shreds enemies rather quickly.
TNT dome key 2 is no longer in the locker. You actually have to do a mini quest for it now, same as with dome 2 key and dome 7. They’re all pretty simple and straightforward, but will cost you 200 plus caps to fast travel to all the locations, so it’s better to plan ahead and stop by the locations when you’re already there for something else.
I got my MG 42 by doing the power up event for the Mire Power plant. I did it all myself and at the end it it gave me a LV 25 MG. It does 10 damage and has almost 300 fire rate. It might get better the more big guns perks I acquire. Not sure if it’ll work to you guys but that’s how I got my mine. And it also uses .308 rounds as it’s ammunition.

Just going to point out the black powder rifle doesn’t have the longest reload, that award would go to “the Dragon” with a massive 12 second reload it is a four barreled black powder rifle, the one I have has a 200 damage output. Just wanted point that out.
Had a group of around 6 or so 50+ (I was 72 I think at the time) and even with Gauss Rifles and a few Double firing Gatlings, thousands of rounds, 50 stims, full power armors, and 20 radaway, it took us about 20-30 minutes to down the Queen. One major tip Id suggest is putting a camp slightly out of the blast zones, stock up on water since youll be doing ALOT of drugs, and try to fight her around the bunker with the weapons bench.
You can buy the blueprints for the black powder weapons and the weapons themselves at the gun store in Whitespring, the blueprints cost about 750 caps a piece and you need the exotic weapon crafting perk.
My biggest problem with FO76 is that you can't save. Many times when my game has crashed, or when I had to leave for work the progress the latest I had recently just accomplished just dissapeared which is aggravating. That's all though great vid

If you are on PC you can modify the autosave frequency from it's base, every 10 minutes. I have mine set to 2 minutes... If it actually works I'm not sure but I feel my resumes are much closer than before I changed it

Btw idk if anyone's mentioned it but here is a great tip that I've found really useful. If you find power armour that is too high level for you to use id recommend taking it off the frame, hopping into the empty frame then putting the armour back on the frame. It won't let you collect it with spacebar (or the console equivalent) but after two minutes it will automatically go back into your inventory so you can hold the armour easily as it reduces it to just the weight of the frame. I'm essentially sitting on a whole set of t60 with this method just waiting till I can be blessed with level 40 and I don't have to waste loads of space for weight.
That's not rare though the quest is very easy. and also there is no level for it whatever level you finish the quest at is the level you get the gun at.
I found the .50 Cal in the first spot long ago before the vid came out, but it also spawned for me as loot when I killed some scorch in the Ash Heap (don't ask where, i moved around their camps a lot for ammo grinding), thanks though for the other stuff, keep making great videos!
Btw when he was talking about the MG42, here’s a tip on how to get one: there’s a shack by Vault 94 where you can log into a terminal and start a quest called “Queen Of The Hunt” you’ll have to go to multiple locations to kill creatures but once you have a tissue sample from one of them, you can return to the shack and insert the tissue sample into a machine, 3/4 of my friends including me got the MG42 from the quest, good luck ; )
Juice you're gonna love the dragon. It's a four barrelled black powder rifle with a base damage of 800 but uses 4 rounds per fire. If you can get multiple that hotkey trick should be devastating to most enemies.
That building in Harpers Ferry that you walked into is called the John Brown Arsenal. Thats where he made his stand fighting for the freedom of the slaves back in the Civil War era. I used to go there a lot as a kid, I grew up in WV just near Harpers Ferry.

Love the "pirate-style multiple black powder pistol" idea. Though as I'm rifle-focused my go-to has been my Two Shot Vats Enhanced The Dragon, with Speed Demon taking the edge off of the massively long reload.
The Dragon black powder rifle. Its a quad barrelled black powder rifle that does upwards of 250 dmg. Ive found two around the top of the world both level 45. I think they may be bugged atm, i believe its supposed to fire 4 times before reloading. (1 shot from each barrel) It has the longest reload time of all the black powder rifles so i thought itd make sense. I only started to think it was bugged when I had switched to it and it actually had 4 shots in it at once. Cant confirm if its bugged or not working as intended.
I drank some vintage nuka shine and I spawned in the area with the reddish color trees with the wired above ground roots and it was the east side of the map I found the mg 42 on a random enemy
i usually like to take Grafton Steel Mill, Berkely Springs, and the Munitions Plant since all 3 have lead, 2 of them have aluminum, and Grafton has 2 steel. With all that you can get a steady materials supply to make ammo, especially if you're a heavy weapons build like me.
I ended up finding The Dragon at the Vender Bot in Harper's Ferry. Seems like just another one of those legendaries you have to buy. Think the price was about 600 caps
I found a black powder rife (and two laser rifles) down the Burning Mine. But I’m pretty sure it’s a random spawn. I thought the guitar sword was ridiculous when I first saw it, but I really like it now, and it makes a nice soothing sound when I slaughter my enemies. The location where you find it is really creepy.
Another spot I have found the Browning LMG 50. Cal is at the WhiteSprings area. I found a safe in dirt patch around the Snake on the map. The safe is partially buried into the dirt/ground.
The scorched is heavily hi resistance when it's in the blast zone, that's why people don't directly aim the fissure site And you can find the guitar sword and drum hammer in the public event called One Violent Night and the back of the barn with other instruments there both there

@@richardnixon855 I found blueprints from a merchant trader from one of the train stations, though I was at level 37 (I think). So its likely bound to high level players or its just a rare spawn/offer from the merchants. When I saw it being sold by a merchant, it was priced around 1,000 caps, despite having hard bargainer maxed and Charisma around 5/6 Tbh, your better of find one shown at the locations shown in the video, or if your lucky having a loot drop from a crate. Again, I was around a high level when I found two from crates that can be looted.
Idk if this will help or not but in the basement of the white springs golf course in this room to the left there is a counter and behind that there is a marksman sniper rifle every time
I don’t know if anyone has commented on this or not but the place in harpers ferry where you find some black powder weapons is the firehouse where John brown had his last stand
I once find a Minigun of level 35; I am currently level 22 so I mostly pretty close to used, even more close to the .50 Cal that you mention requires level 25 so I will be using it pretty soon. What I need are the plans to built a powerarmor station in my camp. I have found other powerarmor station in other location but it doesn't allow me to use them even If i had a Chasis with me
Deploy the armor inside the station then go to modify/repair, yeah?Anyway, you get the plans from the Ash Heap for doing the Excavator Armor quest. You need to be level 25 to craft the armor and complete the quest though.

i found a weapon in harpers farry, in the clinic of all places, not sure if it was just random or it spawns there multiple times never took the time to check. but i got a 4 barreled black powder rifle called "the dragon" and does it shreds health, but very slow reload. found it best to load it hit your high target to get his health almost half most times, and then take the rest with black powder pistols or some sort of rifle.
drayfon it works the same as the ripper I think as it doesn’t do much up front damage but it constantly attacks, or well that’s how it worked in new vegas
I actually went straight for the Alien Blaster once I reached level 20 and I'm holding on to it until I reach the right level. I'm also stocking up on Alien Blaster Rounds. I hated that I joined 76 two days before Invaders from Beyond ended. I really wanted those items from that season since I have a soft spot for the Zetans.
What are her defense values? That should be about 128 40mm Grenades from a leveled weapon when Demo. Expert is equipped, minus damage reduction for players not being level 95.
The scorchbeast queen gets harder the more people are there, and the higher level they are. I've seen some folks take her down with just 2-3 people, who then couldn't when there were more than a dozen people.
Lever action rifle is the rarest in game weapon, I've spent more than an hour trying to server hop and grind for it and ended up losing my camp, and half my weapons trying to get enough caps
I like to iron snipe with the black powder rifle when I’m on a rooftop with chameleon armour equipped, particularly on angled roofs I’m able to do 300 damage to someone due to a sneak bonus and just go behind the roof to go back to [HIDDEN], rinse and repeat and a whole super mutant camp is gone.
only one that deserves an honorable mention is the Brotherhood Recon Rifle. Which is player crafted, but the blueprint/plan for it comes from a terminal at Fort Defiance after the player has a military ID card. The econ Rifle costs the same materials as a same level hunting rifle, but comes fully kitted out with very nice mods on it to start with, and can also be crafted down to lvl 1 and lvl 5 for giving to new players.
I remember back when I was level 5 I wondered into the Cranberry Bog and randomly found the .50 machine gun and got it back to my camp alive! At the time I didn’t know how rare the gun was but now that I’m level 30 I can finally use the thing
Also in Harper's Ferry there is a Vendor Protectron that sells a pretty expensive but very nice unique 4-barrel black powder rofle called The Dragon. It cost me around 500 caps and it only uses up 1 round per shot.
The TNT dome key isnt in lockers, apparently it was glitch that it spawned there. So you would have to do a qed uest that isnt marked so you would DC have to do it yourself, or just watch a video about it
There is another location for the 50 .cal however i'm afraid i didn't take note of the exact location, but if you walk from the space station to the left corner of the map you may come across a dip in the world (looks like a giant crater) and there will be a truck with one, when i arrived there were a few Super Mutants and thats it.
My only .50 cal machine gun I had in the game glitches out of the map when I accidentally dropped it. In fact, the paper bag didn’t even have my .50 cal, then it just disappeared into the floor.
you can also find the guitar sword at that nightstalker mission where youre supposed to make a ton of noise to attract a wendigo, theres also a drum hammer and some other stuff.
I found a black powder rifle that uses .50 cal ball ammo that does 430+ damage.... forever keeping that because it can take down enemies with no problem, just has slow reload time but you cant go wrong with that high of damage
You can also find the 10mm submachine gun in a house where the overseer lives you might have to kill a few ghouls and the spot gives you alot of 10mm ammo
There’s actually four black powder weapons but the fourth on you have to buy from a trader. It’s called “the dragon” and what it is, is a quad barrel musket. I only know about it because I bought it for 358 caps
There's also another .50 Cal Machine Gun on the back of a bus/platform next to a raider body in the "Bog Town" Workshop area just follow the main road to the northeast of Watoga and you'll run into the town.

i got my first mg42 at level 58 from a US army requisition in the red place, it was level 45 and does 22 damage with my perks

I’m on the Xbox and if I leave and come right back 2 seconds later my progress is the same as when I left. I lose nothing

The location in Harpers Ferry is John Brown's Fort and exists in real life.
I know... They tried basing places off of real places in west Virginia alot of the places are.
Btw when he was talking about the MG42, here’s a tip on how to get one: there’s a shack by Vault 94 where you can log into a terminal and start a quest called “Queen Of The Hunt” you’ll have to go to multiple locations to kill creatures but once you have a tissue sample from one of them, you can return to the shack and insert the tissue sample into a machine, 3/4 of my friends including me got the MG42 from the quest, good luck ; )

Juice you're gonna love the dragon. It's a four barrelled black powder rifle with a base damage of 800 but uses 4 rounds per fire. If you can get multiple that hotkey trick should be devastating to most enemies.

Love the "pirate-style multiple black powder pistol" idea. Though as I'm rifle-focused my go-to has been my Two Shot Vats Enhanced The Dragon, with Speed Demon taking the edge off of the massively long reload.

The Dragon black powder rifle. Its a quad barrelled black powder rifle that does upwards of 250 dmg. Ive found two around the top of the world both level 45. I think they may be bugged atm, i believe its supposed to fire 4 times before reloading. (1 shot from each barrel) It has the longest reload time of all the black powder rifles so i thought itd make sense. I only started to think it was bugged when I had switched to it and it actually had 4 shots in it at once. Cant confirm if its bugged or not working as intended.

I drank some vintage nuka shine and I spawned in the area with the reddish color trees with the wired above ground roots and it was the east side of the map I found the mg 42 on a random enemy

i usually like to take Grafton Steel Mill, Berkely Springs, and the Munitions Plant since all 3 have lead, 2 of them have aluminum, and Grafton has 2 steel. With all that you can get a steady materials supply to make ammo, especially if you're a heavy weapons build like me.

I found a black powder rife (and two laser rifles) down the Burning Mine. But I’m pretty sure it’s a random spawn. I thought the guitar sword was ridiculous when I first saw it, but I really like it now, and it makes a nice soothing sound when I slaughter my enemies. The location where you find it is really creepy.

Another spot I have found the Browning LMG 50. Cal is at the WhiteSprings area. I found a safe in dirt patch around the Snake on the map. The safe is partially buried into the dirt/ground.

I found a space man helmet somewhere near the AVM (?) Hospital before the ash place. It was next to a couple nurse outfits and a swimsuit.

There is another Black Powder weapon, called The Dragon. It's a quad barrel BP Rifle but it fires them all at once.

@@richardnixon855 I found blueprints from a merchant trader from one of the train stations, though I was at level 37 (I think).
So its likely bound to high level players or its just a rare spawn/offer from the merchants.
When I saw it being sold by a merchant, it was priced around 1,000 caps, despite having hard bargainer maxed and Charisma around 5/6
Tbh, your better of find one shown at the locations shown in the video, or if your lucky having a loot drop from a crate. Again, I was around a high level when I found two from crates that can be looted.
I randomly looted it out of a lvl3 save, somtimes you get blueprints and recipes in lootcontainers

Deploy the armor inside the station then go to modify/repair, yeah?Anyway, you get the plans from the Ash Heap for doing the Excavator Armor quest. You need to be level 25 to craft the armor and complete the quest though.

i found a weapon in harpers farry, in the clinic of all places, not sure if it was just random or it spawns there multiple times never took the time to check. but i got a 4 barreled black powder rifle called "the dragon" and does it shreds health, but very slow reload. found it best to load it hit your high target to get his health almost half most times, and then take the rest with black powder pistols or some sort of rifle.
I found the chainsaw but it does 1 damage...
drayfon it works the same as the ripper I think as it doesn’t do much up front damage but it constantly attacks, or well that’s how it worked in new vegas

I actually went straight for the Alien Blaster once I reached level 20 and I'm holding on to it until I reach the right level. I'm also stocking up on Alien Blaster Rounds. I hated that I joined 76 two days before Invaders from Beyond ended. I really wanted those items from that season since I have a soft spot for the Zetans.

What are her defense values? That should be about 128 40mm Grenades from a leveled weapon when Demo. Expert is equipped, minus damage reduction for players not being level 95.

The scorchbeast queen gets harder the more people are there, and the higher level they are. I've seen some folks take her down with just 2-3 people, who then couldn't when there were more than a dozen people.

Lever action rifle is the rarest in game weapon, I've spent more than an hour trying to server hop and grind for it and ended up losing my camp, and half my weapons trying to get enough caps
I like to iron snipe with the black powder rifle when I’m on a rooftop with chameleon armour equipped, particularly on angled roofs I’m able to do 300 damage to someone due to a sneak bonus and just go behind the roof to go back to [HIDDEN], rinse and repeat and a whole super mutant camp is gone.
only one that deserves an honorable mention is the Brotherhood Recon Rifle. Which is player crafted, but the blueprint/plan for it comes from a terminal at Fort Defiance after the player has a military ID card. The econ Rifle costs the same materials as a same level hunting rifle, but comes fully kitted out with very nice mods on it to start with, and can also be crafted down to lvl 1 and lvl 5 for giving to new players.

I remember back when I was level 5 I wondered into the Cranberry Bog and randomly found the .50 machine gun and got it back to my camp alive! At the time I didn’t know how rare the gun was but now that I’m level 30 I can finally use the thing
Also in Harper's Ferry there is a Vendor Protectron that sells a pretty expensive but very nice unique 4-barrel black powder rofle called The Dragon. It cost me around 500 caps and it only uses up 1 round per shot.
The TNT dome key isnt in lockers, apparently it was glitch that it spawned there. So you would have to do a qed uest that isnt marked so you would DC have to do it yourself, or just watch a video about it
10mm SMG can also be found in poseidon's plant along with hazmat suit, minigun, and a power armor behind a locked door there
There is another location for the 50 .cal however i'm afraid i didn't take note of the exact location, but if you walk from the space station to the left corner of the map you may come across a dip in the world (looks like a giant crater) and there will be a truck with one, when i arrived there were a few Super Mutants and thats it.
My only .50 cal machine gun I had in the game glitches out of the map when I accidentally dropped it. In fact, the paper bag didn’t even have my .50 cal, then it just disappeared into the floor.
you can also find the guitar sword at that nightstalker mission where youre supposed to make a ton of noise to attract a wendigo, theres also a drum hammer and some other stuff.

I absolutely love fallout. It’s basically like a theme park but for the apocalypse.
I found a black powder rifle that uses .50 cal ball ammo that does 430+ damage.... forever keeping that because it can take down enemies with no problem, just has slow reload time but you cant go wrong with that high of damage
You can find a black powder rifle in the Garrahan estate. It also will scale with whatever level you are
You can also find the 10mm submachine gun in a house where the overseer lives you might have to kill a few ghouls and the spot gives you alot of 10mm ammo
There’s actually four black powder weapons but the fourth on you have to buy from a trader. It’s called “the dragon” and what it is, is a quad barrel musket. I only know about it because I bought it for 358 caps

There's also another .50 Cal Machine Gun on the back of a bus/platform next to a raider body in the "Bog Town" Workshop area just follow the main road to the northeast of Watoga and you'll run into the town.
