As a current destiny 2 player. Gleaming depths is infinitely more easier than leviathan raid and even last wish. Especially since destiny 2 raids require 6 players.
Thank you! I have avoided other guides others have posted, but watched this. Now that I know what it's about, it doesn't sound terribly exciting, despite the nice new weapons/power armor. Just seems to consist of shooting a bunch of bullet sponges over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....

This is pretty much all raids ever are in any game. Powerful bosses with mechanics. They just skipped add sections and hidden mini bosses. Some people don't enjoy it for whatever reason.
@jeremyw6246 Honestly, I appreciate the insight. I really don't play anything besides switching back and forth between Fallout 76 and 4. So I wasn't aware of the universality of raids in other games.
My comment is rooted in the redundancy of the big events; they feel like they're just running the same playbook, with the aim being to shoot a lot.
Raids - shoot a lot.
Daily OPs - shoot a lot with a time limit.
Expeditions - shoot a lot without a time limit*.
Caravans - shoot a lot while escorting a brahmin.
I know: it's a looter-shooter. What am I to expect? *I will say that out of what I've played from that list, I find the Expeditions the most interesting because of the extra activities involved.

@jeremyw6246 BUT - not to go too far on a rant, because there is a lot of neat content they have released as well. Skyline Valley is a fun addition. The aforementioned Expeditions offer a fresh take on the "shoot a lot" formula.
I think for me it comes down to: I'd rather Bethesda release a new update/season based on neat ideas/content and not because the calendar says they must.

Great video, im new to 76.. have played rpg’s/mmos for 2 decades. This game really is a gem. I dont understand why it isnt on more peoples radar. I liked it enough to sub. Playing on pc.. havent had a disconnect or crash yet. Runs really well.
Vampire combined with ricoge is also helping smart to do, and if wearing PA use the legendary perk that can heal you and/or recharge your fusion core.

I've set up a base right outside the raid zone so that I can immediately have me and my team come out of one repair rearm refuel and jump right back down

Just got done trying it out and honestly it seems like if your anything other than some kind of insane bloodied PA build its almost impossible to get past the first boss, i dont wanna have to dump all my ammo and meds just trying to survive the first boss fight
Most of the bloodied players have tons of scrap 20 thousand or more each i'm in the low thousands and though its easy to make ammo it would take all of what i have tempting though who knows :)

Apparently you need at least some perk to cripple mobs in the raid. Will have to go on my shotgun/enforcer build Inguess 😅

I get a bunch of low lvls and grind the guardian for them. I sometimes might go full raid, but enless people know what to do, it can be a grind. They seem happy unlocking the vulcan plans though and i dont mind the company as i grind the bot to bits with my autoaxe 😂😂
Psa, bring the nuka launcher in on the 1st boss its an easy solo if u can carry all those 40mm
Did you get a 3 Star Intelligence mod for Weapons from any of your Raids?
The 1st encounter there are 4 things you can destroy on it i suck at explaining but there ate pressure plates right at the bots feet

How much ammo do you estimate will get you through? I run an unyielding build with quad railway and fixer.

It definitely is lol.
With Fixer and Railway I can’t imagine you’ll be going through nearly as much as the heavy users do.
I can usually go through 2000 5mm rounds or so on EN06 alone.
I see the mole miners can be staggered by Pain Train and mini shredder, wonder if you can freeze them with Cold shoulder to slow them down? I jetpacked over one and still got taken out. Power Armor Reboot and mysterious stranger *may* help with autorevive, but they didn't work for me. There is a video showing it working, just a maxed card is 40% chance.
well for the one shot mob's you need a Runner to pull aggro of both when some one going to pick up fuel
I’m tried endlessly to beat the boss fight with people online and have had no luck as of yet 🙃
My team lost 4 good runs on Ultracite Terror to console crashes. I hope Bethesda fixes them soon. I was itching for the Day One clear today. But the crashes were too much after everything we went through to get to the end

Farm the bot 20 times an hour....auto axe and vampire gat plas. Solo. No stimpaks used.
This type of raid seems to fit F76 well, as you don't want to need comms. The mechanics are pretty straightforward and it will just be a matter of working out proper signals to other players, which I'm sure won't take long to standardize. Thank you for the great video.
I would not even consider this a raid. Half the point of a raid is the use of teamwork with a VoP. This feels more like a tough group activity that can be brute forced with minimum strats.

Just because you may not be interested or you may not want to trade one bill for another.... Does not mean it's trash or not worth playing. There's plenty of other games out there. I have my power armor sets ready. Little bit more fine tuning before the 3rd but I'll have that taken care of this weekend. Im gtg!

Can someone tell me this: do you have to find the gleaming depths to have it on your map or do you have to start the blue ridge caravan part first to access it? It’s not showing up on my map at all. I’ve got all the updates though apparently. There’s slots for the 4 star upgrades but I can’t access the raid
What armor or cards, do you need with Bloodhund? At times he just hits me once and I am down. I used the union, t-65 and the vulan and one hit done.

Ok so i was so close (finally) to killing the 1st boss. However its a pain in the ass for me once the room heats up to find the open door. Even with the flashing i have to stop shooting as soon as his shield is down basically to find which door opsns. Does the blast door change every time (As in sometimes door B opens first then randomly either A or C next?

I love it when im level 165 and people kick me out of the raid group when I survive longer than a 500 so we can't join them to try beating it
Just finished the raid, definitely fun and not heavily taxing. Fairly simple with a full competent team. Hardest part is just figuring out mechanics and how to not get killed which is fairly straight forward

Did they make a final "balancing" change to the raids after the PTS? Me and 3 other level 800+ cannot get past the first level. We got close, but good god. Edit: We're on PS.

How do we stop the final boss from constantly freezing our teams games?
Would have beaten the thing 30 times by now but because 2 to 3 peoples game freeze through out we've beaten it barely 3 times after wasting 10s of thousands of bullets and thousands of stim packs.
what is the ammo situation like in the raids?
are we going to have to walk in with 10,000 rounds for our non auto weapons and 30,000 for our automatics?
is the drop rate for ammo going to hold up to our expenditure?

If you're going to run the raid you will need a ton of stims and even more ammunition I'm talking in the 10s of thousands and pray you don't wipe to many times.
Seems like I can forget playing this with bloodied character without power armor. The part with destruction of the crystals, couldn't you stand on top of one of those poles/walkthroughs?
Guys don’t forget, you can always just play a different game if you don’t like the direction the game has gone. They have given support to this game when everyone called it dead for years. Any other company have abandoned this long ago, I’m happy they turned the game around and give me effort. If it were COD you’d spend $70 every year for bare minimum.

Same here, I am over level 1000 and gets instantly one shot killed by the first boss, the stationary turret. Not sure these bossfights meant to be this challenging?

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, it looks to get stale after one raid. I think it was a decent idea, however, no one really enjoyed the expeditions when they came out, the newest caravan quests are buggy and can't be completed half the time, so I really don't hold much hope that the raids will be any better. I'll try them at least once, but will most likely just go back to camp building.
I definitely enjoyed the expeditions. Hopeful to see the raids get better and better over time.

Bloody builds going slowly away, they will be one shotted in there. I know i tried😅 i been a bloodied build for 1400 levels, with full set of Recon overeaters, still one shotted me
So a melee only character will never be able to take part. :(

Is it normal for the Shield of the robot to charge up every now and then???
Its health chages up around every 15-20seconds by about 5%... i feel like my internet connection is causing issues because its impossible to get the shield down to less than 50% for me... i have a very strong build otherwise and can easy take a behemoths beating for 2-3min without dying...

I just got a Anti Armor explosive 25 ap plasma rifle that I use with pulse emitter and flamer barrel

Ammo reduction perks or the 3 star legendary armor effect that reduces ammo weight. Hope this helps!

@Manfromthenorth0551 my guy, the BoS are exactly the same as the enclave ethically, but with no direction. They do the same fascist eugenics, only difference is they want to squat on top of a bunch of tech in a hole, while the enclave wants to rebuild society.
Well figured out... if you are encumbered.... you lose. You dont get your behind fast enough to the shelter. So if you got a lot of stuff you dont want to lose or drop. Don't bother.
You know there will be stash boxes etc there at the raid? Just prep before the raid, as you always should. Don’t see any issues at all 🤦🏻♂️

@@mortenj9315 dude, there are many ways to fix that. Here is two: 1. Clean out what stuff you don’t use 2. Create a ”mule”/new character you dump stuff you don’t use on.
If you refuse to fix it, enjoy having the issues then.
