Do Sig Handguns Really Rust That Bad?

I'm sure you have heard people say that Sig's will rust if you dont do this or that or blah blah blah...i was one of them, sadly. But do they really?

Never heard that rumor but I wear my Sig daily with sweat and rain and never seen rust

Wear an inside shirt or vest from the sweat and a regular cleaning and your good

Yeah, heard it a lot mentioned around work, also in comments over YT. Finding out that was more non-sig fans talking smack it seems. You, know, kinda like me with 1911s. 😅

just got my p320 a month ago and am already seen wear and tear. im new to firearms and got it at a gun show. it was advertised as new but now im skeptical. the mag release is already rusted and the slide had some slight rust spots that i got out
