Here's a new lesson from the Inkscape Master Series! If you haven't already seen the previous one, about Trace Bitmap, check it out here: th-cam.com/video/Z39-QaDRHoI/w-d-xo.html
crazy how it can be frustrating when it's not doing what you want but then you come here and learn how it really works and all of a sudden it makes sense. of course i had random transparency cause i used a mask and i should have used a clip. doi. This is day 2 of learning a vector program and it feels very powerful with a ton of options for design.
hello thank you so much for explaining all of path operation, and make a sens for understanding them, But one question please, if you can answer me clearly and for understanding ore please : it s about cliping group ! : when and why we use it ? why we need chhos cliping group and not masque or set cliping ? why on the enf of the video of the cofee glass, the first picture yo put it on cliping group ? why you did not use set a clip ? i do not know if my question so clearly ! thnak you again
Hello, I'm your student on Udemy, tell me something, I saw that in this tutorial you are not using the current version of Inkscape, why? Do you recommend using another one?
Clip groups use clipping, but you can also add more objects to the group and they will be clipped as well. To add more objects with normal clipping, you would have to first release the clip, select everything, then set the clip again.

The pace of the video is excellent. It's great how you first explained all the concepts and then showed how to apply each of them!
Wonderful video, impossible to be more complete. Thanks so much for sharing so much knowledge 💯
I totally agree. Thank you so much!

Great work,,, though it is confusing, watching it to accomplish my skills in clipping & mask,
It definitely takes some practice to get the hang of it all.

How do I save a clip group as an svg. I recently tried to upload an image i created onto printify, only part of the image was visible.
I can't find anywhere.... how do I save my clip group as an svg and have only what I see show up?
You do good at teaching and love your videos but do you think you could slow down the visuals a little bit
I'll do my best!
Can u do a video how to do background with a picture in front of background in inkscape
I'm not really sure what you mean. Do you have a link to an example?

Hello! I'm using version 1.2.2, which is currently the latest version. Does yours look different?
what's the difference between clip and clip group?
I didn't understand well
Clip groups use clipping, but you can also add more objects to the group and they will be clipped as well. To add more objects with normal clipping, you would have to first release the clip, select everything, then set the clip again.
I absolutely love your videos, but on some parts you’re going very fast and I can’t even see what you did.
Inverse clip doesn't work..... it just clips
It works, but only on shapes and paths. It doesn't work on things like images and groups of objects, unfortunately.
