hey mate, love the list, been playing it since weeks on master duel, and also just bought the deck for locals, just a few questions, did you think of something like sauravis x1 or a second copy of battlelord, or maybe a little impcantation engine and with that paying maybe a strong ritual too like amorphactor pain, thanks already, keep it up!
@gabrycraft2018 if I were to update the list I'd definitely include a 2nd battlelord. However I'd try not to play too many other rituals as they're not ideal to draw and can cause consistency issues in a deck that already struggles with consistency.
This is a sick list! Logic is lines are very thought out. To help the flow of the deck, id cut the non ritual vendreads except 1-2 copies of striges and 3 copies of scar. 3 Charge of the vendread is also a big extender to fix your hand by discarding striges, scar, or rituals. To summon even more extenders such as striges, and scar. Also you can use it to dodge handtraps that target uni. I prefer diviner as the only normal summon. That way, we open more gas. Combo that with 3 prep of rites with 1 benten makes opening diviner easier. Prep adding slayer is also huge as well as recycling origin. Ravenous being your best opener to get slayer for free by setting scar is a huge plus, definitely main 3. Non engine like zombie world and droplets dont fuel the vendread combo and are better in the side deck. Vendread is very xenophobic and doesn't mix well with other decks. That striges reveal cost hurts when you only have non engine left in hand. Battle lord... by the time you get him out the opp already had multiple opportunities to hand trap you. I want a reason to play him but he hurts the overall flow of the combo. Level 6 diviner with slayer makes ultimaya tzolkin. Slayer trigger add spell. Set spell. Tzolkin trigger. Summon crystal wing in under 5 summons. This is a power house play. Lemme know if ya wanna chat on this more. Im passionate about this deck and would love to theory craft more on it with someone with just as much passion.

Seems like a good list, I personally Run 2 Battlelord so that Vendread Evolution has a target and 2 Scar the Vendread as having more access to him is pretty good and I am also running 3 Origin, 2 Evolution and 2 Ravenous. I know having 7 Ritiual Spells might seem a lot but I just personally prefer having more access to Ravenous as it's basically a guaranteed combo to loop into Slayer with multiple effects or even an untargettable Executor with various effects. Also it's surprising how a Revenants/Houndhorde Slayer is just an absolute power house with barely any counter.
Yea I've considered running a 2nd battlelord solely for the fact that like you said you can send battlelord to summon battlelord off of evolution. However I still think multiple scars are unnecessary I get its important to the theme but it really is bricky when you hard open it plus once it's in the GY it continually recycles itself making other copies somewhat useless. Again my opinion tho. I tried going for maximum consistency with this list.
I've gotten more into Yugioh and I like the Vendreads though obviously the deck is seriously lacking in more support so obviously need to know what to add or include to improve it.
I have decided to revisit the Vendread archetype and sculpt into alsomething unfair enough to consistenly get wins this season. I like your setup and the work you did to add some legitimacy to the strategy
Cool profile but out of style reasons I would like to play on zombie monster only version, in that case what would you replace for the 4 non zombies in the deck Opinion on Vendread Chimera? (I think its not worth in an more competitive, but how would you include it if you had to?)
Well diviner fills a strong role and unfortunately there isn't really a zombie that does anything close to what she does. I suppose you could run something like gozuki in her place or shiranui solitare to get more access to unizombie but unizombie alone sometimes doesn't help the deck get to its rituals which can be problematic.
@@Nickscruiser thank you for your comment, maybe a zombie support card for ritual monster would be the perfect fit but if there are non, I consider playing diviner then if I play the deck more serious, its only 1 extra deck slot anyways
Couple things Vendreads need are more regular Effect Monsters that can protect and attack prior to you getting Ritual Monsters out and atleast 2 more Big Bruiser type Ritual Monsters. Also needs some more spell and trap support.
Completely agree with you. I wish they had non rituals that did more on field other than give the rituals effects. What they do is cool and all but we really needed play starters which none of them are.

I love the zombie archatype It is my favorate and I had no clue they have a rutial archatype and im so hype for this combo video.
