I love how with a fast car you always casually manage to go sub 8 with no drama and very little effort. For anyone who doesn't know an E92 M3 stock struggled to go sub 8 on a closed track. Obviously this car is modified and lighter, but still a tremendous showing of skill as always.

Best that I can tell is that 2nd lap was a 7:55ish to 8 minute flat with a track full of traffic! That is BONKERS! Holy crap Misha, it takes a really good driver to get the most out of a car that is set up as well as that one, and I believe you squeezed every drop of go fast juice out of that M3. Blowing by literally EVERYBODY - other BMW's, too many Porches to count, GTI's, a frickin' Lotus, and so many others... VROOOOMMM! gear shift VROOOOOOM! gear shift VROOOOOM! as Misha waves, "thank you bye bye now"
@@blakemoff Every beemer I've owned since the E90, the speedo is 3-4mph 'fast' from the moment the gauge moves from zero, right through the range. I'm sure it's a deliberate margin of safety to protect the driver from speeding fines. If I recall correctly, there is a programmable coding setting for the cluster: Velocity is accurate - Nicht aktiv
The Schirmer video you and Robert did four years ago is one of the reasons I bought one. I’ve slowly modified it into a track car and it’s by far the most engaging, rewarding, and funnest car I’ve ever owned. E92 M3 > all the new stuff 👏
So with the dct when you put it in sport theres an extra option there for even better shifts. I can tell the trans wasn't at its fullest. I can see the dct pressure has one more box up
You know your car has become a race car when you see too many warning lights on the dashboard, so BMW drivers out there, whenever you have too many warning lights in your car, never worry, this means you have a racing car

Ive owned x2 e92 M3's DCT. The best cars Ive ever owned beating out 911s and AMG's. Such a balanced predictable car! Need a 3rd ! its aged so well !! the right mix of analogue / digital
Misha, I know about a funny, special little car you want to look up in here, but first... V8 is good and all that, but the high pitch exhaust note that can be attained from equal length headers, are missing, not claiming it sounds bad or anything. BMW is superb on revs though, but I still want to create something oddly satisfying to listen to with odd numbers of cylinders, I think 2 superchargers with different size pulleys will bring out the beast and the sound I have in mind when I think about it😁 And this little car I have in mind, it has a tiny little 2 liter V16 and it sounds *A M A Z I N G* Vincent Foucart V16 is what you want to search for, did you know about that one? Guess it's about time I subbed as well🤣
imho best bmw car which I really would love to have. body , performance and obviously enginge make is perfect. I know that e30, e46 and new series are cool, but only e92 m3 could make me bmw fanboy 😜🤷♂
Sorry Misha, looking back at the video, around 270 km/h there is an increase in resonance vibrations. You can make a smoothie with it. Have you noticed that the water temperature above 100 C*, not knowing the operating temperatures of the gearbox, that the clutch starts to slip when shifting? Just curiosity
This car aged so well. Old RS5/M3/C63 introduced new era of design which is still good looking after 15 years!

420hp with low torque numbers but these things are just insane for some reason. Its the 8500rpm changes with that DCT. Amazing combo.
It’s such an amazing chassis and drivetrain straight out the box, with just some suspension and brake upgrades transforms into a monster.
Some of those corner speeds were mind blowing! Cracking lap!
