Purchased my XT in early fall 23 primarily due to your reviews. Thanks for your work.
Last year I picked up a cascade SB in 350L based on your videos and your recommendation in a reply to my previous comment. Caught 2 does with it this past deer season. Love it, great rifle!
Okay WTH…you got me hooked. Just ordered the new CVA LRH in 7 PRC. Can’t wait for the arrival. And this new baby will join the CVA XT 300 PRC and the OG CVA 6.5 Creedmore in my collection.
I have a CVA Cascade 300 Win Mag with a Burris Eliminator III scope, and I just bought me a CVA Cascade LRH 300PRC. It'll be getting a Arken EP5 scope on it.
I specifically waited for the cascade to come out in 30-06. When it became available last fall, I picked one up. My first 4 shots were under 1 moa at 100 yards with only a visual bore sight. I will be buying more cascade rifles.
So you found one in 3006
I'm loving cva these days. I'm from a straight-walled state. I bought a cva scout v2 44mag because of the price but holy crap it's turned out to be awesome. I also have a cva wolf for muzzleloading and you can't beat it for the price. Now i might need to add a cascade 🤔 great stuff who tee who
Thank you for the really fun video. Still holding out for Ruger GenII in 270. Will see which is available first and go from there.
Looks like a really nice Bing bang can't wait to see you put in in action can't wait to learn more about it dude
I bought a cva muzzle loader for my son for Xmas several years ago and he loved it , so after seeing your reviews last year I pulled the trigger on the Cascade XT in 308 a d I am glad I did, what a rifle.
I was so happy when you said it was a 22/250 and not 6.5 CREEDLESS 😂
22-250 at 1000 yards? Awesome. I have the Cascade in .300 WM, easy to reload for,I've tried 3 different hunting boolots with decent accuracy. It's a keeper
What really like about CVA is the same barrel made for Bergarra to maintain good stuff! Thank you for your video it makes me like LHR in 300 PRC.
Just bought me one in 300 PRC
Absolutely love the CVA Cascade series of rifles.
I have the original Cascade in .350 legend, absolute tack driver and awesome on whitetails.
I have the Cascade XT in .308 love it.
My next one will be the new Cascade LRH in 7 PRC.
I also want the new varmit cascade in .223
The cascades also use a Remington 700 style trigger. I have a 308 cascade sb swapped out the trigger to a timney and love it.
Can't wait to see the rifle in action and learn more about its features.
I have CVA cascade in .450 Bushmaster. 3 years 7 deer taken. I am a Savage guy but the quality of the Cascade and coated barrel for the price point sold me on it. Also own a CVA muzzle loader as well.
Cool! Thanks for the awesome content!
Cva’s barrles are made by bergara .. that’s why they are so accurate… and they are accurate
Button rifling is amazing.
Adj comb is a must have; it's a cheek weld not a chin weld
Now this..this is a real proper made one, made for hunters, that will function and operate easily, as needed and as intended..for a good price and great value ! Love CVA ..TWO THUMBS UP 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
I LOVE my og Cascade. Just saw the new LRH on their website and found your video. Will look to pick one up!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info my friend 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊
I just bought a rifle from CVA and I can't wait for it to arrive. I'll definitely be watching and reading about the new series of rifles too. A person has to enjoy life.
What a great piece from stem to stern . Thanks for sharing . Cheers 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
Looks like a great option. I think the flat forend is underappreciated in a hunting context. Real game changer for stability if you are hunting out of solid stands. My only gripe is the barrel lengths, in the age of cans a 20 inch is the max length I want to have to keep the overall length in check.
Thanks for the great video, definitely going to be my next buy with the comb. Flat stock makes it even better!
Great information 👍
I have a CVA cascade SB in 6.5 creedmoor I would have to say it is one of the best guns I own. Accuracy is great and because of the LOP spacer my 8 year old grandson used it this deer season two big hogs and one nice eight point. I would love for the LRH to be in a shorter barrel for running a silencer. Thanks for the video.
This gun looks great, can’t wait to see your review. Can you show the action, bolt & how light the trigger can be adjusted? I’m looking to buy a new 6.5Cm this year since I have all the reloading gear for it. This rifle will be on my lower priced end of choices on my list! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Y’all no more about rifles than me … but it seems there are some not all odd bird calibers , or maybe upcoming I should say but I noticed the barrel length on some that was 22 and 24 and it seemed opposite of what I thought… even in the second line of cascade they had a 22 in on a 22-250 and a 24 on another I believe was a 270 which I thought they should be both 24 at least but I ain’t no armorer or engineer of that stuff but I’ve owned more than 1 of those noted calibers and to be honest I could tell the difference between my gun and others . For what it’s worth . Appreciate your video and always God Bless
You also have the double studded forend for the sling wrap to help when free handing shots.
Looks like a Marlin XL7 or XS7 rifle.
One of the best values that Marlin ever offered! (or any gun company for that matter!)
Really cool stuff! 😀
I like the three lug action with reduced bolt throw. From that alone I prefer it.
Good rifle mate.
I have the cascade xt and it's perfection. I'm looking forward to the lrh for 7 PRC.
I got 2 cva cascades one in 308 and a 350 legend both of mine have nikon buckmaster scopes 3x9 and a 4x12
I have the 308 in the original.camo stock. Yea it's not picky shoots everything under an inch. Great rifle..Looking at the xt and the LRH.
definitely interesting !
I been looking at it in the 300prc
I know it says medium/heavy barrel. Curious if it'll be a heavier barrel than the XT has or the same barrels. If it's just the differences in the stock I'd likely go for the XT and save a couple bucks.
Cool Video 😁👍🏼
I want a chasis for the cvas. Thats all they are missing is a folding stock capable chasis
I could see the advantage if a hunter wanted a lighter stock. The old model could use a pad or sleeve on stock if the hunter needs some custom adjustments, but that adds weight. I like lower rings on scope if possible. Leupold makes an old scope that actually sits directly on top of rifle, the scope has small concave index inside the hemisphere of glass. It almost combines the scope and rifle, very rare but still an option.
I always wanted a cva wolf. I think they even have a black powder cascade too.
just ordered my Lrh in 308 burnt bronze, cant wait
Nice
Sweet! 💯💥💥
I just picked up my Cascade in 350 Legend. Not a LR round, but it's going to be incredibly quiet with a shoosher and subsonic ammo!
Awesome
Still extremely lethal with subsonic ammo on whitetail, no doubt.
@@TheIslandExpat According to the box, 255gr ammo from Winchester still delivers 630 ft. lbs. of energy at the muzzle. I'm not sure what length barrel Winchester tested with or if they averaged between the variants, but the Cascade comes with a 22" barrel. That should give me a full burn, or close at least. I think it's less than 80ftlbs of pressure to penetrate a deer so it should reach the vitals at short range just fine. My target area has a maximum shot range of 60yds. Too thick to get any further with a ground blind. Another plus, I've been able to pick these rounds up at $1/round. At today's ammo prices, I'll take it!
you know what would make a cool video take a caliber, lets say 6.5 creed and 6.5 prc they both will shoot common bullets so youll get a really good and fair comparison then get rifles with 20 in.,22 in.,24 in.,and 26 in. barrels and shoot all the common wgt bullets with a chrono. and see what you get.really big project especially when you compare handloads maybe you could get loaners and ammo donors.Ive always wondered what a 20 in barelled 143 gr bullet in 6.5 prc and that same bullet in a 26 in. 6.5 creed and vice a versa
Sorry if this is a repeat. Does Bargara make the barrels for the Cascade? Great job WTW!
Yes 👍👍
Can we get a CVA vs Ruger American gen 2 video?
Heck yeah. I like it 👍🇺🇸
A blurr box comes on your video 2/3rd through
gotta love bergara barrels
Just got my VH in 243 win & for $800 otd. If I make it to the range by Father's Day, I'll update my comment, but if it feels as it shoots. Then look out!! So, I am impressed and will update soon..............BUZZ
Awesome
Bought an original cascade in 308. Excellent bang for the buck
Absolutely
Nice bang for bucks ! Both kinds.
Great looking rifle! I hope one in the 6.5 PRC and a 308, will be light.... like maybe 6.5 lbs?
Thanks WTW for the daily video content. I live in CA, so I have to hunt with non-lead. We have mostly.270 Win, 30-06 Spgfld, 308 Win and 300 WM available in copper loads. I am trying to decide between the CVA Cascade or the Ruger American Go Wild or Ruger American Gen 2. I want a 30-06 clambering and a muzzle break. What would you recommend?
Off thr Top of my head only the original Cascade comes in 30-06. That would be my 1st choice if I could find it
I have been looking for a 30-06 I will be looking at this rifle .
Does it have full size aluminum bedding block? And FIRING PIN SAFTY OR JUST A SEAR SAFTY? THINGS I LIKE
It was a CVA Cascade or Tikka T3x-lite. Went with the Tikka due to not finding the Cascade. The new model looks very compelling. Don't know if the wife would appreciate another firearm purchase. 😅
Been thinking about getting a CVA Cascade short barrel 308
I have the XT in 300 PRC and 308, will be looking real hard at the long range hunter in 7mm PRC
Sweeeeet
Have you heard of the beretta brx straight pull if so what do you think of it from what has been spoken about it?
I've known about it for a while. Haven't shot one yet
Saving up for my first gun and the cva cascade would be my number 1 pick, but I’m debating buying a ruger American first. Do you think it’s worth the couple hundred extra bucks? Love your videos by the way
You can normally find a cva pretty close to ruger price
I would hope the LRH would feature a longer barrel to gain velocity for long range.... but I see it's not the case. That's too bad. I got excited when I saw the Cascade .22-250 was a 1:12 twist rate, but it's only a 22" barrel 😮💨
My LRH 300PRC has a 26 inch barrel and 1:9 twist
@@bryanhale6018 Is it a CVA Cascade or a Savage? 26" is a sweet spot in barrel length for many cartridges in my opinion. You really start falling off with what you gain per inch after that although there is still some gain in velocity.
Yay for WtW & Paul !!!!!!!!
Heyo
Personally I’m going ruger gen 2 instead of cva but good on yah cva looks nice
I might have to get one of these instead of a tikka or a Begarra
Any guarantee on accuracy
does any of these budget friendly rifles come in a 280 remington I have looked a long time for one
Looks like a little more vertical surface on the pistol grip.
So they are coming out with the CVa xt in 7prc MSRP 825.00 if I read it right ..but I have to hunt with my mossberg ..I would love to have a CVa but oh well ..
I know you probably get a bunch of ridiculous requests, but I would love to see a review on this long range hunter in the 7MM PRC it looks like a few people are carrying it right now, but it’s still available
I'd like one too
@@WHOTEEWHO looks like buds online pew pew shop has a few
Does anyone know what the weight difference is between the OG cerekote Cascade is vs. the XT Cascades? (NOT the long range hunter)
I’ve seen conflicting weights listed online with various retailers.
Hey WTW , so I guess this is NOT the unveiling of the MYSTERY RIFLE from your earlier Hunting Trip this Season??? Also what was up with the BLURRED SCREEN towards the end of your video? As always another awesome video Bro.
Nope. That mystery rifle has been pushed back to February
This video was demonetized by YT 5 times until I finally just gave up. Tried blurring things out to appease YT. It did not work
@@WHOTEEWHO Awe man, I’m assuming that will be after ShotShow ? What about the Blurred Screen???
@@WHOTEEWHO that’s CRAZY 🤪… You’re the BEST YT’R out here BRO.
I thought you dropped a booger or something and didn't want to reshoot.
Wish they took the 375 ruger case and made a 338 prc with the 285 grain smk lol
I think I’d rather have one of these instead of the new rugers.
Me too
Do we know if the LRH will eventually be offered in more calibers?
@WHO_TEE_WHO
You prefer the CVA Cascades or the Ruger American Gen II?
What caliber is it
When will the cascade long range hunter be available to the public
What do they all weigh?
Twist rate of your 22-250?
Have you seen the new one with a woodland stock and fde cerakote?
Which one would you buy in 308 cva lrh or ruger gen 2 308 im looking for one Thank you for what you do
Cva
I have a CVA Cascade SB 16 inch in 308win. If these can hold sub half MOA like my SB I could be in for one in 6.5PRC.
I probably missed it but can you do a video on the 240 weatherby magnum? Just wondering
I have not yet. Hopefully eventually
Why the manufacturers all have a 1:9.5 twist for their 7mm Rem Mag rifles is silly to me. This twist rate doesn't allow you to shoot the heavier 180's. The standard today should be no more than 1:9, and I'd argue that 1:8.5 would be the sweet spot, and would really allow people to experience the range that round is capable of north of 162gr bullets.
Browning offers a 7 mag with a fast twist now. I forget exactly but it's either 1:8 or 1:8.5
@@Dfleuryoutdoors I'd be interested to know which model that is. If that's true, it'll be a winner as long as it's not a typical Browning pencil barrel.
Just got the cascade xt in 7prc. Waiting until it gets a little warmer in MN so I can try it out.
Awesome
Hope we get to see this long range hunter in action. Would love to see how it groups. Considering getting one in 6.5prc
I hope so too
30: 06 seems to be getting obsolete
Forced to grow that man- bun. Lots of 6.5 and 308. Good cartridges but not my preference. Just sayin.
Why is part of the video blurred out???
Which do you like best the savage 110 trail hunter or the cva cascade
Oof that's tough.
Might buy one if they dropped a couple lbs
CVA Cascade or Ruger American Gen 2 in 243 Win? Generally, which is more accurate/precise?
Cva cascade
Just bought the lrh in 7mag
Nice
Good @ adjustable cheek height!
Are the prcs here to stay....? New rifles on budget. In with the new ? Or stick to what works
So what's the blurred out section for WTW ?
I like to see if they can make the twist rate 1/16 not 1 /24. And make the barrel 26 inches long
I want your take on 22creemadoor you havent shot one of those yet have you
Not yet
I wish they would make a lightweight something that weighed under 6.5 lbs
