Im no investor, Im not ambitious enough to drive an expensive car or have a fancy place to live. For most of my life, money was nothing but a struggle. In recent years Ive changed things enough to live comfortably, and that's enough for me. Bills are paid, foods on the table. I watch your videos for your insight, to see how the other half lives so to speak. I just want to thank you for saying that not everyone has to be a millionaire. If thats what drives you, more power to you. But never lose sight of who you are and what you really want.

When I was in my early twenties I told everyone my age to stay at home. We were in the 3rd most expensive town in the state full of successful engineers, so rent was insane and it was cheaper to just pay mortgage.

Rudy you are my kindered spirit. You are an adult clone of my long gone childhood best friend. Not only our love of the fantastic but a relationship of growth. When we were young i thought i was there to help him, being many years older myself. At that time it may have been true, but for silly things, important at the time. With his sister or friends or dealing with school. At the time these were a wall with no solution. Now that he is gone i see so much more, he was very intelligent like you, and not afraid to go his own way. I can only imagine if he was here now.
Aaaah dig a hole a and be a carrot, rudy i understand and know this may be the weirdest comment you ever got, but i would go play outside with you any day. Thank you keep up all the amazing videos you are an inspiration and the friend we all miss.

One of my first videos I’ve come across of yours and it was very enjoyable and eye opening . Being I just came back to collecting in the last 3 months with the Pokémon hype . I collected as a kid Pokémon , more so yugioh . And after watching the hype , videos and streams of people enjoying Pokémon in the last month I have spent around 3 grand opening packs having fun losing or making money here and there(I don’t sell anything but check prices) . Untill recently I’ve started getting into the investment side and buying items and leaving them sealed I don’t plan to sell anything for a while as I don’t need the money but never thought of the market going down on them . I’ve sorta sucked the fun of wanting to open packs now that all I think about is the money I’m losing in the future opening and not leaving sealed

Fantastic advice. Don't let people shame you for living with your parents. I look at my life and those of the people I grew up with. Those who tried to go at it alone have put themselves through a lot more strife than they needed to. My parents have been amazing people who have given me good council, financial stability, & accountability. Family is the structure that holds you up through the good & bad times. Don't live with your parents to waste away playing video games & other such things. Do something with your life. Try to get ahead & improve. Do your work around the house & serving your family. Be a net positive to your family, not a negative. This is how we make it through.

Hi Rudy I got hosed - £1300 on trying to jump on the GME hype instead I dived head first in front of the train splattered ass into face. I listened to your advice for "watch out for when this goes sideways"
I was thinking do I hold on in hope the rocket carries on then thought back to what you said and bailed out luckily i did as it then continued to drop another %50.
I think I got suckered into the biggest social pump and dump that has ever happened. Jumped in at a all time high after the easy money had been made.

You make a lot of good points - things that are valuable hold there value. The thing to watch out for is making sure you can outlast periods of financial stress since if you can't your going into your "investments" and that's usually time other people are tapping into there "investments" creating a low period. If your low value is already ahead of the price you paid that's good.

I have a question I haven't really been able to get an answer on regarding the gamestop stuff. I've seen people say "I made 10k on doge, I made 500 bucks, I make x amount" for example buying doge at .04 cents and selling at $1. How does taxes work for that? How do you liquidate it and put it back into your bank? If I bought 1 stock of doge at 4 cents and sold it at $1, my profit is 96 cents but how would the taxes work and what would the true profit be?
