Top notch car. I’ll be buying it next year. I do wish (personal preference) it had that interior colour changing lighting. Not sure what is technical name for it if else. But That would’ve been a cherry on the cake for me. Great video man. Ike always. Thanks
Mazda is making great vehicles! Out of curiosity, is that acceleration noise piped in to the cabin? Because it sounds pretty darned good. I assume you're driving the inline 6, yes?
@@mgt2092 I don't recall the pn, but it is single in and single out. I essentially did a muffler delete and exposed the tips. Factory ground dumps are lame to me. But it had a little vibration I didn't like so I added the straight magnaflow just upstream of the rear axle.
@@mgt2092 Sorry, I would post a resent clip of my mountain cruise but I don't know how to blur my speed. I can't seem to figure out pictures on here either. Guess I should accept it and gets some New Balances soon 😆
Yea well, I'd rather have this CX-70 for Europe cause the CX-80 always has 3 rows. You cannot get a configuration without them, nor can you remove the last row so bootspace is heavily limited.
Some subtle differences, like the lack of chrome in favor of blacked out trim on the CX-70, and more underfloor storage in the CX-70 (e.g., for a larger L2 220/240-volt charging cable in the PHEV model I am getting, and around the spare tire area). In Asia, they also have a CX-60 model, but w/o a PHEV version.
Mazda logic is this: No 3rd row in CX-60 and CX-70, must-have 3rd row in CX-80 and CX-90. Available 48-volt mild-hybrid turbo I6 (340 hp) or 68 kW full, plug-in hybrid nonturbo I4 (323 hp), both with 369 ft-lb torque (the latter from 400 rpm-that’s right, *NOT* @4,000-onward!).
Kind of disappointing to see that CX-70 can do cruise control with lane centering but CX-5, even at the highest trim with traffic jam assist, cannot... It's 2024
Dark cabin after sunset, zero mood lighting. Typical Mazda, skimping on illumination as usual. They just can't be bothered to jazz up their interiors with some decent lighting.
Check out my review of the 2025 Mazda CX-70! th-cam.com/video/k_jSFjjIl-Q/w-d-xo.html
The interior is quite nice
Yup, Mazda did great job with it
Very interesting spec, I really like it!

Thanks!
It's called ambient lighting! And I totally agree. Only drawback of an otherwise flawless interior.
Beautiful car! I want a smaller but just as luxurious and powerful version
I know, right?! The CX-60 that is offered in Europe and Asia would be perfect
Im in love 😃
Wait no interior lights? Wow damn it is a cheaper BMW. 😅😂 nice interior but no interior lights is a no no. Even MDX has lights. 😅

Yup, that was the inline-6 with the pumped in engine noise
You should here mine with a magna flow exhaust.
@@clintmathis6576sounds good, is that the 12265 single in dual out magnaflow? Post more clips when you can.

pretty loud inside ?
Iam your big fan
@@Bd_carz thank you!
Are you using GoPro camera?
If so, which version?
@@blackcyborg009 Yup - HERO11 Black
So, no multi color interior ambient led lighting? That's a miss in 2024!
What mode(s) Did you have the Automatic in?
Just comfort, sport, and manual
cool
So it's just a CX90 without third row of seats? And Europe gets a CX80... confusing

Bro!!! The point of a night drive video is to show interior lighting. No other reason. But that doesn’t mean the interior light. As in the lamp? No no

It's a 2025 model. Maybe the 2025 cx5 will? I'm not sure, I went from a 2014 Mazda 3 2.5, to a 21 CX-30 2.5 T, then got the CX-70 Premium S HO

I hate that obnoxious beeping sound when the engine is running and you close the doors
Mandatory seat belt chime.. it goes away after a few but reminds you periodically because, you know, the govt.
