Black Gospel church on a Sunday is the closest thing we get to Heaven while here on Earth. Everything about this video is fire. From the crowd, the choir, musician interaction. It's magical.

Arthur, in San Francisco, seriously considering finding a new instrument to play. Notice the other Bass player just put his instrument down, down and turned over !

I worked with a mostly white Christian church for a couple years and I have to say. Black churches look like 100000000 times more fun to attend and perform for. Worship you can feel to your soul with music like this. Amazing playing, amazing music. Amazing vibe.
@kenfontenot Maybe so, but the black churches still look like more fun to me. It's just my opinion. Thanks for sharing your historical knowledge and feelings as well however. As a musician that enjoys rhythm and the vibe of the above video, I stand by my message even 10 years later.
I agree, I also point out that from the beginning Sharay's presentation was intense until the end! That's what I like to see! for he was aware of everything he was doing. Nowadays, I don't know if he would be able to do that... because the producers are in the ear by the talkback saying: less note... This takes all the shine out of the presentation.
I've watched a lot of bass videos but keeps coming back to this monumental moment in bass playing. It just gives me a stank face everytime I hear it even though I've heard it a hundred times already.

Sharay is really one of my most favourite bassplayers who put lot in the mix, because of how he stay clean and in pocket, all that excelent groove and choise of tones, wow, wow, much respect
