Google maps tells me to 'go straight ahead to stay on Broadway'. At that point, the only other option would a U-turn. I don't get it. I also don't get why it sent me directly into a road closure, then asked me 'oh, is this road closure still in effect?' Yes it fkn is you piece of… I know that particular route and don't need help. I only had it on to warn me about any road closures or heavy traffic, because we'd had storms recently. Utterly failed at its job.

Driver is not OK. He is either under the influence of something, falling asleep at the wheel, or was on the phone. I believe in stricter rules for truck drivers. Go to a truck stop and watch some fools drive, and watch their actions in the parking lot, and have a conversation with one. There is some idiots that don't need to have CDLs.
In the old days whenever i saw something like this id assume it was drugs and/or alcohol. Now i just assume it's an idiot on a cell phone. I'm usually right. However, drugs and alcohol are also involved sometimes.
It only take one moment of diverted attention . . . . . . . . Just reaching to change a radio station or adjust the heater controls, then you look up and . . . . . Your day went from Bad to Worse. Nobody hurt, probably not much damage, except to the driver's pride :-).

My guess is, loss of brakes and with a curve ahead maybe he thought it was better to drive into the soft soil rather than wrap the truck around a tree but then I’m just guessing.
