Good job Will. I'm a beginner leather crafter and almost OCD sometimes. I have to keep telling myself some of these things will get better over time with much practice so thanks for making us feel a bit better about our work 😊

One of the several ‘motivational notices’ I have posted around my bench is, “Done is better than Perfect”.
Without that attitude I really wouldn’t ever get anything done.

Without getting things wrong you’d never learn anything. The old saying learn from mistakes is try for a reason

I really like that phrasing. I struggle to finish projects because I'm too scared of making mistakes. I'm going to post that in my workspace as well. Thanks!

This is something I need to follow. Every time I make something, I keep pointing out what I perceive as major faults (a stitch slightly out of line, a spot where when I was tooling in a design my shakey hands went off course with the tooling by 1mm)

I really enjoy your videos. I’ve learned so much from them. If you do decide on a website, I’d like to suggest having a section with links to your videos. As to product, definitely items such as the wallets and purses/totes along with patterns for those items. For me being in the States it would cost too much to have your products shipped over but, if you provided digital patterns for what you make along with recommended leather, tools…. Again, really do enjoy your videos.

I look at every piece I make as a learning moment. Each one is better than the last. Practice cutting, stitching, finishing edges. Make one for yourself or a friend. Request feedback. Good video!

It’s the glue pot that came with my glue from Pro Atelier Plus. I drilled a hole in the lid and stuck my brush through it.

It looks like the real surgical scalpel to me. It has a whole variety of very sharp blades to choose from to fix to the handle.

It’s a surgical scalpel indeed. I like blade number 11 personally but try a few out and see which you like best

I'd really like bag patterns on your new website. Intermediate to advanced level.

For what it is worth, my guess is that your audience will be critical in deciding on what should be in your website store. Audience members who are learning the craft may not want to buy finished items, but they may be willing to buy merch and patterns. On the other hand people who watch for entertainment may really like something they have seen you make. Postage can be a real killer. I don't know the geographic distribution of your audience, but I get annoyed at postage costs out of all proportion to the item. Different goods, but I have seen manufacturered goods that postage makes the total price 2 to 3 times the cost of local purchase which shows nobody at the vendors has taken any regard for their purchasers. Download patterns avoid the tyranny of distance.

I don’t know why you find it necessary to include spurious information especially when it’s wrong.

Great insight. We should enjoy the making, not just the having made.
Re website... I like how some guys have sort of a twofold (bifold??) website: resources/materials for leatherworkers and finished products for general consumers.
Much as I'd love to have a Treve wallet, I find that my wallet is perhaps the most dependable piece of advertising for my brand. I can always depend on having my wallet to a potential buyer! Even if they aren't interested in a wallet, they can see that I'm not a (total) hack.
Though I'd guess that not everyone shares that view, so you should definitely have your goods up online! I'd love to see them.
