    Perfect timing! I’ll be going to Korea in 3 weeks for my year-long study abroad, so this is great information 🤗
    When you said deodorant was a myth I instantly regretted the 3 backups I just bought, but then you clarified anti-perspirant which is what I use, so my purchase wasn’t in vain 😅

      It’s an important distinction! lol but honestly is there even such a thing as too much deodorant/anti-perspirant?
      It’s so exciting that you’ll be living here soon! Even if it just for a year, it’ll be a fantastic one. I promise!!🤗

    Would love like “tall girl struggles” in Korea, I’m 175cm and applying next year so really trying to prepare myself. Love the videos 🥰

      lol - yes it is quite the collection. It’s mostly pictures with friends, notes and drawings from my students, and then a few takeout menus as well! A good mix 😇😅

    Hi! just found you channel absolutely love you content. I was wondering if you could make a video about the types of interview questions you were asked from the Hagwon interviews? it would be so helpful because i have seen videos about the Epik interview questions but not as much for Hagwons

      I can definitely make a video like that. Thank you so much for requesting it. I am filming a bunch of hagwon stuff this weekend - so I will add this to the list!

      Ahhhh so exciting! It is can be stressful picking what stays and what goes. I had to call some girlfriends over to help me make the tough cuts lol

    Hey Camille can you do a packing list video of what to bring for teaching in Korea! Like more in depth of clothes school supplies, seasonal stuff that's maybe hard to find there!!

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Vivian~
      I would love to make a video like this but it wouldn’t be very long lol. You don’t need to worry about bringing any school supplies, everything work related will be covered by your school. In terms of seasonal clothing, just make sure you have a heavier coat for winter and some breathable fabrics for the humid summers. Anything you need but forgot to bring can be bought here. Even if it is hard to find in person, they’ve got tons of options for online shopping (Korean and International) with super speedy delivery too!

    also, where did you buy your hair tools like flat irons, hairdryers, etc. in Korea? does emart or daiso have them? ty

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! I bought mine at LoHBs - it like a cosmetics/drug store. There is another one called Olive Young that has them as well. These stores are everywhere just like a daiso or emart :)

    can i apply through a hagwon or epik if i have a 3 years bachelors degree as well as a tefl ?

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I highly suggest you confirm this with EPIK or the Hagwon you are applying to (lol), but yes - I believe a three-year Bachelor's Degree + TEFL is the minimum requirement for applying to teach in Korea. As long as your Bachelor's Degree is complete it shouldn't matter if it is three or four years👍

      Why yes - yes it is lol I pulled a bunch of pages out of a magazine to add some colour to my plain walls. Fortunately, he had a shoot in that issue!

    It’s so frustrating as flights from the US can have two hold suitcases, whereas most other countries, like the UK you get one, like your going on holidays for two weeks, gonna cry 😭:)

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wait?! You can't pay for an extra bag? 😟 I couldn't cope. lol

      Delta is only allowing me 1 bag so I have to pay for the 2nd one :(
