      I'm from Uruguay, and as for the studying method I don't even know myself 😅 If you mean to study Korean what I've been really enjoying lately is using the book "your first hanja guide" by TTMIK to study vocabulary. Everything makes so much sense now that I know were words come from 😄 I would highly recommend it

    • @ForeignerHere
      @ForeignerHere  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t know for sure because that depends on the country’s regulations about pets (you should be able to find it in the official immigration website or sth like that) but if you are coming to do the Korean language year (in which you have to stay in dorms regardless of your choice) or directly to uní but to the dorms as well, then no, you wouldn’t be able to bring it. No pets of any kind are allowed in university

    Hola!! Una preguntilla:
    ¿Cuanto tarda en llegar el dinero? Y si tarda mucho ¿Cuanto recomendarías llevar para los primero días?

    • @ForeignerHere
      @ForeignerHere  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cuanto demore depende de la universidad que te toque. Por ejemplo aca en Silla la encargada de los KGSP siempre nos paga tarde (aun no recibimos el dinero de septiembre) pero en otros lados lo tienen mas temprano. Generalmente el dinero extra de tu llegada lo estaras recibiendo en el segundo mes o algo asi. En cuanto a la cantidad, nosotros tuvimos que hacer cuarentena obligatoria por dos semanas y no pagamos nada de comida o dormitorio por ese tiempo, por eso no fue tanto. Yo diria que tal vez al rededor de 300 USD o algo asi estaria bien

    Hey ! this is really helpful thank you for this✌ but i have a question..
    I didn't have any awards or certificates cuz i'm kind of shy person till my 11th standard so i didn't take part in anything will it be a negative point for me over others because there are more candidate who is having a lot of awards n certificates... n this thing is bothering me...could you help me please that how can i improve my CV as i am in 12th now..

    • @ForeignerHere
      @ForeignerHere  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awards do give you a plus, as does anything you can add, but if you don't have any and still your profile is strong I wouldn't stress to much about it. Of course it also depends on your country and how many people apply so it is hard to give you a definitive answer

    Hello Foreigner Here, first of all thank you for making videos and exerting efforts for the aspiring KGS scholars like me. I'm from the Philippines and KGS application for this year has not yet open but I'm anticipating it. Before the application started, I will be very grateful if you can enlighten me for the following questions:
    1. I am an orphan child - my parents died when I was 1 year old. According to the application guidelines, applicant must submit certificate of citizenship both from the applicant and his/her parents. In my case, I don't have my parents' (father and mother) birth certificates, they're already died and haven't met them both but I live with my Aunt since their departures. Question: considering my case, what should I do?
    2. In selecting preferred universities, does it matter on the chances of being accepted as KGS scholar or it is equal for all universities?
    3. In reference to the application guidelines also, it says all documents must be in A4 size paper, what should I do with my diploma, transcripts and other documents that are not or cannot be in A4 size due to the nature of their contents and how they are made by different issuing institutions?
    4. In your own opinion, does having a proficiency score matters, i.e. will increase the chance of being chosen for the interview?
    Thank you for reading these questions and million thanks for answering them.

    • @ForeignerHere
      @ForeignerHere  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, to answer your first question I would first of all tell you to check on the guidelines carefully and also ask the embassy if you can because I'm not completely sure, but I think the death certificate will be enough proof and if you don't have that either maybe you can present the proof of citizenship of your legal guardian an not your parents. As for the second question, no, it is not equal. Each university has some specific requirement or quality they expect to see in the candidate so it depends in each case. In the case of the documents you can paste or clip to an A4 sheet any document that is smaller and fold any other that is bigger because they will not accept it if it is not A4 sized. And as for the last question, again it depends on your country, the university you want to apply, etc , but of course if you have any certificate of proficiency your profile will be much better than other who don't so that or anything that proof you are a qualified individual helps.
      Hope I was able to answer everything you needed!

      @@ForeignerHere Thank you for the answers. One last thing, what type of awards should I include in my application (like certificates, etc?)

    • @ForeignerHere
      @ForeignerHere  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I personally didn't include any awards myself but I guess that if you do have some certificate of a course or event you participated on which is related to your major or if you won any competition or thing like that maybe it will be a good idea to add them as your awards.
