    I plan to buy ALL my undergarments before I go, I don’t think I would be able to find my size. The struggle is real! Thanks for the video!

      Sounds like a plan! Remember you can always ship things in too. 😇
      It can take time, depending on where it comes from, but so far I’ve never had to pay duty or import fees!!

    It is true that there are some Korean guys who use those words and want riding things. But I think, such men are everywhere.
    Indeed, there some foreign guys who are looking for Asian girls for one night stand in Korea. They think Asian girls are very easy, submissive and are dippy about western guys.
    So please don't think only Korean men are like that.

      Hey Chandler,
      I agree with you 100%. It is *definitely* not just Korean men - I experienced it in North America just as much. I thought it was valuable to share the slang for it though because new foreigners might not be aware of the term. 👍
      While, unfortunately, there are shitty people in all corners of the world, there are also amazing people (men & women) too!

      Fboy are everywhere but the term "white horses" are used by korean men to refer to sleeping with white women as we seem easy to them,like she said ,it's easy to tell if a boy is fboy usually but the problem with korean men it's hard,they can be very nice to you and have sweet dates but then when they get what they want they will vanish into thin air

      @@fatisummer9106 this ^^
      From the get-go I am usually treated much more sweetly and romantically by Korean guys. In Canada, I can smell a fboi a mile away, here it seems a lot easier to be duped.

    Thongs are not common in Korea. They are called “T-panties” (according to another Korean expat TH-camr, Busan Basics). You can get them from Aerie and they ship to Korea!

    When I was there as a student, my friends and I would avoid public restrooms as much as we could especially in the subway Bc of the cam stories .... also I can relate to the restrooms! Also a lot you need a code & some have both M & F stalls within same room idk if you’ve encountered those... I was always so confused and hesitant to go in.

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ahaha The first time I walked out of the stall and there was a man using an open urinal beside me - I nearly died. Thought I had gone into the wrong one!
      Great additions! Thank you 😍I feel like I have started to grow accustomed to some things, like the door code, and forget to share about them!

    lol for the bra sizes those are the international bra sizes, it's just because we use centimeters instead of inches. That's why it is usually in the range you stated in the video. The number signifies the measurement of your under bust in cm
    Good luck!

    • @CamilleBlais

    @opheliabunn6670 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    We have 75-100 A-D here too; i think it's just 70cm- 100 cm. It's inches converted to cm. Hopefully this makes sense haha. For example a 85C would be a 32C; it just band size in inches vs cm!

    Just subbed and was binge watching/listening to your contents as English listening material and this came along. Jesus Christ lady I am sorry for what you went through, especially that "horse" shite. I thought that slang was long dead cause it was used during my dad's generation, didn't even thought that it was still around.
    Hope you would have much better experience living in South Korea to cover those shite up and make entire stay "Good enough" even considering the flaws.

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aha - Unfortunately it is still around.😅 But I don't let it bother me!

    Tho i was there for just few months.....yes I avoided using public toilets -which i do mostly cos of my OCD!
    I carried my diva cup with me :-P
    But ya I cudnt find even a sweater/tops cos I am a 36EE...the sizes were max M or maybe L I donno but I need XL and XXL which I didnt find in the shopping areas..maybe branded stores had them I donno..I was just trying some cheap shopping :D I managed to get a jacket tho -oversized I guess but it was fine!
    Ya the other things on the list - I hear ya! ;-) Cheers and stay safe!

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So true!! It can be really hard to find anything other than free size if your shopping in Hongdae or at the subway vendors like gotomall. I gave up on that a long time ago lol. A lot of the stuff I buy now is just from North American stores like Zara 🥲
      Stay safe as well 💕
      Ps. I never much liked using public toilets before either lol

      Yes! Most neighbourhoods have community groups on facebook. It is a great way to find foreigner friendly services (doctor, dentist, tutors, PTs, etc) and meet new people. The best translator app for general conversations is called Papago. Google translate is not good at picking up nuance in everyday conversations. I hope this helps🥰

      No need to apologize! Its definitely not everyone - but there are a few people out there that still have those kind of ideas towards foreigners.
