It’s not simple. Bishop Strickland has a heart for the purity of the church. However, the radical right Catholic media has become a weapon for schism and he is listening to them. There’s lots of fake media surrounding Pope Francis, however, there are things he has done which cause confusion. So it’s both. But we must rest in Christ. He has His church.

I saw an interview with an Orthodox Priest and he was asked if the Orthodox Church was going to make changes to accommodate the alphabet community and the Priest said "what makes you think we have the authority to redefine what sin is?" Best answer ever to the modern twisting of peoples world view. I'm not Roman Catholic but I support Bishop Strickland and all Church leaders that stand against evil and the normalizing of sin.

Religion is a man’s set of ideas….and many many times it contradicts God teachings. Were you taught to lay hands on the sick, and cast out devils? But…Mark 16:15-18 tells you something different. Matthew 10:6-8….it’s a command to a believer to take up where Jesus left off and finish His work. Catechuman The conversation about the TLM filled me with horror. What Bishop Strickland said in his comparison between the TLM and Novus Ordo Mass was both sacrilegious and heretical. Further, considering that he has spent his whole life saying the Novus Ordo Mass, he has betrayed everything he has ever stood for. You need to be very careful of the voices that you listen to as you take this wonderful step in your life. Incidentally, though the Bishop continually talks about the "deposit of faith"? When asked directly what it was by Glen Beck? He proved himself a charlatan and to be utterly clueless. He had no idea what it was. Simply, it is the "deposit" fully revealed by the time the last apostle died. Nothing more. Everything else depends on that.

Strickland stated that he was visited by the papal nuncio who "read several pages of issues and concerns." He was asked the follow up question: "Was that the Papal decree that they sent you?" To which he responded "Yes." How more "official" does he need? Incidentally, note how he throws both Pope Francis and his fellow bishops under the bus by falsely stating that he was fired for saying "truth doesn't change"? That is what they all believe. Strickland seems to think he has a monopoly on truth. But he is a longwinded bore. Who has lied so much he can't keep his story straight.
Many of us growing up in South Africa during the 1960's had schooling in a Catholic Convent as there were so many missionaries here then. The Latin Mass was truly a Supernatural experience. I miss those days😢
It's not just the language. It's the adoration and awe in God is there. In the current mass, 99% it's not. Clapping, banal music, jeans in the sanctuary, priests telling bad jokes, etc. Etc. Etc.

What's important I truly belief that as long as the true fundamental consecrating is not altered the "style" in irrelevant. That's what I don't understand why Latin Mass would be encouraged or just allow. We are all in our own journey. Holy Spirit increase our Faith.

I was blessed to have a Mother and Father deeply rooted in Catholic Faith who insisted I get a good Catholic education. I was blessed a second time to have Italian relatives the same. Again blessed a third time by Nuns who taught me from Grade school to High School and to an all Catholic Girls College. Loved every minute of it. The youngsters today, 2024, are searching and don’t even know what they are searching for. They need Jesus in their lives. If they put Him first then all else will fall in place.

I am staying and I pray that Christ will give me the strength to ride out the storm or die if necessary for his Church. Satan is only for a short time, Christs Church is forever. I now go to the Traditional Mass because i find that Christ is very much there and until he shows himself again it is where i will remain. I think Bishop Strickland appears to have forgotten that the Pope is the leader of the church. I think the Bishop would be more comfortable in a Protestant church with no pope. The Bishop is a clever man in some ways, in that he is sharing clear messages that the church hold and claiming them as his own and at the same time subtly twisting other messages in an attempt to destabilise the church. Luckily the pope is wiser and cleverer than him and understands the game he is playing. Ultimately, he repeats “it’s all about Jesus” “follow Jesus” but his hidden message is actually “follow me”

@laurenandrushko4371 Yes, I know many conservative Catholics who feel the same way. And many are leaving the Church because of it. I would highly recommend checking out Michael Lofton. So much of what is reported is a lie. The devil is working hard to separate Catholics from His Bride, the Church. Satan knows he can't separate the Head from the Body, so he's working hard to separate the faithful Body members from the Visible Head (the Pope).

Michelle He is an "amazing shepherd" all right. He spends years banging on about the "deposit of faith" and when asked directly what is meant by that? He reveals himself to be utterly clueless. His remarks in comparing the TLM with Novus Ordo Mass are both sacrilegious and heretical. Thankfully, Pope Francis stepped in and removed him before he does even more damage to the Church, the Body of Christ.

For anyond wondering about the Traditional Latin Mass, if I had to put it in a nutshell, it takes the focus off the people and back on God, where it belongs. By the nature of this focus, it is more solemn, more reverent, more about what we owe to God, as our Creator, and Jesus, as our Savior. Attending TLM completely changed my life, and I have practiced my faith since birth. I am far more aware of how immense God's mercy is now than I ever was before. Why did I leave the Novus Ordo? For years my soul cried out for reverence and an escape from worship that was more Protestant than Catholic in its attitudes, its postures, and oof! Its music. Lex orandi lex credendi!

When Glen Beck made the false statement at the opening of the interview that the bishop was "never given an answer" as to why he was fired, the Bishop, who knew the truth, failed to correct the record. He stated that he was never "officially" informed, which was in fact another lie. According to his own words on ETWN, November 16th, he said he received a visit from the Papal Nuncio who ”read several pages of issues and concerns.” If a visit from the Papal Nuncio is not "official," I don't know what is. How do you square "several pages" of reasons then, with "never given an answer" now? You can't. As to how he has slandered the Pope? I can refer to the past, in which he approvingly read a "letter from a friend" which described the Pope as a "usurper" on the Chair of Peter. This was a very underhand way of getting his own view across, because by reading this with approval, he was giving it his imprimatur, so to speak. But if he had actually stated this himself? He'd be automatically excommunicated, though the Pope is a tad slow on making those excommunications official. In this interview, when he knew better, he stated he was removed because he said "truth doesn't change." But the Pope, and his fellow bishops also believe this. Why are they not fired, by Strickland's "logic"? Finally, he stated that "There is really an agenda clearly from the Vatican and from Pope Francs to say the truth is changed.” There is no such thing, beyond his rather fertile imagination.
I support Bishop Strickland and his stand for Biblical truth. He is a brave and righteous man. Thanks Glenn Beck for sharing this wonderful interview. We are at a crossroads in America these days.

The conversation about the TLM filled me with horror. What Bishop Strickland said in his comparison between the TLM and Novus Ordo Mass was both sacrilegious and heretical. Further, considering that he has spent his whole life saying the Novus Ordo Mass, he has betrayed everything he has ever stood for.

No James, he was degrading either style of celebrating the Mass. No more than I would have said one form is more uplifting or reverent. What's important I truly belief that as long as the true fundamental consecrating is not altered the "style" in irrelevant. That's what I don't understand why Latin Mass would be encouraged or just allow. We are all in our own journey. Holy Spirit increase our Faith.

This interview between Bishop Strickland and Glenn Beck should be heard by all Catholics. Soo many confused Catholics. I was blessed to have a Mother and Father deeply rooted in Catholic Faith who insisted I get a good Catholic education. I was blessed a second time to have Italian relatives the same. Again blessed a third time by Nuns who taught me from Grade school to High School and to an all Catholic Girls College. Loved every minute of it. The youngsters today, 2024, are searching and don’t even know what they are searching for. They need Jesus in their lives. If they put Him first then all else will fall in place.

As a Catholic and all that is going on in the Church, i believe my Faith is tested even more than ever before. It would be easier to leave the Church for what is happening but i do not serve Satan, I serve Christ and just as Satan tempted Christ to jump off the mountain he is also tempting Catholics to run from Christs Church. I am staying and I pray that Christ will give me the strength to ride out the storm or die if necessary for his Church. Satan is only for a short time, Christs Church is forever. I now go to the Traditional Mass because i find that Christ is very much there and until he shows himself again it is where i will remain. The fact that there are those within the Church that are trying to ban the Traditional Mass shows just how much it frightens Satan. Viva Christo Rey

I think Bishop Strickland appears to have forgotten that the Pope is the leader of the church. I think the Bishop would be more comfortable in a Protestant church with no pope. The Bishop is a clever man in some ways, in that he is sharing clear messages that the church hold and claiming them as his own and at the same time subtly twisting other messages in an attempt to destabilise the church. I've been in the Catholic church for over 37 years and recieved my sacraments over 31 years ago by choice. The Catholic church always stood strong with its beliefs and now the Pope has opened a door to a slippery slope of leftist wokeness into our sacred church. So much of what is reported is a lie. The devil is working hard to separate Catholics from His Bride, the Church. Satan knows he can't separate the Head from the Body, so he's working hard to separate the faithful Body members from the Visible Head (the Pope).
Also, Lofton has already done a video looking at the conversation Glenn had with Taylor Marshall, if you're interested. I imagine he'll have a video on this interview, too.

What "error" is he actually "correcting" Joseph? He is making false statements, false assertions and falsely implying others are in error while he himself is standing for "truth" but he lied right from the very beginning of this interview.
He is incredibly deceptive, in how he skirts the truth when not outright lying. When asked "why he was fired,"
He responded: “I've spoken out and said the truth doesn’t change. That’s the reason I needed to be removed.”
This is a lie. This is not the reason he was removed. In making this statement, he implies his fellow bishops who are not fired believe otherwise. No, they don't. He further stated that:
There is really an agenda clearly from the Vatican and from Pope Francs to say the truth is changed.”
That is also a lie.
When asked if he was ever told "officially" why he was fired, he said "no."
But this contradicts a previous statement he made on November 16th, in an interview on ETWN with Raymond Arroyo where he clearly stated that he was visited by the papal nuncio who "read several pages of issues and concerns.”
If a visit from the Papal Nuncio is not "official" I don't know what is. What do you bet "the truth doesn't change" wasn't listed in those pages?

For anyond wondering about the Traditional Latin Mass, if I had to put it in a nutshell, it takes the focus off the people and back on God, where it belongs. By the nature of this focus, it is more solemn, more reverent, more about what we owe to God, as our Creator, and Jesus, as our Savior.
Attending TLM completely changed my life, and I have practiced my faith since birth. I am far more aware of how immense God's mercy is now than I ever was before.
Why did I leave the Novus Ordo? For years my soul cried out for reverence and an escape from worship that was more Protestant than Catholic in its attitudes, its postures, and oof! Its music. Lex orandi lex credendi!
Jesus is living in you Bishop Strickland...What they did to Him is happening to you. I'm so grateful for being a genuine witness. You're faith is a gift and is an encouragement. Be assured of my continued prayers. Thank you for bringing hope.

He slandered and lied his way through this interview, slandering not just the Pope but by implication, his fellow bishops, for one. I'm surprised you missed it. Seems kind of obvious.
Let's begin. When Glen Beck made the false statement at the opening of the interview that the bishop was "never given an answer" as to why he was fired, the Bishop, who knew the truth, failed to correct the record. He stated that he was never "officially" informed, which was in fact another lie.
According to his own words on ETWN, November 16th, he said he received a visit from the Papal Nuncio who ”read several pages of issues and concerns.”
If a visit from the Papal Nuncio is not "official," I don't know what is. How do you square "several pages" of reasons then, with "never given an answer" now? You can't.
As to how he has slandered the Pope? I can refer to the past, in which he approvingly read a "letter from a friend" which described the Pope as a "usurper" on the Chair of Peter. This was a very underhand way of getting his own view across, because by reading this with approval, he was giving it his imprimatur, so to speak. But if he had actually stated this himself? He'd be automatically excommunicated, though the Pope is a tad slow on making those excommunications official.
In this interview, when he knew better, he stated he was removed because he said "truth doesn't change." But the Pope, and his fellow bishops also believe this. Why are they not fired, by Strickland's "logic"? Finally, he stated that "There is really an agenda clearly from the Vatican and from Pope Francs to say the truth is changed.”
There is no such thing, beyond his rather fertile imagination.
I support Bishop Strickland and his stand for Biblical truth. He is a brave and righteous man. Thanks Glenn Beck for sharing this wonderful interview. We are at a crossroads in America these days.
