One of my favorite Movies !!! Sidewinder 1 !!! GR8 'B' movie with some really fun scenes and cool classic bikes !!!! I like Wyatts Privateer Maico.... Pentons, Yamaha's, Can-Am's CZ's Kawasaki's, Honda's, Suzuki's, Bultaco's, Ossa's , Man - The Gamut of mid to late 70's MX bikes And of course the Husqvarna that acted the character of Sidewinder 1...!Classics!!! Michael Parks , Susan Howard, Marjoe Gortner, Alex Cord, Charlotte Rae , the announcer voice of Larry Huffman all great actors from that time period... The music, the surrounding scenery, the classic cars , trucks & vans , the story line....Everything about this movie is Solid Gold... Today is : 01/05/25
I remember going to the theater to see this movie in the 70s. Maico sure had a lot to do to promote their prize bikes in those days. Im also a proud owner of a Maico 250 myself.
Thanks for uploading this. I had a vhs copy converted to DVD but lost the copies and the computer with it on it. I can show my buddy a Maico with Rokon wheels now!
I dont remember ever watching this movie so i'm about to watch it. What do you mean rokon wheels? I had suzuki's and rokons. My bro and i had 2- 340 rokons and a 500 rokon. Motocross bikes not the 2 wheeled motorized scout.
I believe that 'Sidewinder-1' was a Husky (Husqvarna -250)...The bike that Wyatt was running as a privateer before meeting Packard Gentry, was what I believe , a Maico... Fleming on a Penton...Names that Haven't been heard of in a very long time (45-50 years ago)...One of the coolest 'B' movies that was ever made... Imported , from the Late 70's... Today is : 01/05/25
First thing, I watched on HBO, great film, always remembered the murder on the track, Caucasian exploitation film with plenty of heart, and that Susan Howard, was one Texas beauty,
Michael Parks doing his best Jack Nicholson look! He was also in From Dusk til' Dawn, the cop in the store that Tarantino and Clooney stopped at and shot everybody. He's a classic.
Saw it in a drive in theater when it came out. It was so horrible, I've been emotionally scarred all these years. I mean, Marjoe Gortner?.....and real footage of actual racing didn't match the bikes used in theories. And Michael Parks was a bit old for the part....
So watch her in a fine, ripped blu-ray version of 'Moonshine County Express' (1977) with a great cast (John Saxon, Claudia Jennings, Dub Taylor, William "Cannon" Conrad, Morgan Woodward, Jeff Corey, Albert Salmi, all dead...and a certain 16-year-old Maureen McCormick of 'The Brady Bunch'): th-cam.com/video/aSwWUsSeZjA/w-d-xo.html

LOL those bumps at 16:00 are smaller than the ones on the kiddy tracks today.
TCM bought this flick in 2001, and it's never been released on DVD/BD.
This movie still gives me nightmares....
its the guy from then came bronson......even has the same watch cap
That would be Michael Parks, who died in 2017, aged 77. A fine character actor.

Music by Mundell Lowe! Many thanks, my father wrote the score for this cult flick in the late 70's!!
And for Woody Allen's 1972 'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask'...
Who was your dad.

Super rare
Team hurricane
The racing and riding were lame....boring...they never heard of watering a track or in most cases a trail through the woods?
