- Here it is, the second episode of my 'Dakar Diaries' @officialDakar 2023
Getting the first couple of days under my belt, I was looking forward to the Rally starting properly on January 1st. But first of all, Prologue Day. Sorry, about the audio!
Part 3 next week, where I get the first full stage out of the way and wonder what on earth have I taken on!

Loving the personal insight into it Dakar Malle experience just awesome….👍 and thank god you can read a road book over seeing a big orange flag saying ‘refuel’ ;-) but can see how you can get distracted with so much to take in, congrats again 🏍💨✊

@@jameshillierracing without a shadow of a doubt, it’s incredible you can ride that fast and follow the road book I’d be falling off at every dune and camel grass!

Great video James. The Bivouac is like a small town. Wonder what the population number of it is.
There are close to 4,000 people in a bivouac, including competitors, mechanics, team staff, rally officials, medical staff and press representatives. (according to Google)
