    Lyrics:
Shallow graves and deepest fears, No one tells me why I’m here
Leather straps on stapled eyes, gotta scream to cut your ties
Can’t subtract from Adderall, pull you in before you fall
Not as sweet as it appears…. Someone tell me why I’m here
    Ooh, you know I’m gone
Ooh, you go- I’m onto you now
All they want is your control, for the Bible scares me so
Smell the ones who came here last, must’ve lost the game too fast
We don’t read between the lines, cut too deep to see the signs
Watch me as my blood runs cold- Now your Bible can take hold
    Ooh, you know I’m gone
Ooh, you go- I’m onto you now
    Ooh, you know I’m gone
Ooh, you go- I’m onto you now
    I’m onto you
Which side do I want to be
This side’s got a hold on me
Don’t try this home for me now
(Slide away from thoughts and prayers the easy way)
    Ooh, you go… I’m onto you now…
    Ooh, you go… I’m onto you now…

@@wilson9d71 different doesn’t mean bad either. If Slipknot recreated Iowa over and over again, not only would it eventually become boring but Slipknot also wouldn’t be where they are today. A lot of Slipknots biggest hits are “The Devil In I”, “Before I Forget”, “Psychosocial”, “Duality” and so on. They’re gonna keep trying new things with every song and I applaud them for it. I love when you can hear a band explore all their interests. When you're the kind of professional musicians these guys are, they will take you on a journey if you allow them to. Feeling and critical thought are always going to be apart of it. Whether individual members have personal issues ongoing can obviously play a major role. Drastic turn on this song. Love the elements. It is 70s prog rock to the fullest and on top of that it's relaxing, it's chill, and it takes you to a different dimension. Certainly one of the more unique tracks they've ever created and a perfect opener for the album to set the tone for the rest of the experimentation they've pulled off in addition to the songs on here that most represent their classic style.

This isn’t Jazz, you wanna hear Slipknot with real Jazz influences, listen to their earliest work. “Mate Feed Kill Repeat” was their first album & it has tons of funk & jazz elements
