I find this to be an OK album. This and hive mind are the best tracks. This song does feel like the end of an era. And the fact that it is Shawn in the the video just makes sense. He is the mastermind behind slipknot...
I don't understand the folks wanting this to sound like all the other albums. We already have those. Slipknot making new music that sounds "different" just draws in more types of fans and I personally love all of it since day one. No matter what your mood they have a song for that!
As a young fan who loves to headbang the shit out of Self-titled and Iowa, this album is freaking awesome, it's just about having an open mind and appreciate shades of Slipknot that we haven't seen before.

Roadrunner will surely miss Slipknot. This was their biggest signed band for sure. Even other bands signed to the label complained about how much attention the label put on them.
I know, Corey has said as much too. But in terms of the 'Roadrunner era' or the '7 album contract' (whatever you want to call it), it's a beautiful ending. Fitting as well that Clown is the visualizer for this song, the 'Knot's been his baby since day one with Joey and Paul, God rest their souls.
The whole song is amazing, but the last minute blew my mind. It really felt like a farewell, I felt the entire Slipknot career pass through my existence.

Idk why but when this song ended I start crying with how beautiful how atmospheric it sounded near the end and how it reminded me of the journey of this album, the way this album is structured and just how different it is just amazes me and I’m so happy I enjoyed everything from it. OK, so after listening the whole album I can, definitely say that this is the best Slipknot album. It has such an unique melancholic Silent Hill-esque and Opeth-esque atmosphere mixed with death/thrash metal guitars and lovely psychedelic art rock passages. This is pure art!

This is my mind right now. A mess of things I couldn’t describe or begin to put into words if I was to open up to anyone about how I’m feeling but this song does it well. Slipknot is an unstoppable machine. Mixing words and melodies in a way that unleashes inner demons and puts them to rest.
The feel of this song is like a great movie ending. Reflection of the places you been, the people you've met, everything you've done and went through out the years, the good and bad times. What an album. A great mix of everything after Iowa with some nods to the classic stuff. I love how unique it still is to other Slipknot stuff and other music in general. The guitars and drumming are very reminiscent of AHIG and Vol.3 and the scratching and sampling similar to T.G.C. with vocals from WANYK. Absolutely great for me.
It's an evolution for the band isnt it? Like its sprinkles of some of the other albums, but it goes in uncharted territory for them, and its pulled off so well
Man, I love the pizzicato strings in this song, they add a magical and familiar aura to an already beatiful song. One of the best Slipknot has ever made, in my opinion. And Sid's scratches, the guitar at 2:19, so different instruments working so perfectly together. And the choir at the end... the cherry on the cake. It's in songs like this one where this band really shines and reveals what great musicians they really are.

I love the evolution of this band. I was around 21 when the first record took the world by storm and the freedom to experiment your currently expressing is beautiful! Спасибо ребятам, вы лучшие. Искренне надеюсь что группа продолжит свое творчество и будет дальше радовать людей своей музыкой.

Translation: Slipknot was the first nu metal band I listened to, and to be honest, I don't regret that it became my favorite. This album is exactly the combination that I wanted to find for so long. Thanks guys, you are the best. I sincerely hope that the band will continue its work and continue to delight people with its music.

Slipknot has been one of the frankly few bands from back in the day that, when they release a new album, it's something to get excited about, you know it will (usually) be good in a specific way that makes them stand apart.

Corey Taylor is a genius beyond most listeners comprehension from a writing perspective especially his use of oxymorons "tangled knots"

Absolutely love the bass at the beginning, the dark tones throughout the song and the creppy factor; the lyrics really hit deep. Finale and the Dying song r definitely my favorites off the album.

I love the evolution of this band. I was around 21 when the first record took the world by storm and the freedom to experiment your currently expressing is beautiful! Nothing better than an artist willing to travel unfamiliar roads and genuinely express the depth of there musicianship and artistic curiosity. Brilliant!
