Lyrics:
Put Your Hands Into The Water- Let Your Mouth Go Sick And Dry
Put Your Life Into Your Death Now- Let Them Sing Until You Die
DIE!
Radical, rather than rhetorical, babble like an Oracle
Why am I always in your debt?
Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost- Communist Comatose
Show me all the wagers are a bet
The middle of a nuclear winter is a modern
Achievement of the retro apocalyptic horde
Satan, you must be mistaken, there are no more Satans
Only The Bosses on the Board
Forget Deny Ignore Nice Try It’s You
Regret Rely Remorse Inside Of You
Maybe you’ve been down too long…
The Heart Begins To Suffer When The Soul Has Given Up
And The Flesh Is Barely More Than Bone
When No One Else Is Listening- Only When You’ve Had Enough
Time To Sing This Dying Song Alone
Put Your Hands Into The Water- Let Your Mouth Go Sick And Dry
Put Your Life Into Your Death Now- Let Them Sing Until You Die
DIE!
Maybe you’ve been down too long…
Think Hard You Bastards- You’re Gonna Tell Me Why
If I Don’t Get An Answer, You’re Gonna Sing and Die
Think Hard You Bastards- You’re Gonna Tell Me Why
If I Don’t Get An Answer, You’re Gonna Sing and Die

I was 17 when I first heard Slipknot. I'm 42 now and still feel the same energy when I hear this. There's not many bands stayed with me like this.
from 13 - 30 still the greatest music to listen to!
MGK>>>
First band I saw live was Slipknot when I was aged 13 (and I'm 31 now, as I'm rediscoving my teenage infatuation for metal) - and easily a more monumental occasion than any of my other "first times" by far.
Just...what an absolutely insane concert it was (it was the Slipknot & Slayer tour, with Mastodon supporting) - first and only time I ever went crowdsurfing too 😅
I was 13 in the bus heading to middle school, when a friend of mine popped open my portable CD player and stuck Slipknots first album in. I remember it vividly. Still love the band!!
same here
Love the debut of Sid’s mask, and the fact that most of the comments I see aren’t English. These guys are massive worldwide and it’s amazing
The fact that the comments are mostly non English is amazing.
I was hoping I wasn’t the only one who realized this.
I was wondering the same thing and then I saw this comment. And it is awesome that they're so famous in South America. They deserve to be huge
clown's mask too
@@nathan.w05 this mask isn’t new, he’s used it in tour in 2021.
Bro I was laughing at your comment and seen the ones below and above aren't English just made it better 😂
The pre-chorus and chorus riffs are absolute genius. sounds like such a fresh band, there's nothing like this. Absolutely incredible.
The first Slipknot album that I ever bought was "The Subliminal Verses: Volume 3" in about 2005, and even now, Slipknot is still coming up with new riffs. 🤟
Slipknot is the only group that can make a song go from melodic to pure chaos.
Try The Nameless. It is the opposite of that. It goes from pure chaos to melodic to pure chaos to melodic again then goes into a new section.
Have you ever heard about FEAR FACTORY?
They were even more brutal, technical and faster in their prime than Slipknot. The only difference resides in the fact Fear Factory almost got no guitar soloes.

Well said.
Actually
It’s Corey fucking Taylor. He has the voice of an angel and a demon his bands will always kick ass.
I feel the same way, I also hope them many years, because their music has always been with me, I love this band so much.
I like when an album or song takes me a few listens to "get". Then there's a steady progression from "hmmm" to "okay" to "whoa" to "GOD DAM SON". Slipknot has always been that way for me. There's so much happening that you can't absorb it all without many, many listens. They still surprise me years after the fact when I finally notice a subtle texture in a song I've listened to hundreds of times.
It’s the same with me. It’s like it grows on me like a beautiful Moss. I am at the stage where I have fallen in love with this song and can not stop listening.

same, it looks absoultely terrifying in the thumbnail though oh my God.
I love how once the lyrics start, this song doesn't stop for air except for a short moment before the most intense seconds of it all.
I love how most of their masks have changed drastically, for instance Corey's whole face cover is definitely creepier, Sid just can't seem to settle on a particular style, Shawn just keeps surprising us with a new clown face, Jim cut his mask's jaw off a little more but Mick has almost never changed from his original mask :') Man I love these guys 🤘🏻
And tortilla man's is creepier and has a zipper lip know. 🤐

All their masks are evolutions on the same theme since the beginning.
Craig: "nah I'm good"
mick not changing is nice to me since he always had my favorite mask of the band
The fact these guys still have this energy into their mid-late 40's is fucking insane! What a great release!!

Can we take a moment just to appreciate how much time and effort it takes to continually evolve your sound while still maintaining a degree of the pure insanity from 25 years ago to still remain relevant and keep bringing new maggots into the family.
Dude exactly! I'm absolutely impressed by bands like Slipknot and Korn too, that they still manage to pour out this insanity and hurt into their work, and still be freaks, without "growing out of it", cause there still are people who identify with exactly this, no matter the age.
That's what I love about these people and their art.
They are not the same they were back those 25 years ago, but gladly they are not someone else entirely too. And that is perfect as it is.
this song sounds like every song they did since grey chapter lmao
@@DigitalBath306 If you’re talking about the production style then sure. But song-writing wise they experimented loads on WANYK and continue to do so. This song, Spiders & Birth Of The Cruel sound like alike, to name just 3 examples.
Continually evolve your sound? Nah, they found a sound they liked with .5 and haven't strayed much from that sound at all aside from their experimental smaller tracks in the albums. All the big tracks sound the same.
Not saying they sound bad, but this sounds very very much like the previous 2 albums.
While the first 4 albums all sounded very different from one another.
So far I’m not a big fan of these new 2 songs on the album it ain’t bad it’s just not great, but staying optimistic & hopefully on September 30th I’ll be much more please with the other songs on the album

@@DarkMustard1337 no doubt. all i want is for them to stop polishing everything down and go back to the production style of iowa. so many of their songs over the years could be tweaked and more psychotic. it would be so amazing if they sort of just dropped an album that sounds exactly like what we expected after the first two, particularly the growth on iowa. reading these comments i can tell that many of these kids don't even listen to those records as much as whatever came out closer to their teenage years. its very strange to see these comments exonerating all of their slowly growing faults. they manage to put out some great stuff... they haven't lost a bit of what they had in the beginning... except key players... which is very noticable... and are due to be replaced with more artistic people who actually share key qualities with the original members. finally, someone needs to duct tape corey's mouth shut sometimes... this overproduced melodic stone sour shit is really the only thing that they should completely ditch. its a favorite of the aforementioned kids.
@@eringursky3503 its really not that great. its powerful, he can play them. this is just metal drumming. joey played an INSTRUMENT.
The drums on this track, holy cow. Everything about this excites me for the album release.
Jay Weinberg is something else 🤘🏻👊🏻
All recent Slipknot songs song like weird riffs just thrown together. Cohesively, all the instruments/vocals just do not mesh into good songs. If a new band released this exact song, nobody would care. They're living off their fame from the older albums.
I love your anime and song reactions brother, rock on🤘🏻. If possible do a reaction to japanese rap, Hideyoshi or Ralph are good places to start!
Love your anime reactions, awesome to see your a Slipknot fan
@@syncroG60golf his dad too!
Очень приятно,что Slipknot как истинные фанаты смешариков использовали образ мистера Пина в костюме одного из своих участников
Slipknot is well known for its attention-grabbing image, aggressive style of music, and energetic and chaotic live shows. The band rapidly rose to fame following the release of their.💚🖤

Slipknot releasing new music is like a special event. We don't get this too often.
Slipknot never ceases to impress even after all this time DAMN!
¡Estallido!
7.8/10
Is this a new song? I don't listen to slipknot often.
Yes
@@UndeadAhead yes it is
This album came out while i was homeless and it got me through those rough times but they did play in Ottawa where i was at the time unfortunately never went to the concert because obviously homeless but this album is my favorite one.
Their sound is really powerful here!!!!!
Number 8 is one of the best singers I've ever heard. The range of his voice is insane and the fact that they've been rocking for over 20 years and still sound so good is legendary
Haven't heard him called number 8 since the self titled era.
@@someguy8446 if you think abt it it still makes sense as Corey Taylor is in stone sour. Slipknot is everything a band like that isn’t.
@@SKYNCVLT lol... Except Slipknot is Stone Sour now with a little "metal" thrown in to appease the sheep. Keep grazing on generic bullshit..
@@Liamhannam the sky is actually baby blue not blue.
Mike Patton is infinitely better.

How are you here
Fan of you from pakistan
See you at Bangalore Open Air this year!
Why the hell is everyone blaming corey for both Craig and Jay when no one even knows what’s going on.Also some bands go through lineup changes that lead to only one member being constant so your all hating on slipknot when 5/9 are gone.Well done
I'm blaming clown I never really liked him as a person to begin with
Because Corey and Clown run Slipknot like a business, they are the modern day Gene and Paul, if yk what I mean. I love the Knot as well, but the 2 of them are ripping the band off.
When I'm down, I put some Slipknot on and perk right up mentally and physically. 💜☠️☠️☠️💜
I don't care what the haters have to say about Slipknot, their music got me through some tough shit in life. Slipknot is a blessing 🤌
Absolutely!!! Agree with you
Just starting to get into them. Definitely agree
I agree haters keep their negative comments to themselves 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I concur
They have definitely been there for me
In my darkest days and nights
Hating on Slipknot is so 2011.
I like it a lot, it has everything on it, its melodic, its brutal, its emotional, its a headbanger... and i dont know what the heck Sid is wearing but i love it. This band keeps evolving and making history. Cant wait for the next album.
It's a very well made mask
Yea man this shit is good asf
@@aidmealexaleconaayala1758 Its, indeed, and i love it.
Very lazy single, just took shit that worked in the past and mixed it together, just like the chapeltown rag. The song itseld is alright just, done already.
You forgot…. It’s no fucking Iowa. I want the drug induced Cory that didn’t give a shit about money.
It’s very hard song. Love it
They really know how to be heavy but there transitions to some pure and beautiful music it amazing
Im a 50yr old lifelong metal fan and this band is incredible!! I saw them in Raleigh NC and it was one of the best shows Ive ever seen!! They rocked that place!! Also I saw every age, race, and type of folks imaginable and it was one big American family!! Honestly it was the most polite and well behaved crowd I've ever seen!!! METAL!!!
This is why we're slipknot maggots (:
Slipknot gives it their all for each and every concert and song. I’ve seen them twice and both times were amazing!
@@yabbadabberdoobie Slipknot picked up the metal gauntlet after my generations bands got older and softened up. Pantera led the charge through the 90's and Slipknot kept it going up until now. Their chops and songwriting are epic!! Easily one of the best metal bands of all time!!! I can't wait to see them live again!!!
@Michael Dude I think they get better with every new album!!!
Im ten and i love it
Btw im german sorry
I will always say, that Slipknot are at their best, when they mix heavy af riffs and vocals with a very decent radio rock hook on a chorus. Wait and Bleed, Left Behind, Duality, Psychosocial... I love when music is able to be both heavy and brutal and extremely catchy.
Nomadic
Same dude
Wrong. They're at their best at the absolute heaviest moments of a song. The cheesy rock choruses are their worst songs, attempting to appeal to a broader, vanilla audience. The origin of Slipknot is dark, brutal, heavy, tormented. Fucking lame casual/mainstream fans think they're just another Three Days Grace, apparently. The Heretic Anthem, (Sic), People = Shit, Skin Ticket, Eyeless, Scissors, Metabolic, Iowa, No Life > any of the radio pop songs you listed.
@@rschaffer86 on the other hand, you also have no breaks inbetween the chorus and the rest of the vocals
@@santinogirado5487 The only break needed is when the song ends.
Goddamn that Ophucian mask grabs your attention. Always needing an entire psych ward to analyze both the archetypes of the Masks & the subtext of the lyrics - with the music skirting the edge, yet somehow not devolving into cacophony. Pure genius.
[ I'll never get over how one guy can switch from metal growl to sweet melody in one second flat. ]
It's easy.
I will always love them, I will not forget how my aunt showed them to me when I was 7 years old. The truth is that after that year I couldn't find them since I didn't know their name, but it helped me overcome a possible Problem but it's over the fact is that I love them and it will never change that they are my childhood 💗💘
I can’t believe it’s been more than 20 years that I have been following slipknot. I remember when Fuse/MTV first introduced you. My older sister left it on the channel and I happened to pass by when wait and bleed played and I was instantly hooked. Had never heard metal before that moment. Never looked back.
LOVE 4 LIFE
I wish he still sang like he did in wait and bleed
Yes. This is how I felt with Pulse of the Maggots
I can’t thank you enough. You are my favorite band since I was 8. Now I’m 30 and you never failed me. You guys are the most talented and best performers in the whole universe. The only wish that I have for 22 years is to see you in person❤️🤘
I saw them twice they are amazing and definitely worth seeing in person
I definitely need to see them too!
I've seen them a bunch. They come to my city every year it seems like.
If you get a chance to see them you should go. They put on a great concert every time.
even my grandfather and father subscribed to you continue the legends of my childhood
Class!!
It must have been a hell of a fun figuring out how to make sure that the reflections of the cameras are not visible in the shots. Congrats to the videography team - hats off to you sirs, you did a great job!
I think it’s behind a two way mirror. You can see the reflection of it through out the video
OMG your right bro that would have sucked lol! but well worth the amazing Music Video😃
I absolutely love this new sound.
These guys could be 100 years old and write better songs than most of the stuff you hear today.
Ain’t that the truth.
🤟🤓
Slipknot lanzó el número 1: Joey. ¡Es jodidamente popular! ¡Vendiendo putas!
@time to leave earth finally it’s not here no
Bro wut this shit fucking sucks no offense
Nothing can destroy Corey’s vocals, he’s been screaming since the early 2000s and his voice just keeps getting better, plus the chorus on this song kicks ass 🔥
What a nice group of young people having fun
