I'm really happy that in this album Sid has again a bigger role. You could hear it two previous tracks, but this one is the best of three.
As much as Corey always talks about how the next album is “Iowa heavy” I don’t even care at this point. They’ve evolved so far beyond Iowa. I’ve had the chorus of yen stuck in my head since it came out and I can’t wait for the full album. Don’t get me wrong though….mick….James…I want to hear you guys with an 8 string
You said 8 but honestly a 7-string at this point would be great for me. Even if they tune to Drop A it means they can hit the lows while also bringing in the occasional high notes. Adds range. 8 could be cool too

The breakdown after Sid's solo is easily the best part. It gets sort of 'more slipknot' around that point. But then strays back in to the more melodic stuff. It's a nice mix between what we know slipknot for and what they are becoming/have become.

I know right? Sid's scratching solo is probably one of my favorite moments in the song. Scratching is pretty unpopular across genres that aren't Hiphop or somethin', but Sid never fails to impress. Truly an inspiration.

I actually think they're better now than back then. Their music has matured and evolved considerably from pure angst and aggression. There's a certain mood where their old albums still hit right, but on the whole I think they've grown well.

One of the best things about Slipknot, and what makes them one of the best nu metal bands, is Corey's voice. I love his voice, and how he can sound amazing singing softly, or screaming his head off.
Sid's solo was CRAZY! I don't care what anyone says, this is going in to my fave knot songs playlist.

I really enjoyed this one! Mainly the chorus. It didn't remind me of Corey from Stone Sour, but the melodic of Corey from Slipknot. Of the 3 songs released on this new album, I liked them all.

I still remember buying Slipknot's self-titled album back in my early twenties and being blown away by it. I had no idea that decades later, at forty-seven years old, I would still be listening to new Slipknot music, and I would still be blown away by it.
