With the insane growth of power hungry customers, and the difficulty and expense in expanding the existing power infrastructure and low emission generation, Karno was definitely the right way to go. Nobody is buying vehicles in meaningful numbers, let alone commercial new energy vehicles right now, dropping ERX was the best thing that happened. Pretty sure GE (still a major Hyliion investor) gave them a healthy push in the Karno only direction though.
It’s simply a case of supply and demand. Less shares on the market, share price will go higher. They had to maintain NYSE listing compliance by keeping share price above $1.00. With cash on hand, they had the unique opportunity to be able to initiate a buyback program. $6M of the $20M program remains if needed.

Less talk more sales. This stock has been a dead horse for sometime.
Hahahahahahahah 😅
This stock is headed to zero if they don't get some revenue. The CEO needs to be replaced by someone who can run Hyliion like a business. 💰
