When you run out of lives in a World, you just have to start the level over, not the whole World. So the only consequence is losing a checkpoint. Also, if you Start Over in a level instead of dying, you won’t lose a life. It’s all a bit...strange.

packblixty Pretty sure it’s not harder, the only thing that makes the mushrooms easier is the fact that they show up twice on each row, so really there’s no point in getting the flower because it gives less 1-UPs than the star and isn’t any easier to get.
