Gotham has not been renewed for season 5 yet. That statement was if it was going to be picked up. The renewal/cancellation will be announced at the fox upfront on May 14.

Cameron Monaghan is nothing short of an AMAZING actor! If he doesn't get an EMMY then something is seriously wrong.
David Molina It's been said that Cameron received a spot on the Emmy ballet, to be voted for a nomination, after he played Jerome in Season 3. But for some reason, he didn't get voted to actually be nominated for an Emmy. Award shows like that one can be stupid anyway, I've seen them pass over some excellent actors to win, in place of some lesser talented ones, imo.

He played a little kid killer when he was just a little kid himself, in 'Criminal Minds'. He's 24 now and just keeps getting better, with every role you see him in, which are various genres of characters. If you really want to see him in a truly terrifying role, watch 'Amittyville, Awakening'. 😨

For now, I still hold onto anger and resentment against the teens who didn't vote for him as 'Best Villain' a couple of years back on; 'The Teen Choice Awards', for his role as Jerome, compared to some teen girl that was on some soap opera drama show, that was on the CW. Cameron actually showed up to the event, and everything. 😛

Sam Gornall A lot of people fail to realize that ‘Gotham’ is a comic book show come to life, like a play. It’s unique. It’s meant to match the exaggerated nature that comes from comic books. The show also borrows from the Adam West kookiness of his ‘Batman’ show. The actors for this show are all complying to the acting perfectly for those kind of tones. Cameron is portraying his characters perfectly for this, even if things may seem kinda off, this is intentional..

The best part of Jeremiah is how well they differentiated him from Jerome. It doesn't feel like watching Jerome with different makeup, it feels like a completely new character. There is no better actor.
I think this Joker is more like Sherlock's Professor Moriarty. Inteligence & Madness perfectly combined. I love it.
So, Jeremiah is directly on the edge as he’s cold and calculating, but not fully in sane; but as so as he falls, he becomes the true Joker.

This actor is amazing as both Jerome and The Joker. The Joker is one of my favorite characters of all time and I LOVEEEEEE how this actor plays him. He does such a perfect job in my opinion. Animated series much? The Joker is an extremely hard character to play and this actor clearly did his homework instead of just sticking to the usual/basic Joker personality. I love it so much and it's such a thrill to watch.

The show has better writing and direction without the interference of a studio that wanted to take everything "dark" out of it and about 4 plot points.
Leto's talented enough of an actor that I'm very sure that he could play as perfect a Joker as any. I mean the ONE scene in Suicide Squad he got to cut loose which was the Helicopter Scene where he was opening fire and maniacally laughing was about as "Joker" as it gets. Too bad he wasn't given the opportunity to do that more.
Also when he told Harley "I'm an idea" was Joker-like as well. Which of course was edited out of the theatrical cut cause WB never learns >_>

That's pretty darn "Joker". Of course, the studio also cut the majority of all of that out of the Theatrical cut of the film for being 'too dark'. It just goes to show what happens when studio interference changes scripts, scenes, and story points in a film how it can sabotage a performance. Why else do you think Leto was so pissed about it? Mordahigh well we haven't really seen Leto's portrayal, they cut almost all the scenes they filmed with him even though the crew and cast loved filming with him, the director of Suicide Squad even said he'd have made 🃏 Joker the main antagonist if they could go back and change it, we really only saw a test run of how Joker would look in a film with a smaller role.

Cameron Monaghan absolutely nailed this one. The portrayals of the Joker that I've seen so far were Ledger's, Hamill's, Nicholson's, and Romero's....and I don't know why, but Monaghan's portrayals of both Jerome and Jeremiah gave me the vibes of all the past portrayals while also adding his own color & interpretation of the role.
Also, since his first appearance in 1x16, his character already opened for a lot of different paths and opportunities to take, and clearly, they've chosen to introduce to us the funnier and insane version of the Joker through Jerome. From his character development through the course of the four seasons, we all thought that he really is the One. But then, here comes Jeremiah. And what I really loved about this twist is that through his character, we will be able to see that the Joker is not all about laughing, jokes, pranks, and being insane. There's more to the character than meets the eye, and that's the very reason why he's considered as the greatest among Gotham's villains.

THE CLOWN PRINCE OF GOTHAM HAS FINALLY ARRIVED IN GOTHAM and his look is insane as his character the purple suit the whitened skin the eyes above all are creepy and I love it. It seems like he is going to rip Gotham apart for good and I cant wait to see that
The scene where he tricked Gordon by telling him exactly what transpired with him, is straight out of the Batman Who Laugh's origin from Metal. Neat.

I loved Jerome so much and now having Jeremiah is just not the same 😭😭 But still having both these characters shows just what an amazing actor Cameron is ❤
I love the route they are going with this one. It's recognizable yet so new at the same time. There have been many incarnations of Joker, but Jeremiah's is so much more. I have to admit, Joker overall has always been intimidating. But this is by far the most intimidating variation I've ever seen. Well done Gotham.

I am a die hard Marvel Fan for over 20 years but Gotham is an amazing retake on the dc characters and Jared Leto sucked in the suicide squad. This young joker is crazy, creative and great method acting

-3rd Jeremiah Valeska (affected by the chemicals from ace chemical, which make him lose control of his sanity and that is how they introduced the joker himself.

This is how good this trailer is. Even though this season ended like a year ago yet after watching this trailer again it makes me want to rewatch season 4 again !! Oh wait..... I am already re-watching Gotham. #LongliveGotham
