Longest part for me was completing the reward track - everything else just came by joining a zerg and rampaging around the map. Hadn’t played any WvW at all until last week - I’m crap at it and get killed A LOT, but it gets very addictive seeing parts of the map change to your team’s colours and getting the regular stream of participation rewards 😁
Agreed. I'm still trying to finish the reward track, but WvW is really fun so far even though its a bit confusing and I die a lot..
easier said than done, all objectives are easy except capturing a keep, been trying for a week and no luck
Oddly enough I got that easy by the commander getting it when I was dead and respawned. I was surprised as I thought I had to be there (Dec 2022). However, what I am stuck at is getting the Warclaw Helmet. The wiki says I need to do the Warclaw Reward Track to do it. So until that is done I am just playing until that is complete. I assume then I can continue the other steps. Watching this video now I know that I am on the right track and doing it correctly! Thank you for this! Now I am not stressed over it anymore.
@@kaytriott I think as long as you attack / kill a guard or enemy in the keep, you still get credit for it.
For ppl don't want to kill ppl intentionally(like me lol). You can be a healer. Keep your teammate live longer and make them kill more ppl for you LOL

@@DvalinMMO Ah I'm very simple so I use the build that Mukluk suggests. I use his Scrapper healer build and Scourge healer build. But for the scourge, I'm too used to the power damage so I didn't follow his gear set ;p I did take a look at another WvW build for Scrapper healer and I tried it in my husband's acc but I still prefer Mukluk's ver. although that's for PVE lol
Badges of Honor must have been throttled down since this video was made. Ran with a zerg twice for a total of maybe 17 hours in WvW and only at 237 Badges of Honor. It's the only achievement I'm waiting to finish.
Can this mount be used in PvE mode or is it just for WvW?
It can, but the raptor is better in PvE

It's not that hard to take a base even as a solo. I took one earlier with just me and another random I had to keep reiclvingnng. Just made a golem door
I agree, WvW is normally quite empty, so solo/duo is viable. But this week with alliances, there is so many everywhere 😂
I put a point into the warclaw but the reward track isn't open for me

@@DvalinMMO Getting a similar issue too. Shoved a point into the training and the reward track as of now is saying the companion achievement needs to be done prior to unlocking.

Ok, I figured this out on my own. For others that have this issue. You must actually be in WvW to switch to active on the Warclaw Reward Track. It will remain locked until you are in the the PVP in WvW, then you can switch to it.
Ok, took me a 8hrs if you get a good group, Thanks for the video. I was able to be with the group most of the time, except when they glide.. could you explain how we glide in Pvp?
you also have to unlock the war gliding mastery for 3 mastery points. its right above the warclaw mastery
This mount being locked behind a pay wall is.... is pretty scummy.
I added 1 point to the Warclaw Mastery and the achievement is not showing in the achievement tab

Do you need expansions dlc to get warclaw and can we use warclaw in open world?
you need PoF and yes it can be used in open world but I don't think there is much of a benefit to it outside of WvW

why in the health bar i see -2192
Hello there! The Warclaw's health is 10,972 in both PvE and PvP, but in WvW, its health is slightly lower at 8,779. The minus is just telling you how much less :)
Next time dont forget to mention that this cah be done if you get the expansion you need..
Note: There is WvW reward track for warclaw, my dumba$$ was searching through pvp tracks for quite a while 😂
I just started and having everyone with the mount you are more likely to stay behind all the time.
Use a trait that gives me movement speed, good if no mount :)
If you stay focused on completing the goals and achievements, you can obtain the mount within 8 hours. So, there's no need to worry, just keep pushing forward!
