@@feli931 aw damn that sucks sorry man. The fall run is the best. Hope you get a better one next year... I'm glad you enjoyed the video though. I have a good time making them and it is great to hear that people like them
The good day just happened to be in IBSP but, as you may or may not know, it's not like it's one place you can really be 100% sure of this time of year for the really good stuff. The action could be up in Monmouth one day and then 20 or 30 miles south the next day - which happened to me two weeks ago: on the bite one day, way off the next. This day was a combination of luck, moving around, and a tip-off from a nice guy I fished with a bit earlier in the day.
@@finomenalfishing yep I relate to the fish literally moving so much. Had a really good bite in Belmar and the casino pier over the last week. Not sure where to start at tomorrow morning. Caught some rats today off the jettys in Belmar but had no serious action. Heard some blitzing went on today in Monmouth. Hoping to find something good tomorrow to get some good videos filmed. west winds looks good.
Yeah definitely. I'm an out of towner and am always jealous of the guys with an information network. I do well enough but I can understand how locals just crush it. Yeah maybe try starting in Monmouth perhaps. The steady winds should keep that variable relatively the same I would think. At least that's what I would do
Tuve que usar un traductor. Espero que puedas leer esto. Normalmente dejo de pescarlos alrededor de la segunda semana de diciembre, pero es posible pescarlos hasta enero en las olas e incluso durante todo el año en las bahías traseras.
Reel- Daiwa BG MQ 6000 (30lb braid) Rod- Tsunami trophy 2 11foot rated for 2-6 oz. The rod's a 2 piece but it does very well despite that. I'd prefer a single piece rod but I have a car and it wouldn't work for the commute 🤷♂️ gotta get a truck...
Striped bass such a beautiful fish when caught it's a trophy of a life time.
Definitely, one of my favorite fish, and definitely my favorite fish to go after from the shore.
