My opinion is we have a great D but the O is going to have to drive the field and score to give the D rest so a lot is going to be on the running backs and we have some 😊 ones successful season and going to come down to the QB and the Online...
Michigan O is playing the best defense in CFB again! So, if they can make any progress vs Michigan D, the offense will shred other teams. They'll get plenty of rest..!

Re: QB situation: dont forget Jack Tuttle...he's been around a long time & looked pretty good in mop up duty.
Im not sure he needs to "win" games (?) vs managing the win...esp with that defense.

• The D will need to carry the team early on until the O can gel together
I think Tuttle might be low risk but he’s also low ceiling
Did you watch Tuttle in last year’s spring game? A lot of questionable decisions.
It's Denegal or Orji ...a nice surprise would be, I did say "surprise", Jadyn Davis getting JJ 21' reps, then shocking us! D can pass and move, Orji, if he's a consistent passer ...will be insane! Tuttle is there, unless something magical happened in his 7th year, good back up. We'll see, that's all we can do.
if it's not orji it better be Davis just get him the experience

Wallers natural position is WR...but listed as WR/CB.. apparently playing corner, or apparently safety. Why? This guy IS that big bodied WR..210...6'3, could be insane if what I hear is true, he can play DB/S ...but why did Michigan convert Mikey Sanistril? Out of necessity...unless Michigan knows something. Obviously that second porthole should help more than hurt us. But yes, we will need a big bodied WR, though with 2 great TEs, maybe more to break out... (Coleston can fly for a TE, obviously tough, talent to spare, an extra year better, scary good) ... April 15-30 I hope is a plus, and we get the WR in question.. It's been suggested by others (unless Michigan knows he has bad hands or something) that Waller is a good idea for that spot. Thank u skeene for bringing levity.... folks around here panicking over 2.5 weeks of practice becuase the defense is dominating lol .....shouldnt it though?!?
Id rather out offense have to practice against the number one defense in the country and struggle because everyone is going to struggle vs that defense but it will make our offense tougher and so when they go up against defense that is not as good they should be able to drive on through them. Than when they come up against a defense that is comparable than they will have the balls to compete because it's been all they do in practice

We keep talking about bringing in a transfer QB but who would that transfer QB even be? The only sure fire upgrade is Seth Henigan from Memphis and reports saying he’s locked in to Memphis unless NIL comes into play. No one else who may enter the portal is a sure fire upgrade and you run the risk of damaging the culture.
Why don't we stop pretending that these are college players anymore. No more eligibility requirements, no more four or five year limitation--best players that are not in the NFL, regardless of age, etc. can play and REPRESENT the colleges. Pro ball now only. Young kids will have to find a high school to represent, or join a travel team somewhere. We have the corruption of amateur athletics today. "The love of money is the root of all evil."

Orji or Denegal...Orji is a force, and throws well, much better...i don't see much panic about QB job. As far as "plug and play", it worked for Iowa for 4 games? Still we owe that guy some respect for 21' despite the sh** talk. It "could", but agreed.. won't be ideal nor necessary!

That was one of our "violations" last year. Someone supposedly at practice that shouldn't have been. I believe, once again believe...with Orji's abilities and IF he is as good if not better than Denegal at passing accuracy, I hope so! Orji would be a stronger bodied JJ, a QB with movement is one of the big reasons why Michigan team #144 (O Line, should retroactively be given that 3rd JM award, Blake Corum ⚡, and the whole FN defense! Special teams with the exception of the Rose Bowl, though it showed that Michigan is so good, they can't even beat themselves! The only reason a 4 minute comeback drive was needed. Whoever you believe will win that starting job, I'd be fine with Denegal, Jayden Davis at some point would be electric! Committee? Tuttle has experience, but would be destroyed in the pocket, unless something magical happened. He's a good backup. But whoever gets the snaps isn't a matter of arguing over, disagreement is fine, but come on man, we've both seen as much of Orji as anyone else. Explain your case, starter....but I'm already skeptical you don't understand everyone else is asking, the best sources are trying and unclear as to who is in the lead, if there is a leader...because practice is closed!! We rely on what the team tells us. So... that's what it is....let's go BLUE

Orji just needs to hit a few passes a game and not turn it over. JJ wasn’t a world beater. He made about 2 great throws a game. Most of the time, don’t turn it over, run the ball and play defense.
If you think Orji will be ANYTHING like JJ, you will be highly disappointed 😂 It's not gonna work out with him.
@@iidentifyasanapple8932 JJ was not even that special. He was good, don’t get me wrong, but he didn’t light the world on fire against the top teams. When you have a run game like we did and a defense like we did. You don’t have to be the best quarterback. What made JJ different was his legs, extending plays and being very accurate throwing on the run. If orji can just do what Jalen Milroe did with bama, we’ll be fine.
@@Eaatlife I look forward to seeing which one of us is correct come fall. We don't have another JJ on this team and may not have one for several years. He completed 72 % of his passes. If JJ wasn't great (in your words), you will be threatening to jump off a high structure when you see what this offense will look like under a man who has completed one pass in two years 😂. I think you may be overestimating how many Milroes are growing on trees.

I only watch this show for Skene’s positive takes and not for Balas’ constant pessimism and doubt.
