G'day team! in this episode we take a quick look at the new Drifta 270 Free Standing Awning. I give my initial impressions and show you how this awning sets up and packs away! I'll also show how well it suits the Jimny and similar compact 4x4s

Great overview of the awning. I particularly like the hook on the end of the tensioning strap, it seems much easier to use than the sewn eyes that need to be looped around roof bars/racks etc in order to make the awning taut.
Once I’ve taken it out in some rain I’ll be able to give more info in a full review

Its turned out to be a cracker so far
Nice if you can add more technical info on product reviews like size profile actual weights , as with all jimny owners we try to keep total weight on roof as low as possible.

How’s the 270 and RTT feel up there when driving? Keen to do something similar with my setup
It’s been fine. I actually took the RTT off for a week to see the difference and I found more wind noise from the load bars when it was off!
