G'day Team we are off on another adventure this time we dash up to Wedge Island for an outstanding overnighter with Andrew Phan from Phantastic_Adventures with his awesome Super Charged FJ Cruiser. We are also joined by Alex with his very stealth JB74 Jimny build with one of the best cargo builds in I have seen so far in a Jimny.

Chase the mid 20s is the general rule of thumb. I’m winter head north and in summer head south
@@MightyOverlander Thanks mate. I went in summer to Albany and placed a tent in the Panorama Caravan Park. It was hot.
I'll go one day and check out the place in your video. It's only 1.5 hours north of Perth and seems good for night sky photography (no light pollution).
Great video . I am wet new to camping and a new jimny owner. Apologies for my ignorance, do you need a suspension upgrade with your current drifta rooftop tent ? Thank you
Yeah you need a GMV and suspension upgrade. This will allow for more overall weighty capacity but also tightens up the suspension so you don’t wobble around in the wind haha

@@MightyOverlander sorry I should have explained myself 🤣🤣 when I looked at wedge island it said, no camping…. So wondered if you where at Wanagarren? As it looked like a bookable site?

@@gitza1470 oh right hahaha yeah they are called the Wanagarren camp sites. You have to book and personally I think 1 and 2 are the best

Do you feel like it's going to tip over being such a small and light vehicle with a roof top on top? Me being so high angle on the beach makes me feel nervous sometimes.
It’s actually lighter on the roof now than ever before. I’ve had it much more leant over than that. No worries just know how to handle the vehicle
