What I did with my BK controller is used a piece of black foam and black zip ties to affix it to one of the cross members on the cockpit.. The foam is just keep it from rattling and also keeps it from sliding around on the cross member. Works fine and can reach it easily to adjust volume. I have been really happy with my GT Track and it is very stable for me using DD1 and Sprint pedals.
This review sold me. I just got it and after 20 or so hours I agree it is worth the money. It's solid and does not disappoint.

If anyone wants to save money then get the Next level racing DD cockpit or the WS 2.0 cockpit for around $200-250 and then add the GTseat add-on for $500. Those combined is actually this exact GTtrack cockpit setup, but this comes complete and they charge more when ya can save around $150-200 by getting them separate

Disclaimer Next Level Racing did send it to me so I don't carry the "how it felt to spend my own money on it" There's a lot of aluminum profile options at this price point, but I've been very pleased with the construction, how it looks and how my G920 runs on it. It's ridiculously sturdy, dope accessories included with lanyards, the seatbelt and stickers, the chair is "fine to good" and certainly does the job.
It looks amazing, but the one thing I will say is even though the instructions don't visually show it you definitely want to use the washers, two of my bolts stripped through during a recent move. I haven't gotten it set back up to see how that will affect things

I bought Next Level Racing Wheel Stand DD because I don't have enough space/money for sim racing rig. However, NLR now offers GT Seat Add On, so whenever I feel like I really need sim racing rig I can buy this add-on and enjoy full sim racing cockpit. Nice thing.

ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5 and intense off-road (like Dirt Rally 2.0) can really shake this wheel stand. For ppl with less room it's good choice.
@@bart_set This is my exact upgrade path - wheel stand for my CSW 2.5 to come in, and then potentially get the GTSeat add-on down the road!

So I got the stand, because I did not have the space at the moment for the whole cockpit. I thought I would be able to get just the seat setup as an add on but do not see that. Is that something I was mistaken on or can I just not find it?
Overkill my ass, I can't drive properly with my damn office chair. Easing around the track, no problem, but after an hour or so of me getting comfortable, I start to get more into the throttle and heavier braking, well, those slight shift's of my seat moving just a little bit throws me off and ruins a lot of my enjoyment. Definitely purchasing the seat add-on this year.
I stopped using the included tray that secures the wheels because I realized I'm too tall to use that and have my arms at the right/comfortable distance. 😮💨 spending more than I originally planned but I'm loving this new hardware! Every sim I play now feels *proper!* (Once configured and all settings are dialed in that is) gonna ask for a butt kicker for my B-Day this year. Fingers crossed

I'm looking at the flight version of this seat but have concerns about the width of the pedal plate. My flight pedals are nineteen inches across. How wide is the pedal plate and how wide is the interior measurement of the vertical supports for the wheel deck?

As someone with a small area to work with I’d have to get rid of my desk in order to fit this, do you think this is something you’d play other games on like Call of Duty? (With controller obviously) or would it be to awkward for long periods of time?
Good question. I think you'd have to take your wheel off the cockpit in order to properly see your screen. As a result, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for non-racing games. (nor have I seen anybody use it for something like that either)

Would this rig work under/close to a desk instead of a monitor stand?
I have the wheel-stand 2.0, which is the front part of this cockpit without the seat. I have it close to my desk and it works great, so i think it should work also with the full cockpit.

So I bought the thrust master sparco handbrake/SS, for god knows what reason it doesn’t come with installation bolts which is beyond stupid in my opinion. I’m buying this, but does anyone know if the installation comes with bolts for handbrakes or SS’s
As is with almost all sim racing hardware, it’s unusual for them to come with nuts and bolts. Those come with sim racing cockpits. In the case of the GT-Track, it comes with everything you need to mount wheels, pedals, shifters, etc.
No I would not spend $900 on it. Frame only it is $600 which means they value the seat at $300. The gt-elite is $700 and the ers2 seat for $300. You may as well get the flagship for an extra hundred unless you think the track is more aesthetically pleasing.

where? no way you can get all that for 900 a simlab p1x costs 700 and thats only a for the rig. A good racing seat which is what you want not a worn down secondhand skoda octavia seat, costs atleast 300.
@@skrillah6259 I'm in the US. For $550 I can get an ASR-3, A bucket seat with slider from Summit racing for $220, and threaded casters from the local hardware store. Not everything needs to be ordered from one MFG or strictly sim racing stores.

I think if I had $900 to spend I’d buy a SimLab GT1 EVO. Aluminum profile brings so much to the table and adds to the long term value more then any other style cockpit.

@@KayBot. It has wheels in the package you can put on it. So you can roll it wherever you want.
This seat is junk. The recline adjustment mechanism just broke after a few months of using about 2 hours a week.

Its not. You can get it for $500 on their website. They're literally adding ~$150 to the price, hoping nobody notices you can buy the parts separately for cheaper.
@@IAmTheGlovenor Still a lot of money for just a seat. Moreover, the front part can deal with DDs, but do not believe it is equal to more expensive ones created for DDs.

@@gozz9999 it’s not cheaper where I live. You have to factor in the cost of the seat (300$+) which is included here. But I agree, it’s not cheap for what it is.

I have an OLED TV and a Thrustmaster T300RS. My 32inch 1440p 240Hz monitor, which I despise and now use solely for work, is on a cheap IKEA table. This thing is also 200$ cheaper for me than in this video :D
