MV Agusta's simply a piece of art. I saw a video where a guy asked one of Superveloce's designer why they engraved logo of MV Agusta on the bottom of the oil pan , where no one can to see it. The answer was " What do you mean why ? It's MV Agusta ! "
My dad has the '15 version of the Turismo Veloce and it's pretty much 95% the same bike. I can't even count how many head turns this bike causes! It has great mileage and it's so comfortable from a second passenger. Yes it got some 'character' but with 50k km's it didn't cause any big headache. I'll say from experience is kinda an unicorn. My dad want's to sell the bike for something different but still exotic and unique but is very hard to find something like the TV or even better. Yes it's pricey from the showroom floor but it's so worth it: sound, style, comfortable, fun, nimble and unique. Great video and cheers!
Last year, I rode the Turismo Velocer from Vladivostok, Russia, via Eastern Europe to Varese, Italy, covering about 25,000 km for four months. For the first time in the history of MV Agusta, the bikes they exported returned by land. The durability of the MV Agusta may be lower than BMW or Japanese bikes, but I don't think there will be a problem if you ride it for less than 30,000 km in a short period of time. Trust me there are no bad bikes these days.

I have this bike for 2 years. She's in 15000km. I changed stock exhaust to mv titanium and now sounds greater than other acropovic systems. Bike has 1 major issue, front suspension is a little bit in soft side and sometimes she's head shaking (not like tank slapper) over 200km/s when I hard accerelate. No matter where I go to fine tune, any garage couldn't helped me. for 2 years, only broken thing is quickshifter and tail licence plate led which fixed under guarantee. The funny thing is MV is the most popular and biggest store and service and cheaper brand in my country It's cheaper than yamaha and honda and has 4 years/(100.000 km) guarantee. And last thing I can add it's reliable than KTMs
I just got my leftover 21’ MV TV Rosso for a steal at EuroCycle in Las Vegas and had it shipped out to me in NY by HaulBikes. Could not be happier with it. Such a high quality suspension and it’s deceptively fast! It handles better than any bike I’ve ever owned and I’m so glad KTM/The Pierer Group took over operations for MV in North America now! They have a 25.1% interest in the company now too which has already helped with the supply chain mgmt of parts for Mv’s. Nice engine too but I will say, my old Triumph Street Triple 675 and 765 engines were better though. Still a “ Macchina bella” or as I call her, my Goomah!😊
Same! I picked up my Euro4 2020 TV Rosso (base) and added bags, center stand and clear clutch pressure looking glass just to watch the engine run backwards. I love the way it looks and now the bags make it my #1 choice daily driver/rider. Parts under KTM are easy to get. I looked at Duc and Guzzi ADV and sport bikes. The ADV bars are too wide and too forward. The street bikes puts the rider in a head down position.. terrible for riding in traffic! The MV bike is made for every day riding. Comfortable quick and beautiful. What more do you want (from your bike)?

The boys at MV certainly know how to design a great looking bike. I wish they’d apply that talent to refreshing their brand as it’s looking dated and out of place on such beautiful bikes. Great video👍
Holy crap euro v69,420 has killed the beautiful sound of that bike. Was the exhaust just so quiet that you can hear the motor and valve train way too much? Or was it properly louder than most bikes that have an exhaust that quiet?
Great review, shame you did not have a version with the cases, I heard they are the especially designed cases to not portrude more than your handlebars so they are great for filtering in traffic as well. Also its funny to see how taste differs on sound. I have the Superveloce 800, so I guess there might be some difference because of the different tune and exhaust but I think it sounds amazing. This is my dream bike and I was seriously considering it for my next purchase. But it seems there are massive unreliability issues on MVs in general and this bike and the F3 in particular. In EU as soon as theyre over 20k kms they drop down to around 8 000€, probably due to the expected massive repair costs? Any owners to give me some first hand feedback ?
Yep you're wrong. The first gen had some electronic issues but the engine is being made for 9 years now. All hickups are gone now (own an Superveloce with 1500km, first year i own it
I had a 750 cc brutale, I bought it used, and did 1000 miles before fueling issue poured fuel all over my right leg, I had it towed to dealer and had it repaired, A displaced o-ring on the fuel manifold, I then sold, it, the guy called me six months later, he had fuel squirting out from under the tank! I considered one of these but ended up getting the middle of the road I guess.. A Triumph Tiger 800 XRx. Also a triple, reliable like the Tracer, bit less quirky than the MV but still more "special" and premium than the Yamaha. Just a tad down on power but it's enough!

MV Augusta V85TT when? It's the only Shaft-Driven ADV bike under 1000cc, and the only other shaft-driven option under 1000cc [that you can buy new] aside from a Honda Shadow.
I suppose for most italian bike owners you are probably going to be either a ducati or an mv owner, seldom both (of course these days Aprilia is not really a consideration at the southern tip of africa, nor is moto guzzi any more). I'm a ducati owner (two of them), so it's not as if I was going to rush out and buy an mv, but your videos are so entertaining I watched the whole thing anyway. Not quite in the league of the fort9 commenters who say "I've never owned a bike but your videos are amazing" but still pretty damn good :) I had to look up the weight - that was a real surprise. According to MCN it weighs the same as my 1260 multi (210kg) - for an 800, that's pretty heavy. No wonder you didn't find the 110 hp very exciting. 82Nm is good for an 800, but the weight will handicap that as well.
sadly, this bike has years without an update, so it will feel kinda old to today standards, but keep in mind that this bike had that techonology for at least 10 years now, before almost anyone else, i think only ducati and mvagusta had the TFT back on those days, BMW had techonoly but the tft was monocrhomatic.

I love MV as a brand, I recently transitioned from my F3 RC (BIG MISTAKE) to an ZX6R 2024 (nice bike but not an MV). Only reason for this was that even though I had a special edition bike, none of the UK dealers seemed to interested in offering a good P/X value against the brand new F3RR (my next bike once I get bored of the ZX6R). There is no major concerns with it's reliability unlike some would say, I rode it many miles and had zero issues - many long trips. Only thing was holding me back from riding it more, British weather aside - was devaluing it, sadly that plays into your mind when you own an MV - If I ride it too much, the value will be almost nothing. Resale on these is difficult, objectively you would need to know this is a bike you will keep for a long time. I miss my MV.. :D
When one starts an italian bike, the first impression is, this engine is shot, sounds like amlot of loose bolts inside, this is also true for the Ducati and other 'exotic' brands. Overpriced cluncky machinery covered in nice red plastic to detract from the reality. The dashboard and switchgear are rubbish if not intuitive and on a tourer, one needs a bigger tft screen for ckear information on all weathers. Hiw does that thing look with luggage on, is it a Versace handbag?😅
bro, come to Nepal, MV's are like very popular more than other brand, 2nd to ducati's. but these are more of a rich guys toys so maybe dont come if are thinking of getting a joy ride. also these costs 3 time more that its normal marked price. Nepals customs and other tax gives it a 270% mark up, but despite the mark ups there are a lot of luxuary bikes/ high capacity bikes as well as cars.

That Bike was actually on the list, but I got the Tracer 9 GT instead. In my opinion the MV looks better, but thats it. The Yamaha is cheaper, I have several Dealers nearby (MV dealer 2h away), and the elephant in the room: reliability. I do trust a Japanese Bike more compared to a very small Italian manufacturer. Do I regret my decision? No, absolutely not.
I love everything about the Turismo Veloce, especially that SCS clutch.... Except for that god awful front end that makes it look like it eats crayons.
I'm a little wary of the apps that are coming out for vehicle's now after seeing a vid about how the data from some of the big car manufactures apps in the USA allegedly was being sold to insurance companies and a lot of people saw big hikes on their insurance, even though they didn't have an accident, but they drove a bit more spiritually.
Apparently your ccomment was deleted while I was writing my answer but to answer the question. KTM originally bought 25.1% in November 2022 and added another 25% this month. That said KTM has no intentions of changing MV Agusta's motorcycle and will help expand the company by giving them access to their resource suppliers and selling MVs through certain KTM dealers to get a bigger dealer network making it easier for potential and existing clients to get their hands on a new bike, parts or certified mechanics. For now their deal only benefits MV Agusta because they can sell more motorcycles easier without having to change anything themselves
@@robinv2758 I suspect we will see higher prices or lower quality unfortunately. But the dealer/support network is a big deal. Ideally they’d sell extended warranties too. I deleted my comment when I got the section of the video where he answered when MV was purchased. Thank god it wasn’t by some Chinese company. example for example and R.E. Although the Indian made KTM’s are concerning to me. Mv would never do that but KTM and bmw both have. Better than China I suppose. I’m at the point I want some options from mv and Ducati that are still made like tanks. Metal components everywhere. Idc if it’s heavier. There’s a market for that pure analog and mechanical metal masterpiece. I adore the more modern 90s to present Ducati…but a couple Ducatis in particular, one older and one a retro revival situation, have made me really thirst for that. I mean big beefy frames and even the windshield cowl and mirror stalks are all made of the same painted body color aluminum. I was going to buy either an F3 800, a Brutale 800 RC, or a Super Veloce 800…but when I saw this out of Ducati’s recently i really fell for them and can’t help but worry it may be a point in my life where I will look back in the future and wonder why I bought a corvette or Ferrari 360 etc instead of a SL gullwing or GT40 or GT or bmw 504 or bmw z8, or Carrera GT even …any of those cars that not just skyrocket in value but people start to realize how special they were and you wish you’d bought one instead of a 911 for same price.
As someone who has had several long term Tracers 9s, it's a piece of sh t avoid at all costs, take this any day of the week, especially in the used market. The MV is gorgeous, handles better, has better technology and doesn't rust to pieces after hitting a slightly dirty puddle... 3:09, not to do with the bike, it's that specific brembo caliper... 1290s use the same calliper and they all squeal too, ce la vie i guess...
Insta 360 if you’re seeing this my company is waiting to buy hundreds of units on day one if you can release a 360 in this format that does 4k 60 after cropping to 16:9. Or at least 4k30p ffs
Omg, influencers, please, stop telling this BS about gyroscopic effect that keeping bike upright. The impact of wheels in overall motorcycle stability is less than 5-10%. MotoGP fight this cause they are chasing every bit of performance. But suspension trail and rake are the parameters that affects TRUE motorcycle stability, and what is really keeping it upright. Please, learn yourself, before teaching and explaining with the face of an expert. Because of this, and constant 100k+ channels saying about wheels - these myths about motorcycles are alive. And understanding proper effect of suspension may be crucial for people to picking the right bike or managing handling expectations. Same as deep understanding of important points like trail braking and it effect on suspension geometry and turn handling.
Welllll, there's a lot to consider here, but to be super short : On the one hand, if you compare it to the tracer 9 GT, non +, both displays are pretty bad. Additionally, imo, besides the aesthetics, which are amazing, the MV is pointless at this price. Costs almost as much as an S1000XR. Depreciation is insane. If you want this segment, V2S is also a better option.
The front looks like a bike from 2004. Which I find very strange for an MV, all their other bikes are very futuristic, this one always looked weird to me. (from the front)

I also want to scream around Diepsloot on an MV, my eyes constantly on the look out for hijackers and potholes.
I love everything about the Turismo Veloce, especially that SCS clutch.... Except for that god awful front end that makes it look like it eats crayons.
I disagree but fuck me thats funny 😂
Speed limiter?????? What is this... a Volvo? Anyways good video. Adding a "What the Girlfriend said" section is great for a review. Cheers
another banger
Grandpa Bike!!!!🇿🇦🎉
20yr olds can't afford it Sonny...McDonald's don't pay too well
I'm a little wary of the apps that are coming out for vehicle's now after seeing a vid about how the data from some of the big car manufactures apps in the USA allegedly was being sold to insurance companies and a lot of people saw big hikes on their insurance, even though they didn't have an accident, but they drove a bit more spiritually.
Luv the hole in the seat, can’t fit your gloves in it when at the cafe 😂
Can you review MT stinger 2 helmet!
If you haven’t got rid of it already do a back to back tracer comparison
@@robinv2758 sorry for ranting btw
18,500 Euros, how much is that in Rands?
As someone who has had several long term Tracers 9s, it's a piece of sh t avoid at all costs, take this any day of the week, especially in the used market. The MV is gorgeous, handles better, has better technology and doesn't rust to pieces after hitting a slightly dirty puddle... 3:09, not to do with the bike, it's that specific brembo caliper... 1290s use the same calliper and they all squeal too, ce la vie i guess...
Try the Honda X-ADV 750 PLSSSSSSSSS
Insta 360 if you’re seeing this my company is waiting to buy hundreds of units on day one if you can release a 360 in this format that does 4k 60 after cropping to 16:9. Or at least 4k30p ffs
Love MVA designs, but those guys still consider a fuel gauge as an optional extra, so surprised the Veloce has one ;-)
Not new but I’ve nearly bought a used one cos they are bargains when they are £6000 gbp..
Why is MV Augusta not paying you to make their commercials. With a silver like yours, you should be in advertising sir.
Welllll, there's a lot to consider here, but to be super short :
On the one hand, if you compare it to the tracer 9 GT, non +, both displays are pretty bad.
Additionally, imo, besides the aesthetics, which are amazing, the MV is pointless at this price. Costs almost as much as an S1000XR. Depreciation is insane.
If you want this segment, V2S is also a better option.
Pls give update video on r1 :)
The front looks like a bike from 2004.
Which I find very strange for an MV, all their other bikes are very futuristic, this one always looked weird to me. (from the front)
the front of the bike is like a ducati multistrada 1000
Its like a stunning woman with a cross eye, that headlight looks like a parts bin addition
Great vid
Much better off with a s1000XR since they're almost the same price here in the US.
Good review. I ride 2015 model :)
Your intro would be cooler if the title and thumbnail wouldn't spoil it :D
nice shop they have !
How has no one mentioned this thing looking like a first gen Ducati Multistrada?
I also really like the random hole too 😂
9:30 parts availability is shit with KTM.
I have only encountered delays with my 1290 and 690
Those aren't steel braided brake lines...
Great review but that motor noise would put me off as it just sounds like a lot of wear and tear.
