My RV Lock stopped working unless I used the key, so I got the Onnais lock about 3 weeks ago. Very pleased with the purchase, it is much sturdier than the RV Lock. Hopefully it lasts longer than about 18 months, which is how long the RV Lock lasted. One thing that was different, was that I have to leave the screen door panel open, as the Onnais lock button gets caught and won't turn if the screen door panel is closed, but that is no big deal.
Just ordered one direct after finding them on Amazon. Looks like a nice lock and with your discount much lower in cost than the other brands out there.
I got 2 of the last version for our new rig back in January. Still on the original batteries! The RVLock brand was on our last 5er and it ate batteries alot.
Thank you! I just ordered two of these locks for our RV. The discount code is very much appreciated. Can I ask where you got the little grinding attachment for your drill? That would come in handy for a lot of projects I do.
@@davidw_52 One of the reasons we wanted to make the partnership and video is because we had never heard of this brand. The more we researched the more we were impressed. Really can’t beat it at this price point either.
Very nice! Much better than the RVlock. I am on my second RVlock since August. But I can’t justify spending money to upgrade it, however when the time comes I will definitely consider this one.
@@mikewadams1 We are super happy with this Onnais so far! It’s definitely worth the money and seems to cost less than either of the other rv lock choices.
@ Yeah the dead bolt mechanism appears to be much more solid. The RVlocks mechanism is flimsy. We also had the issue of our door popping open going down the road, which we fixed by adding a space behind the plate. I also want to get that extension. Hopefully Brinkley will change to this brand. I will mention it at the Tampa show.
What is the name of your door extender? I want one. We ordered 2 of the locks. One for our front and one for the back door. Thanks for the discount code!
I might have missed it but how is the inside pull handle? I have the RV lock and I have to slam the door because the handle flexes to much for me to softly close the door. Also the RV lock has a tiny little grab handle on the inside. I know RV lock has a metal version for the inside, the one I have is plastic.
@@GadgetB1 great question! The inside handle is all metal. The pull handle is large as is the door unlatch. Jackie has commented several times that the door closes and opens much easier now.
Putting a 300 dollar lock on a 5th wheel will not fix the frame flex issues with all 5th wheels, smart. Look up all the law suite against Brinkley for this issue.
@@kar-r5i4f I often wonder why if you have nothing kind to say do you always comment on the negative. First, the lock is $116 not $300. Nice product review, didn't know this company was out there. Looks like a much better lock. Safe travels
@@SmokeyBear2001 Thank you for watching! We were not aware of them either. They have been in the gun safe market for a while though.
What an excellent video and product review. I will definitely consider changing my lock on my next G3500. Thank you, and Safe travels!

I called rv lock about the talking lady and was told I needed a new pic board. They sent it within a week. Now it works like it should.
