Do I own a camper, No, do I plan on owning a camper, NO😂, But do I watch every episode as if I do, yes 😂😂, I love Craig & Victoria 🎉 cheering you on for your project ❤ Found tou guys from Open Roading
We ARE proud of you. You’re doing a great job. What an undertaking! Hope Craig’s back is better. We’re enjoy your reno videos. Have a Merry Christmas 🎄✝️
Absolutely fantastic job. As a 40 year master Mason. I can tell you that all projects are only as good as the foundation they are built upon . Your foundation as shown in your relationship with each other is as strong as it gets. There for your project will be a total success. Keep up the great videos. You are showing your viewers the whole truth.
Keep the vids coming, my wife and I were up in AK the same time you guys were, we gad a great trip, took our Grand design 310. I enjoyed watching yours and open roading. Good work on the class c.
Others beat me to it with their comments Very proud that you made the decision to open all that roof so you know what you have to deal with Patches mean extra seams, new sheets are my suggestion, you will sleep 🛌 better under a roof you can be confident in
Guys, the tape over the Luan joints is a factory item. Whenever you have plywood (luan) joints you put tape over it to prevent the edges of the plywood from cutting through the TPO or PVC roofing.
Fantastic job! I'm so impressed; literally nothing fazes you two. You demonstrate how far a positive attitude and take you. You don't focus on the problem too long. Instead, you figure out a solution. Very cool!
I love watching you two. Is Victoria ever in a "Bad Mood"? She is always so upbeat-not that Craig is not; it's that she seems so happy. And yes, you should be proud of the work you did!!
Fascinated by your build. Recently subbed so I've got the pleasure of watching all your back catalog too 👍 Keep up the great work and excellent chemistry you two have on screen 👌 Happy camping from Andy & Katie in the UK 🇬🇧
LOL...Victoria, You sounded like me when told Craig to be careful I can't finish this myself! I always tell my husband to be careful, I need him to empty the black tank. LOL
Nice Job! I am enjoying this renovation journey and watching you two work together. I can't wait to see your internal renovation, especially the bathroom and kitchen. I know we are seeing an edited/filtered video, but you two really seem to complement each other and make a great power couple.
Bravo for tackling and mastering the roof! I know there is TH-camveristy and eTrailer how-to videos, but Craig has an impressive construction knowledge base. This has been a wonderful series to watch! Can't wait to see where you are headed in 2025 with this little camper.
Added 90lb of new wood, but subtracted 190lb of waterlogged mess. ...Winning... Also, get a scraper blade kit from Harbor Freight for your oscillating multi-tool to remove old sealant.
You guys were having a good time with each other. I am sure where there were moments, can’t have 2 people doing a job without some drama. You guys have me hooked, so I can’t wait for the next chapter. You mentioned McDonough, that is very close to where I live.
Great job! Just a pointer on replacing the skylight, use cabinet or washer screws. The standard screws used by the manufacturer don’t spread the clamping force out and can cause cracks to propagate in the skylight from the screws.
I know you’re exhausted but it’s so entertaining to watch your wild life. It makes me appreciate my rv life so much more. Try not to kill your back as I’m not 85 yet by any means but at 65 I know what you’re going to be going thru. Walmart sells a 12 volt heating wrap around back belt. Not big but 12 volt.
Very impressed, GREAT JOB! That is some serious sweat equity. Your sense of accomplishment I’m sure is amazing. I no longer doubt your Tampa Show deadline.
I am sure you guys did a way better job than a dealer would have done. They would have never gone to the extent of what guys in ways of prepping . Looks awesome
I’ve gotta be honest, when you guys started this project I was a little bummed. I love your normal content and your channel, but now I’m digging your project also. Like you guys, I’ve watched many videos on replacing an RV roof. I’ll be doing mine in a couple years. Great job!
We had our roof Replaced by Accent Roofing in Corona ca 12,000. With a 10yr warranty. Everything New but one fan and it was New. You Both did an Amazing job. Looks Awsome.👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Bigs Hugs❤
Proud of you. Our first roof replacement was a challenge! Remember it is not "if" there is bad wood it is "how much" on an older rv. Just completed our daughters class C and we were right at $2,500 in materials.
I’ve enjoyed this entire series. I’ve learned something on every video and while I’m not sure I want to tackle a roof replacement 😂 this video made me confident that we could do it with the right material and a lot of patience. Thanks for another great video!
You two are just absolutely amazing. I have enjoyed so much watching this video and all your videos. Job well done. You should be extremely proud of yourselves!
You might want to look at Henry’s roof sealant for over your roof membrane before you put back all the ac etc. it has a 10 year warranty so it would give you peace of mind and a selling plus if you decide to sell later.
If you use Henry's make sure it is the 100% silicone. Not the knock off silicone like. It will last and it flexes with the heat. I'm not an employee of Henry's I just have used both and have to use 100 % silicone.
Good job! One note, lap sealant doesn’t stick to butyl, so you should’ve trimmed any butyl that squeezed out before putting on the lap sealant. If when you get up there and inspect your lap sealant, and notice that some of it is bubbling or coming loose, scrape it off, scrape away the butyl, and reapply the lap sealant.
We just watched you replace your roof on the RV. GOOD JOB! Why to go saving all that money! Craig you are very handy to have around ,Is there no job you can’t do? To be so young you really have some knowledge about DIY ANYTHING!!!!! Victoria you are a great helper too! Y’all aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty!!!!!❤
Aches and pains aside, you guys have to feel pretty good about that beautiful new roof ☺️ Just think about how good it will feel to be nice and dry in that camper during a big rainstorm. Ahhhhh…
I can sympathize with you. We had to rebuild the entire structure of the roof on my father's camper last summer and it was brutal. My husband and I are in our late 50s and my Dad in his late 80s. I will NEVER do another. 😄
I redecked, insulated and surfaces my 44ft toy haulers roof. I used a commercial roofing product called Peel n seal. Worked amazing. 2.5 years later and it's maintainance free and no leaks
Fantastic job! My husband who built those for 20 years, says you did a great job. We got a Maxx Air fan too, well worth the money. We're BOTH VERY impressed..woohoo!!
You guys are really brave to tackle all the improvements that you have tackled repairing all the projects associated with this RV. You should be very proud!!! Great job!!!!
You guys did awesome!!! I’m in construction remodeling and do a lot of DIY with our fifth wheel, as a matter of fact, we’re in the middle of a remodel on it which has been put on hold due to me having a bout with spinal stenosis and just had a lumbar laminectomy. Recovering and soon be back on the RV. We are in our late 50’s and want to go full time in the fiver and do work camping. All my down time I have really enjoyed your channel! I have watched all your videos, especially enjoyed your Alaska trip with you!!! Keep up the great content. Can’t believe your great luck with the weather! If I had stripped my RV roof it would have monsooned for weeks!!!
Good Job, if only people would repair things right the first time, it would save the next person so much work, time & money! Appreciate the extra TLC you two put in to this repair. 🤙🤙
Hello Victoria & Craig, I wanted to tell you that your journey resonates deeply with us as fellow full-time RV travelers and adventurers. My wife and I have been married for 42 years, and like you, we’ve embraced the unpredictable beauty of life on the road. In September, we sold our house to pursue our dream of exploring the country and started our full-time RV lifestyle with our 36-foot Thor Omni, affectionately named “Badger.” Over the next three to four years, we plan to discover the diverse landscapes of this country, immersing ourselves in life’s adventures during the autumn of our lives. Your stories of overcoming challenges with humor and determination mirror our own. Our Badger has recently faced a significant trial, a water-damaged slide floor, that led to an extensive repair journey. While I’m mechanically inclined, this has turned into an opportunity to tackle numerous factory oversights as DIY projects. From improving structural integrity to enhancing systems, we’re getting so much done and making the Badger better than new. It’s been a labor of love, much like the projects you’ve shared on your channel. Watching you tackle the monumental task of replacing your Class C RV’s roof was both inspiring and validating. Like you, we’ve found that RV life isn’t just about the miles traveled or the vistas visited, it’s about the grit, the growth, and the community we build along the way. We’re in the midst of preparing the Badger for boondocking and have only stayed on battery power a few times with the original solar setup from Thor. Recently, we upgraded to 800 watts of solar panels and 400Ah of lithium batteries, and we’re excited to test the capabilities of our freshly installed array as we embrace more off-grid adventures. Your experiences remind us to approach this lifestyle with curiosity and courage, and we look forward to learning and growing from every challenge, just as you have. I’ve been documenting our journey through Stray Compass Life on social media, sharing narratives, photos, and insights from the road. I hope to grow my social media presence to the standards of Wild RV Life, as you’ve set such an inspiring example for this community. If you’re ever willing to help with a shout-out, it would mean the world to us. We’re grateful for creators like you who share the reality of RV living, the good, the bad, and everything in between. If anyone wants to follow our journey, they can find us by searching Stray Compass Life or my name, Thomas Corrao. We hope to cross paths with you someday along our journeys-it would be an honor to meet kindred spirits like you in this great, wide world. Best wishes for many more miles and moments, Tom & Nozomi Corrao #StrayCompassLife @straycompasslife
To say that we are proud of you two kiddos is an under statement! We have been watching your videos for a couple of years now. We actually binge watched last winter to be sure we watched every episode up to the current episode. We have surscribed to your channel, but this is our first time commenting. We are retired but not full time RV'ers, but we enjoy long adventures. We have a Gulfstream Class C. We took a 195-day adventurous journey to the western USA in the fall of 2021. We now do trips a couple of weeks at a time. We call ourselves Two Frugal Young Minded Old Coots, blessed beyond measure. We believe that your love and devotion to each other and to our Father God is the key to your success. The blessings of our WAYMAKER along with your perseverance and willingness to try new projects, not giving up, is why you two are so successful. We hold you in our daily prayers and love receiving the bell notification that you have released new footage. May God's blessings and his hedge of protection continue to be about you, Craig & Victoria. We hope to see you at the aTampa RV show & your project RV. Are you naming it? We named ours Faithful Serenity. Our Best~ Lizzy & Sammy ☝️🙌✝️😊💜💙
I just loooove watching you two work on this project. Not that I will ever tackle something like that ( past that age) but love how you approach each challenge. No short cuts, one step at a time with the patience for the prepping and clean-up, team work, and Victoria still smiling...... Craig sure is a handy guy and Victoria has no qualms trying anything new. Just such a joy to see it all come together, happy for you guys !
Great job guys, we had our roof replaced because we ran into a solar panel and it cost us $11,000. Wished we had your video back then. Thank you for keeping it real and all the explanations. Love all your videos.
You are doing such a good job. I’ve watched AZEXPERT do roof jobs for years. You’re smart listening to him. Craig, when I saw you ripping off the old roofing my back hurt for you - even before you said anything about it. But that’s the only way to get it off. I can’t believe all that wood only added 90 pounds spread out over all that area. Keep at it. This is great watching.
Very proud of y'all! First, I don't know why shops charge so much to do this job. Second, after watching y'all do it, I'd tackle the job myself and save a bunch of $$$. Great job and great video!
I'm always amazed at how you two tackle difficult projects together. I would be SO intimidated by even the thought of taking off and installing a new roof but, together, you figured it out and got it done right. You have every reason to feel proud of yourselves. You did a great job!
You both done a great job.... Thanks for sharing what other campers surely are facing on an older roof, keep up working together as a team. There are many couples that need this inspiration on how we need each other. THANKS from Alabama.
Do I own a camper, No, do I plan on owning a camper, NO😂, But do I watch every episode as if I do, yes 😂😂, I love Craig & Victoria 🎉 cheering you on for your project ❤ Found tou guys from Open Roading
Thanks for watching along! We’re so glad you’re enjoying the ride.
It's impressive what you two are doing with that project. I'm all in on watching more of the build.
We really appreciate you coming along for the journey!
We ARE proud of you. You’re doing a great job. What an undertaking! Hope Craig’s back is better. We’re enjoy your reno videos. Have a Merry Christmas 🎄✝️

I admire your positive attitudes! I have to admit, I think I would have given up a long time ago! Looking forward to seeing the finished project!
Thank you so much! we are really so ready to finally get into the interior stuff!
You two are such great partners. Victoria’s positive energy lifts Craig and Craig make Victoria laugh…. Such a great combo when doing a project.
You kids are so much fun to watch!
I love that you both don't cut corners on your rebuild of that future R.V.
Well I am a believer; did not think it was possible to DIY an entire roof! Great job you two!
haha glad we could change your mind! thank you!!
Super Proud of you both - well done !
Thank you so much!! 😁
@@wildrvlife Keep on keeping on !
I’m very impressed. What a great job. So unusual today for people to tackle a job like that.
@georgeivers5363 Agree ! It is so excellent to see - very inspiring, and taking the time to share information/learnings is much appreciated !
So glad you found AZ Expert!!!!! He knows all the things.
"Don't fall through that roof! I can't finish this by myself". That was so funny! Exactly what I'd say to my husband.
Others beat me to it with their comments
Very proud that you made the decision to open all that roof so you know what you have to deal with
Patches mean extra seams, new sheets are my suggestion, you will sleep 🛌 better under a roof you can be confident in
Thank you!! We're happy with our decision to just go all in and get it done!
AZ Expert is the best re-roofer on you tube.
Guys, the tape over the Luan joints is a factory item. Whenever you have plywood (luan) joints you put tape over it to prevent the edges of the plywood from cutting through the TPO or PVC roofing.

Awesome job, and you know it's done right. No more guessing if will leak or not.
Yes! It's giving us so much more peace of mind
WATCH OUT FOR THE HOLE!! That was hilarious 😆 What a beautiful job 🥇
LOL! i was really worried about Craig falling in the holes, although its definitely more like something I would do 🤣
Proud of your guys; $10,000 sweat equity... 👏👏
Fascinated by your build.
Recently subbed so I've got the pleasure of watching all your back catalog too 👍
Keep up the great work and excellent chemistry you two have on screen 👌
Happy camping from Andy & Katie in the UK 🇬🇧
Thank you for subscribing and catching up on our adventures! We're glad to have you along for the ride
Worked on RVs in the 70s and 80s. You two did an absolute fantastic job!
LOL...Victoria, You sounded like me when told Craig to be careful I can't finish this myself! I always tell my husband to be careful, I need him to empty the black tank. LOL
You guys are doing a great job! We love watching you guys…
thank you so much for coming along!
Nice Job! I am enjoying this renovation journey and watching you two work together. I can't wait to see your internal renovation, especially the bathroom and kitchen.
I know we are seeing an edited/filtered video, but you two really seem to complement each other and make a great power couple.
4:11 YES!! You got it. 😂
Bravo for tackling and mastering the roof! I know there is TH-camveristy and eTrailer how-to videos, but Craig has an impressive construction knowledge base. This has been a wonderful series to watch! Can't wait to see where you are headed in 2025 with this little camper.
We're excited to share the next chapter in 2025 too!
You both are so incredibly talented, I’m amazed by how you figured this out. Congratulations, great job 👍
thank you!!
Wow, you guys are AWESOME.,
Taking on that job.
It's PERFECT.....looks pretty too.
It was a lot of work but totally worth it! 💪
Added 90lb of new wood, but subtracted 190lb of waterlogged mess.
...Winning...
Also, get a scraper blade kit from Harbor Freight for your oscillating multi-tool to remove old sealant.
Now you got me wanting that scrapper blade. As a just in case. lol. I had no idea that was an option
@lemichaeljohnson2069 or a really dull metal blade works great too. It is night/day difference compared to scraping by hand.
You guys made this look so easy that I don’t even believe Craig’s back hurt after!
You guys were having a good time with each other. I am sure where there were moments, can’t have 2 people doing a job without some drama. You guys have me hooked, so I can’t wait for the next chapter. You mentioned McDonough, that is very close to where I live.
Love watching you guys. 😂. Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you! Merry Christmas!!
Great job! Just a pointer on replacing the skylight, use cabinet or washer screws. The standard screws used by the manufacturer don’t spread the clamping force out and can cause cracks to propagate in the skylight from the screws.
Y’all two are so much fun to watch but I think you done a great job on the roof.
I know you’re exhausted but it’s so entertaining to watch your wild life. It makes me appreciate my rv life so much more. The roof is a good part to have be the nicest part of an RV.
Craig- You have an awesome Victoria. Where can I get one ??? 😊❤
Great job to both 👍🏻
You both are so much fun to watch together. What a great job you did on the roof.
We have a blast working together! 😊
I love watching you two! You both work so well together! Proud of you both here in Wichita, Kansas! ❤❤
Nice job! Looks like your dog got into some yard food at 3:31 😆
I am sure you guys did a way better job than a dealer would have done. They would have never gone to the extent of what guys in ways of prepping . Looks awesome
I'm a 74 year old DIY guy. And what you both have done is awesome. Proud of you both. A great example for young folks to follow. 😊
Finally found a video that shows me exactly what I am facing in the spring. Really enjoyed watching the series. Thanks for being there.
I’ve gotta be honest, when you guys started this project I was a little bummed. I love your normal content and your channel, but now I’m digging your project also. Like you guys, I’ve watched many videos on replacing an RV roof. I’ll be doing mine in a couple years. Great job!
This is such a compliment, I'm so glad that you are enjoying this different kind of adventure too!
Congratulations! Very proud of you both. Your roof looks amazing.
Wow! I’m totally impressed. That’s a LOT of work. It’s going to be great 👍
I’ve enjoyed this entire series.
I used something similar to Henry’s and I love roof coatings now. It’s the real way to go
Craig's construction skills are obvious. He knows what he's doing. That roof is NOT going to leak. I'm so proud of you both!
Good Job You're both cute whippersnappers. Nice to see you two working so well together.
Thank you so much! I always say that Craig really can do anything!
Great instructional video. If you ever get to the PNW we would like to buy you dinner. Maybe do a PNW meet up? Great job. 👏
Can we please have the BLOOPERS REEL???? Love watching Wild RV from DAYTON TX!
Even the Pros would be proud!
I redecked, insulated and surfaces my 44ft toy haulers roof. I used a commercial roofing product called Peel n seal. Worked amazing. 2.5 years later and it's maintainance free and no leaks
You kicked butt. I couldn't see your vision. Well done.
My husband and I enjoy watching y’all. We can’t wait for the next video. Keep it up.
I take my camper to Southern RV for all me repairs, they are the best
It’s super fun watching you guys!! My wife and I never miss an episode! 😁
You rock! Thank you so much!
Fantastic job! My husband who built those for 20 years, says you did a great job. We got a Maxx Air fan too, well worth the money. We're BOTH VERY impressed..woohoo!!
Now that’s quite a compliment coming from him then!! Thank you so much!
You guys are really brave to tackle all the improvements that you have tackled repairing all the projects associated with this RV. You should be very proud!!! Great job!!!!
Craig dancing on the roof is making Victoria and some of us nervous. A spare back would be nice 😅 GREAT JOB on the roof!!
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🌟
I still can't figure out why you need this RV when you have that beautiful Brinkley!
You guys are doing an amazing job! Really entertaining watching your progress
Good Job, if only people would repair things right the first time, it would save the next person so much work, time & money! Appreciate the extra TLC you two put in to this repair. 🤙🤙
Very nice work guys. You did a great job given all the challenges you had to deal with. Praying the engine/trans/chassis are deserving of that roof.
you kids rock, I now have more confidence in DYI projects. Congratulations on the awesome RV. Totaly worth the savings.
No way I could do this but I enjoyed watching you guys. Great job!
Very proud of your craftsmanship! You did a fantastic job.
WHAT A GREAT JOB MERRY CHRISTMAS LOVE YOU GUYS

Great job guys. We had our roof replaced about a year ago on a 37 foot 5th wheel and it cost 10,000. Luckily it was covered under insurance.
Great job guys, we had our roof replaced because we ran into a solar panel and it cost us $11,000. Wished we had your video back then. Thank you for keeping it real and all the explanations. Love all your videos.
Proud of y'all!!! Looks fantastic! Totally Worth It!!
I’m thinking that when I go RV shopping I need to invest in a moisture meter.
Harbor Freight sell them. I gonna get one too👍🏼
I think Alpha is the best kit/roof
Great job! I love how you do not cut corners. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thumbs up. Every time I thought is he going to “””””” Craig had it done.
You guys have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year give them dogs a pat on the head for me.
Y’all are doing good work here and putting shops to shame with your timeline! 😂 looking forward to seeing what’s to come.
You guys did an AMAZING PROFESSIONAL job on the roof!!!
You guys did awesome!! I am very proud of you!
You two are🤘Rockstar’s! The roof looks amazing ❤
You both do excellent work together and I like how Vicky uses her hands while talking!
You both done a great job....
Thanks for sharing what other campers surely are facing on an older roof, keep up working together as a team.
There are many couples that need this inspiration on how we need each other. THANKS from Alabama.
