      Thanks for the kind words, we really enjoyed Savuti and all that it had to offer. We are so spoilt living on this continent, so, so much to explore and enjoy…..just makes me want to saddle up that pony and to head for the hills 🤣

    Sunrise, sunsets, lions, ellies and BEES!! I would swell up like you too. I hope you both recovered quickly from that attack. Another amazing video!

      Thank you. We got a big fright after the bee sting. Dianes reaction caught us off guard. New edition to our first aid kit is an Epipen. You never know, there is no help for miles. There is even a chance of saving someone else’s life.

      Yip those sunsets were invented on the Zambezi. No photoshop on those colours, also the dusky skies lasted for much longer than We are used to.
      Thanks for the like 👍

      Haha…We loved the sunsets and those lions particular the male is legendary we later discovered. The male lion is known as Sekoti and right now he is still the reigning king of the Savuti Marsh

    That male lion is called Sekoti, which means "short" tail

    • @SoulTonicLife
      @SoulTonicLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it seems like Sekoti has a reputation, beyond the lion kingdom. Thanks for the share.

      Oh wow! Did not know he has a name and reputation. Sekoti the lion without a tail tip. "King of the Savuti Marsh", what a legend. Cool comment👍

    Goosebump, beautiful! Your capturing of wildlife as well exquisite sunrises and sunsets, I love your spotting of smaller species ea, Butterflies, dung beetles
    No matter what you guys spot it and record it. Just love the spontaneity of your banter. Sjoe I really felt your ANGST with your bee encounter, Luckily you didn't take off in the distance, I don't know if Christoph would have caught up with you!! Thank you so much for sharing!❤❤❤

      Haha there was a lot more to the bee story. Pandemonium, chaos and panic all rolled into one. I stalled car trying make the away and a Diesel never makes a good getaway car, plus the windows were down and the bees had tagged us, so there was a lot of buzzing around us. Without the vehicle on, I could not roll up the electric windows. A lot of lessons learned. Maybe an EpiPen in the first aid kit is a good idea. Thanks for the lovely comment.

    Still just amazing. Thanks for bringing us the little gems too. the butterflies, birds, mongoose (mongeese? with mongoslings?).
    BTW is it still PC to call them Dwarf Mongoose? Vertically Challenged Mongoose doesnt roll off the tongue quite as easily.
    Thank you thank you for yet another amazing glimpse into wild Africa, where there really are Shallow Pigs walking down the street and cattle are replace by grazing Elephants.
    huge thanks

      This is funny...it is interesting how we try to get into the minds of some of these animals. The pecking order of birds etc.
      If you miss a game drive, the morning routine of animals marauding in the morning camp is still very entertaining around the camp. Awesome comment keep them coming.

    Looks like an amazing trip. Planning to do a solo trip through Botswana, the captivity an Namibia. Just wanted your opinion on how many days I need to do the caprivi? Is etosha worth it after Botswana.

    • @SoulTonicLife
      @SoulTonicLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is an amazing trip. The more time you have the better your chances of seeing wild animals. spotting gameDistances are big and game is not always guaranteed. Caprivi has has the Nkasa Rupara National park…and includes the Linyanti swamp, flanked by the Linyanti River and Kwando River. It is an unfenced migratory path for elephants the park is lesser known but very rewarding. Two days game driving should be great. Then there is the Bwabwata National park that is small and concentrated, two days should be good…and yes Etosha is worth it. It is other worldly. Happy travels
