A service adviser is nothing to write home about, you don't tell them what is wrong with their car. You take down the complaint description and send it to the shop for repairs. If she works 13 hours days up at 4AM at work at 6 AM works until 7 in bed by 9 or 10 seven days a week just when does she have time to go the gym, shop, and such.

I worked 12 hours 2 hours for the commute. I had no time for anything at all shower sleep and get ready for work. I couldn't imagine needing to do makeup and hair and what ever else these girls do.

I work for a luxury car service department as a porter and can tell NO service department is open on Sundays and some are open Saturday with limited hours. Depending on her state, some are union shops and don’t work weekends due to hours/days limitations in their contracts. She’s a liar and didn’t think anyone would want to know more or ask questions, so she stuck with her lie until the conversation moved on. She’s a walking Red Flag.

Well, even at the end of the clip, when naming off types of garbage guys she dated, she ended with people that were electricians and plumbers (whether that was an intentional tie in or not, idk for sure). This woman likely views career as white collar. Blue collar isn't even on her radar despite a lot of tradesmen blowing her salary out of the water. Her job is currently making her $24~ an hour, possibly less.

I own a house and women don't want to move in with me. The whole living with parents thing is a myth. My older brother is in his late 30s, lived with my parents for 5 years and he was hooking up with women left and right because he's built like a freaking spartan warrior and he goes out every night, he's just good at picking up women but he's not wealthy at all.

I sincerely doubt Rachel is telling the truth. At best, she is exaggerating, and at worst she is a liar. There is no way she works 7 days a week, 13 hours per day. Being a "service advisor" is not the kind of job which requires that kind of focus. EVEN IF she asked to work this many hours, Toyota/Infinity wouldn't allow it due to labor regulations.

Bingo. No guy who wants children would ever consider her for a wife. So, what does that leave? Wealthy guys who want arm candy? She isn't available. Guys who want to travel. She isn't available? An up and coming career guy? So he can come home to an empty house while she's working like a dog for her dealership? Sorry... she brings nothing to a man's life. She got a job at a dealership and she's enamored by the rich guy who owns it. She has not idea that she'll never own a dealership because she'll never earn multiple missions of dollars just be working in a call center for 90+ hours a week. Appreciate that she works and is dedicated however, "boss babe" was first red flag. Second flag is the whole getting on her program thing. Having a career in the military and getting screwed out of retirement killed the whole "career" thing for me. Twenty years for what? I'm wagering that she left the army ex because she did not like him being gone all the time. I lost two wives to the military because I was deployed or gone on training. It will be hard for her because of the "availability" thing. Just like women, no man wants to invest in someone that is not going to be around.

If a man wants to find a gold digger and be fine with it, then whatever. But 90 hours a week of work + 8 hours of sleep each day is only leaving 20~ hours, and a lot of that time is going to be eating, hygiene, getting ready, etc...
So at what point would there be time to be with a spouse at that point? And never mind kids, that would just be irresponsible.
Usually those people who spent a lot of their life working insane hours do so in order to not have to later on. If the discussion is that a person is in their phase of career where they may not need to spend anywhere near as much, then great; family time.
However, the context is that such a person is currently in that phase of extreme work and prep. Are you going to sit there telling me that spending virtually no time at all with your spouse is a good thing and will result in a lasting marriage?

I've worked for a few car dealers in my time in service and sales, NONE are open 7 days a week, and very few operate limited services like oil changes and tire rotations on saturdays (Reduced hours for some) No service advisor ever works more then a 9 hour day with an hour lunch. A Luxury car brand dealer is the most likely to not have anything other then sales operating on saturdays, less vehicles on the road, likely no fleet contracts to deal with etc.
If you can't find a man on your level your the problem, you won't accept him if he at least has a job and his shit together and isn't living at home in his parents basement. Job, Own place (apartments count), Reliable car (not rusty and well looked after and in good shape, age doesn't matter, good hygene and attire. Hell if he has a good credit score then he's responsible and good with his money as an added bonus...like. This is such garbage.

Yep literally just happened to me this week. She was texting me nonstop over Christmas weekend because I was out of town. I texted her I’m back let’s meet up sometime this week. And just like that like a light switch no longer responds so I didn’t send another text(double text). Two days and nothing after texting me over 100 messages over the preceding week.
