A really good, genuine review. The way you say at the end: "If you are a purist and just need a better bike to ride..." Well, that says everything for a rider. Riders dont care for gimmicky features. They want a reliable machine that won't drop them in unforeseen places.
Good review 😅 but i would say the design is fine but yes it doesn't appeal to people because of that stupid price tag . Instead of giving ride connect they should have given it dual channel ABS . I recently bought a used naked Gixxer 155 2017 SP edition model. And its lively than this BS6 phase 2 version could ever be. And it used to be a VFM product before the 2nd gen 2019 version came out . Since then it has been overpriced but yes it is still a better bike than FZ v3 and V4 which yamaha sells and Honda SP160 anyday. The split seat setup is actually more comfortable than Bajaj NS160 and Hero Xtreme 160r .
I'm planning to book it soon this month, i believe it's has better power delivery than the yamaha FZ and the Honda SP 160. And i think it's a par bike with the Honda Hornet if not better! My only little concern is the service and is the pillion seat comfortable fot the ladies? Could u share ur experience on these? Thanks in advance.
@@jackyphakondaimari5600 This is an underrated gem but unless the lady is a super model, everyone else complained of fatigue and lack of space in the rear seat. The FZ has a more spacious and comfy seat in my opinion!
Excellent review in English. I am living in the Philippines now and English reviews are hard to come by. The MT-15 is a better bike but costs 1/3 more, and no ABS. The V strom 250 is much nicer but also quite expensive. Cam
i have n160 and my brother has a gixxer, I can definitely say gixxer is a fun to ride machine but I'm not sure about the brake ,Whats your thoughts on abs on both? and Which one's brakes are better in your opinion?
Brakes are not bad but not as sharp as pulsar n160. But gixxer is more fun in city than N160 because of its handling. But i feel gixxer is outdated in terms of design. so pick wisely
Go for gixxer 155. it comes with connected features now and a better headlight. But mainly the engine is punchier and more responsive than the FZ. However both are very reliable engines.
Isnt this an all aluminium engine. The ideal comparison is between MT15 and Gixxer and not with FZ 150 i feel. Felt great to test ride but the cost was a bomb more. The FZ is nearly 40K cheaper, but if its all aluminium etc on the engine, can understand the price difference. FZ, i wud rather buy a splendor, too poor power and not as refined as would like
But in general Japs are in decline, the experience, adding features etc. Great engineering from the past glory days but now fading in many ways. Whereas the Indian lions TVS, Ather, Ola etc are on the rise, amazing smooth engines, transmission, eye popping features (Who makes glide to go in bikes - TVS!!!). There is no stopping Indian automakers now. In cars too the same case - Honda and Hyundai are taking a backseat, TATA, Mahindra
MT15 is far superior bike with respect to engine performance. The gixxer is also an underrated bike which is very easy to drive in the city. But it’s not the best VFM as it competes with N160, RTR160 which offer more value. But japanese reliability FTW 🐺
@@WolvesandWheels Yeah, im going purely by my comfort and feel. Have bought a car and some items based on specs and VFM and realise that the feel and my fit is the deciding factor. But will check why MT15 is superior. I personally did not like the lack of torque, had to strain it to get the power out. The Hornet 2.0. was a beast and delivred power smoothly on request.
Giving you options from what I have tested so far. Check if it helps. 1. Pulsar N160 2. Gixxer 155 3. Apache 160 4V If i was to pick one, I would get a used MT15 or R15 😉

Disliked purely for the dangerous riding. It's not about your skill, it's about others safety.
noted. Will duly take more responsibility in future videos. Thank you!
Disliked? I reported his video under: 'Harmful and dangerous act'.
Hope his channel gets banned.
Vanakum!
Between zixxer fi abs and fzsv3 which is comparatively better considering all aspects like headlight illumination, instrument console etc???

@@WolvesandWheels thank u very much ,I am thinking so

Good review bro

Hey squid, don't ride dangerously. Don't squeeze between close cars. It's bad for everyone involved.
Obd2?
yes E20 and OBD2 from 2023 models
He said unchanged for over a decade, so BS3.
Great at all format
One month user
enjoy 😊
