Michael Clark I’m looking at the Kawasaki Mule Pro FX EPS and the Ranger 1000 EPS. I like both and I know the Kawasaki is quality made. I’m concerned with Polaris long term reliability.
Travis Ricks- Yeah I struggled with the same decision and have friends with both units and they’ve had zero issues with them. I love the reliability of the mule but the Polaris offered more with the 2020 model and looks a lot better. Besides price point and sharp lines Polaris offers the lock n ride features which literally allows you to bolt on addl items. Finally the towing capacity, payload and ground clearance is best in class. Hope this helps.
Bought a brand new EPS 1000, and after 1 month started having starter issues. Long story..short, the dealer has had it 3 times for same issue. 1st 2 times for 2 weeks each. This last time, 4 weeks. Now they claim the motor is roached due to a waterpump issue. After arguing with the factory for 4 weeks they finally agreed to replace the motor.....as get this....."an act of good will". NOT AS A RESULT OF A FACTORY DEFECT BUT, AN ACT OF GOOD WILL. Get this, I have to pay for the labor to have a new motor installed. WORST COMPANY EVER. WOULD NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING
I have a 2020 ranger 1000 eps and so far I love it. I bought it strictly for hunting and it has been a great asset.
