You guys are so good at this. I'm absolutely hooked on your channel now, it's so informative but in a really easy relaxed way. I tuned in to watch 'another sailing channel' but this is so much more. Fantastic. Can I swap my tedious life in the UK for yours !!!!!!!! Keep up the great work 👍
I have watched a bunch of your videos but I must say these rock formations are the most beautiful. The two of you are real explorers and survivalist. I AM IMPRESSED
About the 3rd or 4th time watching these episodes, hope that's not too creepy but I see something new every time. There is such a wonderful "vibe" to them, almost spiritual. You guys should win awards for what you do. OK back to Tassie now!
Troy your and Pascale's Videos capture the joy of the outdoors better than anything else I have seen. Love the enthusiasm and knowledge you are passing on. and Thank you Thank you Thank you for not using "TH-cam music" on the videos. Best sailing channel by a long shot. have you considered Patreon? your videos have real value to them.
Thanks Richard. A few commenters are enjoying the music selection so we think we may have quite a bit in common with a lot of our audience- which is great! We are looking into Patreon now as quite a few people have asked us to set up an account. We will announce it later as it comes to life but we want to make sure that we can return peoples generosity with good value information and entertainment.
Outstanding! I am thoroughly enjoying this guided tour with the phenomenal sights and fantastic footage. The humor and banter between you two keeps things entertaining while bestowing knowledge. Thank you! I suppose the downside...and it's a big one...is that wonderful looking fresher than fresh food that I don't get to share. Oh well, you folks did the work, enjoy! Heh, heh, heh. .........................PEACE!!
A little hint about the finish of your lures. When you buy them new, just lightly scuff them up with steel wool or scotch bright . Then get some 2 part epoxy and give them a coat . The paint will last longer than untreated lures. You can do it with spoons as well. If you really want to get fancy add some fine sparkles to the epoxy when you mix it up. It will give them a custom finish . After you coat them hang them strait up by the front loop. Oh take the hooks off before you put on the epoxy. Your videos are absolutely beautiful and very interesting.Cheers from Ontario Canada.
I reckon that's a very good idea for our troll gear. They get hit very hard. When they get a hole in them, I drill them to get the water out and then cost them with epoxy. Just a small additional step to do what you recommend. Cheers mate
I subbed you folk a bit back and am just randomly catching up on old episodes. That Pascy almost dropping that fish and seeing her face. Absolutely priceless mate!
Thank you both for this spectacular virtual journey up to the Mitchell Falls ! Not many people get to explore such a place. Takes me back to many such places I was once fortunate to explore with my then travelling partner, ie Tassie coast and rivers!. CFS/ME has had me semi housebound for the past 14 years, but I hope to get out travelling (on land) once again in the hopefully not too distant future. (Found your channel recently, via other vlogs, (as I dream....) and have now found the beginnings of your series, and it is Great summer/wet weather veiwing alternative to mainstream tv offerings, as I crochet my winter series of beanies for Alice Springs Beaniefest), so Thank you, I still have heaps to watch
Beautifully shared master lessons about true aussie bushmencraftship, exploring seafaring and also remarkable inventive and skills about camera work. There is a say in spanish, telling that true happiness involves sharing. I can understand that this joy of exploring these amazing landscapes can be double by sharing it with us, the spectators around the world. You two are a brave couple with a lot to teach. I am also increasing interested about your on-board food and supply planning, as I see you have mastered the art of extending your cruise in remote areas by using local resources together with some long shelf live stuff such as grain to be milled on spot. Maybe in another chapter you can tell us more about your tricks to remain so selfsufficient. Best regards to both and fair winds "buenos vientos" Julio
Muchas gracias Julio. You are 100% right that sharing doubles the pleasure from the experience. Also, we're really pleased by the audience we have attracted- you all seem like people we would really get along well with. We are planning to do more 'how-to' videos based on requests such as yours, so we welcome any feedback. I have done a few ocean crossings and provisioning for 'going around the world' isn't that hard because you will see shops again every few weeks. We provisioned for six months and stuffed it into a 9 meter boat so we will try and put something together for you, just give us a little time and stay tuned!
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful journey. Such a diverse and scenic part of the globe. I love seeing the ancient artwork. Nice Bara Pascale!
I was so stoked to land such a stomping barra in the Mitchell this trip. I'd already had 2 barras shake themselves off the hook that day so you can see how nervous I was. Third time lucky :) Thanks for the love, Pas
You could corner the market in tips, fishing, cooking, both aboard and on the beach, general life hacks for making more from less. Absolutely love your channel guys. Keep it up! 😎
If I am ever lucky enough to visit the Kimberley region, I will be sure to bring your videos for a safety guide.....what a wonderful area. Those Barramudi are a great game fish and I'd love to hook some. Neat idea on anchoring a dingy in a large tidal range. Thanks again for an awesome video.....
Thank you Ed. We only fish for food so we stop at one Barra a day or two but that river was a Barramundi fishermans paradise. Before Pascale landed that fish, we had both hooked and lost two others in about half an hour of effort. Just fish the last hour of the run out tide and focus on small gutters and you will get onto some.
Excellent, caught a croc (accidentally) in a lagoon in Cape Vidal SA..20 mins of rolling around before I cut him loose....no fish that day!! ;-(. Also went fly fishing one night in a lake in the Eastern Transvaal for trout and got tipped by a hippo..never been that petrified before or since. The things we do for some tucker... Really enjoy your hard work and production of these episodes, very informative and the vistas rock. Fair winds..
Tipped by a Hippo! I'm really glad you are still with us to tell the tale. My impression is that those encounters usually end badly for everyone but the hippo.
I am always here and really love you two and your adventures. As. A long time sailor and general boaty I am surprised as the small size of your yacht. It seems to be the answer for you and it certainly would keep you close, love it happy times.
Getting slapped in the face by a fish...priceless!!! I laughed as hard as you guys! I just absolutely love your channel! The educational bits you put in the videos are just superb. Tip to try: for better selfie stick footage, try hanging the camera below the stick for more stability in your shots. The weight of the camera will provide a dampening effect to movements, similar to a stabilizer.
Hahahaha, safety in the Kimberlys, girlfriend goes first. Pretty funny. But remember, you will have 25,000 subscribers hunting you down if anything happens to Pascal, lol. I am having trouble coming up with original admiration for your videos, just read all the previous comments and yea, I agree. Love you guys.
I just watched this again and something struck me about them Bradshaws. Maybe that mob had a fascination about the long shadows you get in the morning and evening? That's what they remind me of. cheers.
Hahaha.. " your majesty " I love it only you forgot to capitalize Majesty haha. Well actually the name came from my German Sheppard dog. She was an amazing dog that I had for 15 years. Her name was Majestic and she looked majestic. Very regal indeed ^_^
Another amazing episode. Loved the double hookups at the end! What a beautiful country we live in. I’m a bit sad at all the poor Quolls that die in those holes, there must be thousands. I saw something similar in Kakadu where there was some water in the holes, so they had frogs and the occasional snake living there.
Oz really is amazing S.F.R. and we feel lucky to be able to share it with so many great people. Yeah, curiosity killed the native cat I'm afraid but the majority of holes were empty so take heart.
Olá! Estou toda a tarde apenas assistindo seus vídeos e suas belas aventuras através desses fantásticos lugares. Parabéns para este simpático casal. (Hello! I am all afternoon just watching your videos and your beautiful adventures through these fantastic places. Congratulations to this nice couple.)
Great video again, so well edited and great music. Be careful on the rocks as I have fallen on stuff like that before and got bruised up pretty badly. Pascale is a real waterdog, just jumps in and goes for it. Too many crocs around for me.
That's the GoPro rustic mount you've got there toward the end. I've used the rustic sport mount before. Bit shorter and thicker, but still floats and that. Better for body bashin with. But yeah, that's a nice slim line model you got there. I like it.
If i got to that river mouth the first thing i would do would be to steel pascals frying pan and started digging out that river features where their was round holes, first i would dig out the big rocks and then started gold panning, 1 small nugget and hay presto! you have just filled your fuel tanks for free. You know the best part? you both look like your having a ball of a time!!! Rock on!!! One small question... what are the bushy things hanging from the sidestays for? Just curious. You seem more afraid if Crocs than you do Sharks - what amazing places you get to see. Im declaring today naked Tuesday. Its not quite the same as you, in the sense of, I have neighbors. 😁😁
Hello Troy & Pascale, I've just finished watching all the episodes, thank you so much for taking us along. What a fascinating place to explore, you both have great skills. Can I ask what the situation with Ciguatera around Oz, certainly looks ok where you fish or is it just certain species you leave?
Thanks for joining us aboard. Ciguatera is not such a problem in West Australia as in Parts of Queensland and is usually associated with reef damaged by natural or human impacts (Big cyclones etc.) The main culprits are large residential coral reef predators with Pelagics being less affected so we target the smaller fish or troll lures in open water.
You two will never forget what you’ve experienced together.......that you’ve shared, together.
This episode was gold. Love how natural your videos are.
You guys are so good at this. I'm absolutely hooked on your channel now, it's so informative but in a really easy relaxed way. I tuned in to watch 'another sailing channel' but this is so much more. Fantastic. Can I swap my tedious life in the UK for yours !!!!!!!! Keep up the great work 👍
I cant believe 4 people don't like this video,....love your work
We have a little breathing space with that number of unsatisfied viewers. Thanks for joining us.
I have watched a bunch of your videos but I must say these rock formations are the most beautiful. The two of you are real explorers and survivalist. I AM IMPRESSED
The Mitchell was our favourite river and we were pretty excited to share it with you all so I'm glad you enjoyed it.
You both amaze me. I’m mesmerized watching your videos. To me, you’re the best thing on TH-cam. Keep it going. It’s absolutely genius. Thank you!
Consistently beautiful locations. And, new content in every episode - nice trick with the dingy, and love the bush smoker. Thank you guys.
We try and put something useful in each episode. Thanks for joining us.
not bad m8s, not bad at all! lost on the dingy for a while, then you talked about the tide. you an yours stay safe an well eh!
Just an amazing episode! As someone who has never been to Australia, this might be as close as I ever get to bush experience.
About the 3rd or 4th time watching these episodes, hope that's not too creepy but I see something new every time. There is such a wonderful "vibe" to them, almost spiritual. You guys should win awards for what you do. OK back to Tassie now!
Not at all! Thanks for the support and glad you are enjoying Oz through our eyes.

Richard Shipp no doubt Richard👍🍺🍺🇺🇸

I'm happy to see Pascal and cando more than fish, cook, eye candy, etc. Croc bait has to be tops. love your show. best regards
Pascale's talents are many and varied. Thanks for joining us and letting us know you liked it.
The Cave Paintings.... speechless.... A good marinade you might want to try is very easy but delicious. Soy, Lime Juice, Tabasco, touch of mustard.
Great music always and your dating adventures are priceless! Romance abounds in discoveries on Rugged Earth!

Best croc tester ever 😍
I subbed you folk a bit back and am just randomly catching up on old episodes. That Pascy almost dropping that fish and seeing her face. Absolutely priceless mate!
go on, it'll make really good footage... legendary
Wonderful to see the Mitchell plateau and surrounding water erosion. That was a cool under water shot by the falls. Thanks so much.
Thankyou again RJ
Jeezus. A place where you know you’re alive! Stunning country & adventure. Crazy crocs!
Awesome eprsode Troy & Pascale! Thanks for that

Man, you guys keep raising the bar with your vids and congrats Pascale with the barra........awesome stuff
Thanks David. That fish fought hard but we were happy the local crocs didn't come to the party.

That diglrado is really cool . Scary crocks.Love those swimming holes. Beautiful river. Thanks for another fantastic journey ,Cheers.
We are in Yolgnu aboriginal country right now which is home to the Didgeridoo. It still plays an important part in their lives. Thanks for joining us.
Thanks, very interesting adventurios. Like as I fished myself in billabong with crocs...
Good anchor trick. You are really good fishers. More fishing tips please.
Thanks Sapa- we'll get around to fishing for cruisers soon; doesn't look like the other sailing channels really cover it.
You could corner the market in tips, fishing, cooking, both aboard and on the beach, general life hacks for making more from less. Absolutely love your channel guys. Keep it up! 😎

Very true. It is a cuddly cabin.
Nice couple of jacks on the hook at the end, awesome vid guys (lived in Darwin for a long time and know what you are getting amongst :)
That double-double hookup was a first for me. Our time there was off the hook- I can't rate the Mitchell highly enough.
You guys are the best !!! Another great video. Love it.
Some proper adventuring guys! Well done!
This bloke is the best Australian ever. Better even than Mark Webber.
Holy crap, took a lot of guts to jump in that water. Love your videos 👍⚓️⛵️

Hahaha i was clapping when Pascale caught the barra then spat my coffee as it almost went over the side. Great stuff :)
Nice Barra, I'm so envious 👌
The kimberley......what a beautiful place to hang out....except for the crocks.
I just watched this again and something struck me about them Bradshaws. Maybe that mob had a fascination about the long shadows you get in the morning and evening? That's what they remind me of. cheers.
Great video! Thanks guys.
Really awesome video. What a great place and nice to follow along with your adventure.
Our pleasure your majesty.
Hahaha.. " your majesty " I love it only you forgot to capitalize Majesty haha. Well actually the name came from my German Sheppard dog. She was an amazing dog that I had for 15 years. Her name was Majestic and she looked majestic. Very regal indeed ^_^

Keep on ⛵ peace and love and safe sailing
Another great video. Thanks teacher.
Our pleasure. Thanks.
Really enjoying your videos guys!
Thanks, feel free to contribute any tips that might keep us alive out here.

Cheers Geoff- we will!
I think you guys are so brave all those crocs
It took more bravery on Pascale's part- she doesn't like them as much as I do.
crazy ozzys haha wicked vid thanks
No worries mate! Check out the mudcrab hunting episode- more antics and crocs in that one too.
yeah, wicked vid
best ever video bro love u allll keep it up
Great vid guys
Catching you good fellows 3 years later - but excellent stuff. From a Pom - not wingeing.
Man, those crocs mate.
Fantastic land!
If i got to that river mouth the first thing i would do would be to steel pascals frying pan and started digging out that river features where their was round holes, first i would dig out the big rocks and then started gold panning, 1 small nugget and hay presto! you have just filled your fuel tanks for free. Im sure there would be a couple big pickers in them small cracks up & down that falls,
Geez, it never occurred to me to sniff around for some gold. We don't have space for a detector on our wee boat but what you say has some merit. There are rivers in Nth Queensland that run through gold bearing country and have freshwater upper reaches. I'll poke around in a few if the crocs let me and praise you heartily if I get a strike.
Yes Shaun- your sure to be right. You got to move a lot of rock and a few dead cats but some well rounded nuggets will be at the bottom of those sink holes.
This episode is a classic - guaranteed to launch a serious guiding career on the west coast ( assuming you are up for it )
Thanks Iain. I have done some remote area as well as underwater guiding but now we have been bitten by the exploration bug and have a loooonngg list of the worlds remote places we want to go experience and hopefully, in our way, take you along with us. Sadly, we can't have guests on such a small boat but that may change in the future.
That baramundi on the plate was makin' my mouth water. What were you eating with that looked kinda like lentils.
in america a popular saltwater fishing lure for trolling is a ''stretch 25'' made by the Manns lure company...have you ever heard of them or used them or used them?
Fabulous 👍
Magnificent
love your video's Good on you
First class. what kind of mong would thumb this down? Geez there's some bloody derros around! thanks for the vid.
You should be being paid by WA tourism guys!! Big respect for the filming quality and a special aknowledgement for your boat and bush craft. You know the best part? you both look like your having a ball of a time!!! Rock on!!!
One small question... what are the bushy things hanging from the sidestays for? Just curious. Hey Pascale thumbs up for the recipes... could almost smell the Barra cooking on the rocks!!
Be good guys.
Leon.
I think the bushy things are chaff protection for the sails.
Leon, sounds like we need you as our manager. As john points out, they are chafe protection for the main sail and are called Baggywrinkle. It's a very traditional use for old damaged rope.
Now this is living
@16:00 Safety First,, girlfriend goes first!
You seem more afraid if Crocs than you do Sharks - what amazing places you get to see. Im declaring today naked Tuesday. Its not quite the same as you, in the sense of, I have neighbors. 😁😁
You know, more than likely, the only other Humans who have ever been there are Aboriginals... You guys are great adventurers..
Hello Troy & Pascale, I've just finished watching all the episodes, thank you so much for taking us along. What a fascinating place to explore, you both have great skills. Can I ask what the situation with Ciguatera around Oz, certainly looks ok where you fish or is it just certain species you leave?
