    I'm 40 yrs old....but during childhood.. I liked staying up late bc I thought it was "cool"..
    Continued this through school... made good grades, so it wasn't affecting me then. But it snowballed into 2 decades of Absolutely No regular circadian rhythm, whatsoever. Hard to Go to sleep, took hours, hard to stay asleep. Never more than 2hrs asleep at a time. Then.... on the other hand... in the last 7, 8 years, Still staying up super late maybe fall asleep at 3 or 4am and won't wake up until 3 or 4(pm), if nobody wakes me up.
    UNTIL 3 NIGHTS AGO when I Found THIS!!!!!!! Now I'm getting Perfect rest, THANK YOU from the Bottom of my Heart. God Bless You..!!!

      I'm 40 as well and have found my previous schedule didn't help me in old age either. He's a bit heavy on the dialogue but the information is solid. When you listen to podcasts or youtube videos try listening to Dr Huberman's opening series on Sleep and the Brain. He'll give you an assortment of external (environmental) shifts you can do to stabilize you circadian rythym. Between him and this podcast for the past 8 months I've gotten 8-8.5 wake up at 4.5 with no alarm clock fully refreshed.
      You can search him on youtube, but I suggest his initial podcast episode 1-6 is all about sleep.
      Cheers

    Been using these for a year and first time wanted to comment. I have narcolepsy and have used these (specifically 20-30 minute) videos for naps during the day. They’ve significantly improved my quality of life and get me to chill out in time to get a nap recharge. Thank you for your work on these!

    If you wana experience instant effect of this beat (with in 5 minutes) then force yourself to wake at 5 am (at least for 4-7 days). Immediately leave your bed and go to your washroom to rinse your eyes and face with cold water (for instant freshness). I live in district Solan (hill station), Himachal Pradesh, India, therefore water temperature here is below 10c° these days. Drink half a liter of luke warm water (can increase quantity as suitable) to neutralize your stomach acid (you can add green tea with honey, if possible) and start your day. Take a shower before cooking or at least eating. Eat your food between 8 am to 6 pm (try to make it your compulsion/rule). Put your phone at DND at 8.30pm. Start this beat at 9. Make sure you don't use your phone after 8.30pm. Switch off your room lights, specially bright blue lights (LEDs) and see for yourself, you will start yawning with in 5 minutes after listening to this beat. I had chronic insomnia (5 years) and used to sleep by 2-4am, upto 7-8am. After a month of practicing this routine, I started to sleep by 9-11pm. In addition, I am loosing my fat, stress, and others mental and physical problems. Most importantly, now i am gaining true peace and happiness. Professionally, I am a Pharmacologist and doing Ph.D. in circadian rhythms (specifically sleep/wake cycle). Believe me, disturbed sleep can leads to Alzheimer's (dementia), depression, obesity, stress, anxiety, peace lessness, disturbed concentration, etc. One more tip, human body needs music (sound waves) according to the time of the day, e.g., at noon you can listen to energetic music to stay active. You can try to search 'indian classical ragas based on day times' on TH-cam. Stay happy stay healthy.

    Jody!! Man, I’ve been following your beats for a few years now and I have to say that this one is my favorite (specifically the .50-.80 Hz range).
    I’m not sure what it is, but that low rumble causes every muscle in my body to instantly relax. But once the Hzs start ramping back up, so does the tension.
    Do you already have an ultra-low Hz beat that you can direct me to, and if not, what would think about creating one?

    after 4 minutes I went into sleep paralysis, I felt the entire process. How is that even possible?

    • @bestbinauralbeats
      @bestbinauralbeats  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sleep paralysis happens every time you go into REM (dreaming) sleep. It's an important feature -- otherwise you'd be kicking and flailing every time you dreamt about running. Thankfully, it's very rare to be dreaming AND awake at the same time... it's a weird experience for sure!

    • @anothrbrickinthewall
      @anothrbrickinthewall ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those dreams are very frightening. I haven't had these tracks do that to me but I've had them. I call what you had "a dream within a dream". So you're awake on your first dream but you're still asleep in the second dream. I've woken scared to death in my 1st dream. because I realize I'm totally paralyzed and can't make myself move or scream. The second dream me is fighting the first dream me that's trying to force the 2nd dream to fight & scream.
      Then *finally* waking out of both dreams with a very sore throat & once with the venetian blinds tangled around my upper body. Had laryngitis from growling under my breath trying to scream. It felt like forever!
      The only thing I have noticed is its much more likely when I have insomnia because I think I end up taking too much melatonin. Maybe something like that is helping to cause this for you? Melatonin helps sleep but like everythingtoo much is too much!. Since Jody said its REM sleep it starts to make sense. Maybe your not sleeping great & under stressors. Jody's recordings allow you to finally deeply relax. Since your body is really digging getting some sleep but part of you says "wake up dammit" and the other part flips the finger " No! I'm staying unconscious a while longer" Stubborn 2nd you!

Stick to regular sleep times if you can, if not just make sure to exercise and drink lots of water each day. Do binaural beats work with noise cancelling headphones, since the noise cancelling effect is produced through frequencies?

    • @driiikmmfy

      Noise cancelling headphones use active noise cancelling (ANC) to block out external low frequency noise.
      It is important to note that it is external sound the headphones combat, not internal sound (the music going to your ears), noise cancelling headphones can enhance your binaural beats listening experience.
