- Peebs unboxes, builds, and plays with the new HUGE Lego Bowser in the Lego Mario Nintendo lego series. (Also called Lego The Mighty Bowser.) This thing is pretty insane, and it better be with how expensive it is. We've done Lego Mario, Lego Luigi, Lego Peach... All of them combined took less time to build than the Bowser Lego. It took me about a week to make. :')

Those pieces you put under the plates that you covered up is for structure so it doesnt bend over time from the weight of the bowser
They’re evenly placed so that they provide stability no matter where on the platform you place him :)
I was listening to him complain about that and it made me think of walls to a house. “Why’d I put all these 2X4’s in just to cover ‘em up?! Waste of time!”

I’d buy this in a HEARTBEAT but ouch that price tag… Considering how detailed he is and how interact-able he is though, totally worth saving up for in my opinion.

Personally the scale with other Mario sets doesn’t work for me. If it was Giga Bowser I’d be all over it though.
I got a sealed official version from stockx for only 178. Basically some dumb guy that bought like a few hundred bowsers is selling for cheap cause he initially thought he could boost the price past 300 but nobody was buying.
Do it ! I had so much fun building it. I haven’t owned / built a Lego set since in was 6 and it brought so many good memories

This is already such a clean looking set, and the fact that it's actually an articulated puppet makes it so much cooler. (And explains the price tag.) They managed to capture Bowser's movements and expressions so well in lego form, even the way his legs move when he jumps and lands feel true to the games.

dude this thing is absolutely SICK. i've always had a soft spot for puppets and the like, so this thing was really cool to see in action once you got it built. I cant wait to see what other videos you've got coming, they're always a treat :)

I just love the way Peebs is playing with these toys.
Kinda reminds me of my childhood.
I am stunned he actually built it. When I did it, I had to take apart his whole chest because I screwed up his jaw mechanism, and the set was missing pieces. It took about 12 hours in two sessions.
I got this set and it was great putting it together.
I now call it The Mighty Jack Black ;)
My kid wants this for Christmas, and when I told him I couldn't afford it, he said, "Well, I'll just ask Santa for it then!" Think I'm gonna have to ruin his childhood...😭
Look up on the internet there is a super sweet script to break it to them.
Perhaps you could get him a different Bowser themed playset and say Santa got a little confused, he is very old after all and there's lots of toys to keep track of! If he's still rather young then he'll probably forgive Santa and enjoy what he does get.

@@JoakimOtamaa Don't be such a spoiled sport. Santa's ingrained in marketing across the world, every kid knows who he is. So why not give them a few years believing magic is real? It's fun for the adults too! My gran used to absolutely love saying Santa had dropped off extra presents at her place and we never questioned it because we were way too excited. XD
the price tag of 269 is outrageous but i bought a official sealed lego bowser from stock max for 178 (stockx is the lowest after market price site for legos).

Peebs you should build the lego NES with its crt tv. I did and it looks great
Not to be that guy but at 8:52 on of the curved one by one tiles on the leftside needs to be rotated a quarter turn anticlockwise.
But a more serious note really cool to see you build this set it's one of my favourite sets I've build in recent years not just because it's bowser but also because of how clean it all looks when put together and how impressive the movement is.

I feel you. Reading instruction manuals was one of the biggest pleasures of purchasing games. I loved to read these on the way back home (the closest game store was like 40 minutes car drive from home), or during the afternoon before starting to play by night.
Anyway, that Bowser is so amazing!
The whole Lego Mario set is pretty cool, but they have really outdone themselves with this Bowser figure. It's so well done and it's impressive how articulated it is. No wonder it takes forever to build, but the result is worth it I'd say

HELL YEAH! I was waiting for this video to come out. This thing impressed me from the moment I first saw it. It feels like a fan made mock up, but it's actually a full-fledged official set. Bowser looks so frigging cool and incredibly accurate too. I already plan on buying the set and tackling this koopa king-sized build myself in the near future. It's gonna be so awesome. It's gonna be so cool. But for now, this video will have to do.

I can't even begin to imagine how complicated it must have been to put this together, not to mention how long it must have taken, with my tiny brain i wouldn't be able to do something like this in my entire lifetime. The fact that Peebs did this just for a video is some of the greatest fan dedication i've ever seen, he seriously deserves an award for this.

I just finished this today, and did I have a blast with it! It's an awesome build, right up there with the Globe and the Typewriter. Putting the base together was a bit tedious, especially having to place those dark gray tiles just so, but seeing Bowser slowly come together was so satisfying.
I've got to get my hands on this Lego Bowser. The opening 30 seconds of this video really sold it to me.
