but usually i make her into like 2000s scenecore so she matches yet stands out from the rest of her family.

the nursery is super on point as any time i become friends with bella in my saves, she always keeps having children and almost always stays an adult through out my entire gameplay because she's constantly pregnant. even after mortimer dies 😭
She always ends up remarried at least twice in my games. She gives me more of a marrying to keep her status type of character.
just because of that i "castrated" her in CAS (tuned off can become pregnant). The woman filled the entire sims with babies!
In my current game, she keep adopting kids or pets. She adopted a dog and child recently can keeps calling my current household to see if she should adopt more. 🤣
EA not asking you to build their lots for them is appalling to me. Absolutely perfect every build you touch. My favorite builder hands down.
He did lots for cottage life 😊

EA doesnt have a good rep with games nor running the company well. Just a bunch of suits that want to squeeze every last drop from it.
Great reno, I think your proportions are much more Victorian. The Vampire trim really adds the right detail, and the Victorians were all about detail. Wallpapers are wonderful, but would drive me nuts IRL.
The casual "absolutely go to hell" @11:10 had me ugly laughing, it just really sums up the experience of using build mode 😂
I’ve always been bothered by the Goth house not having a graveyard-they don’t even really have the room for it!-but I think adding a basement mausoleum would be really cool.
This brought me back to your Willow Creek re-build and the gorgeous modern house you gave the Goths! Love what you do with these base game re-builds! 🖤

i think she has potential for a really cool and unique wacky, witchy build tbh and i don’t think i’ve ever seen a build for her on here.
with the odd skin and pink hair/eyes + her being the Sage of Mischief, i always saw her as some kind of fey. i’m not even sure the vibe she’d go for - medieval? victorian/steampunk? cottage? a combination?
Steampunk cottage? A contrast between natural and mechanical? Love that idea! Could be just her sense of humour!

She's my fav from the realm of magic! Would love to see a build for her! ❤ In my current game Mortimer drowned, I re-married Bella but she now has a fling with L.Faba so it's all great 😂 also Faba moved in to Sulani and adopted a dog 🐕
She definitely stands out as an interesting character. The three NPC instructors are so different from each other, it's incredible.
This is the first Goth Manor redo I've actually liked :)
I laugh out loud when Aden fusses at the game: "absolutely go to hell" got me this time.

I love that teddy bat, it's the only one of the giant teddies that doesn't have a reflection in mirrors and I'm here for that little detail 😂
The only thing I would add is a violin in Cassandra's room because I think she has that skill (although that might just be in my game 😅)
For me she has the skill but hates playing and the violins keep disappearing. No matter how many new games I start, unless I edit her likes and dislikes she plays the violin, gets upset about playing the violin, and a few game days later I can't find the violin 😅
Considering the very limited array of objects you chose to use, this build is fantastic! I'm absolutely convinced that you could've detailed it even more using more packs, but I enjoy the low-detail approach using fewer packs! You also improved the exterior so much without changing the basic shape too much, something I couldn't do when I renovated this. This just shows that it all comes down to scale, spacing, and balance, both on the exterior and the interior. Very nice!
Love what you did with the old girl. Really beautiful renovation. It has a much more elegant shape and roofline. I think Cassandra's room is my favorite. Not my taste either, but that's the great thing about the Sims. We can explore all different designs and lifestyles risk-free. Thanks for a great escape.
This is the Goth house we deserve! I have to put this in my game, it looks great! I also use the modern version you've done for the savefile sometimes I even modify it for my other sims.

This is such a wonderful transformation! You definitely kept the original vibe, but now it looks so, so much better. It's impressive. I can't wait to see what you do with other EA builds!

Lovely renovation! When I redid the Goth house in my game I went very glam goth and used a lot of black marble and those amazingly garish curtains from get famous in one of the red swatches. It’s always fun to Reno this house because you can take it in a few different directions.
Best Goth renovation I’ve ever seen, Aden. 🙌🏼 I’m surprised with all the restrictions EA has that it was smaller already. I can’t wait to download this and give the Goth’s my own makeover.

So I’m getting my Sims fix today by watching your build since I’m not going into game for a few days since I know patch day is chaos and I get a text from my best friend who now lives across the country from me and she legit says “I’m watching DevonBumpkin’s Goth’s build cuz I can’t play and I need this house in my game so bad!” And my response was “OMG I’M WATCHING TOO!” We’re both loving this and eager to get back into game! 😂😂😂 Great job as always!

I miss watching your content so so much! I don't know why I stopped watching it for so long...Maybe I needed a bit of a detox from the Simd 4 content after experiening crazy FOMO from all the expansions and kits that I don't yet own (I used to buy every single new pack, but in this economy? SHEESH lol) but I'm so glad to be back watching your videos. The Goth family home definitely needed a makeover and I think you added the perfect bit of flair and the necessary reductions needed to keep it the same, yet give a new refined air to it. Definitely a must-have for any save. ✨❤️

this is a great renovation! i love the layout of the house, it flows so much better imo. i already had a legacy family i was going to play the new infants update with, but now i'm considering playing the goths instead with this build🤭
