You and Matt over on Diesel Creek seem to have machine luck as everything you both trip over works with a little tinkering. Just put a big rock in the tractor bucket to balance it out and go mulching.

The ONLY machine I own is a grey import tractor with around 30HP that is probably the best tool I have and YOU "find" a 75hp Case in the barn that hasn't been run in two years.. Way to rub it in my friend!.. Of course I'm retired and live on 5 1/2 acres, but gee my Wife won't even let me buy a backhoe attachment for it..:)

DP = definitely panicking. I’d be putting on my running shoes but the wife will probably run faster. They tend to be adrenaline focused on revenge when they find out hubby did not seek permission. Keep quiet 🤫 but keep looking over your shoulder DP.

I found out the hard way, the welding sparks and molten bb's just bounce off office chair fabric and roll, plus your legs form a funnel that directs those hot sparks and molten bb's directly into a very sensitive spot. I still used the chair but I would sit as far forward as possible so the sensitive area was not vulnerable.
Rubber tires and brush do not mix well but it was a price driven decision on the Fecon, finding a used head for the Kubota would have increased the cost. A FTX128L used $155,000 if you could keep it busy on utility and pipelines would be great.
if you have an old axle or even a bucket offa the excavators put it in the bucket of the tractor shes a tilter lookin to happen juuuust right angle an shes gona chew dirt an rocks leaning on the three point hitch so just for safe sake add a bit of weight to the front
MBTS makes every video he appears in funny and entertaining and is one of the only talented people appearing in any of your videos. Operating equipment is nothing compared to a skilled welder

It only takes a second DP. I'm not trying to bash you guys but here's the deal. Your dad and granddad died as the result of accidents as did my dad. I just don't want to see something happen to you guys. You are betting your life on a maxed out hoist and 2 chains that are none to big for the load.
Man Behind the Scenes being a union contractor knows better than to work under a hanging load unless he sleeps through his safety meetings and leaves everything to his fitter.
Enough of the lecture from me. I'm just glad you got it fixed and your kids, unlike us, get to grow up with our dads around. ❤️

I think you will find the HP that you are referring to will be PTO hp, and not final drive HP.

Higher dollar machines have quick attach/detach. This one will take extra hands & patience. Find grease points before closing the doors. That U joint will need the grease.

75 hp vs 85... you'll have to move slower while mulching.
Put 400 lb of something in the bucket so the tractor sits more evenly on front and rear tires with that beast attached.
you can always use it to clear space for a dog house. having a comfy dog house can come in handy when purchases get ahead of income.

Bubba dump will be around alot longer than Chris's volvos will be because he has his dad you Mike working on him so he can get back to what he does best while Chris is crying for the dealer and having strokes over his equipment breaking down and it will be sitting around for two months while he's waiting for the dealer to get his equipment fixed while you and bubba dump and the soon to be Hyundai are out kicking ass and taking numbers Chris needs to stop his wineing and grow a set and go back to working on his own equipment rather than relie on the dealer and the customer having to pay the price before bubba dump is going to out last his two haultrucks

You need 85 PTO HP Not 75 Engine hp. You need to look at Demoing a Case Farmall C 100, New Holand T5 C 100, Or a John Deere 5100 E M or R model tractors. These will give you your base 85 PTO hp.
And prefferably with a front 3pt and PTO :-)

Man! I learned my lesson about impulse buying behind my wife’s back.
Before cell phones... I was really bad about grabbing a snack at checkout, seeing a good deal at a yard sale or buying an extra one ‘just in case’. It was easy... just write a check!
The truth was... As a result of my proclivity to waste money... we had a couple of checks bounce... the embarrassment of having to pick them up, in person, at stores in our small town was a sobering experience.
We reasoned, you can’t pay for it if you don’t have the money. And, if you can’t pay for it... you won’t buy it!
So, two things happened...
1. I started direct deposit of my paychecks. That robbed me of the extra walking cash at the drive up window on paydays. Instead, I was given a weekly allowance.
2. I quit carrying a checkbook. There was no such thing as a Debit Card. We couldn’t qualify for a credit card. Instead I was handed a single check when I was going to make a specific purchase.
Did it work? Like a charm... to this day I get an allowance. Even though I am allowed a debit card... I have to get a receipt and lay it in a designated place for every purchase....
As a result, we’ve made it 47years as a married couple... and the one with the Business Degree, ain’t the one managing the bank account or handing out the allowance!!!
Mikey... there’s no real lesson here... just a recounting of how I learned to reconcile... Happy wife = happy life!
Use the excavator to straighten the mulching door. Or buy a hydraulic press.. and something really nice for your wife ;)

That slop in the shafts are the U-joints wearing out, not trying to be a jerk but you should replace them with your press and replace the belts before they break on a job
