This was a great video, Gemma. thank you. Seeing those hardback Turtles books takes me back. I had those growing up. Glad you picked them up and gave them a good home. Keep up the great work.

It was a pleasure to meet you on Saturday Gemma 😃 Thanks for making another great video. It's great to see the games market again from your angle. I had to leave at one point because it was just insanely packed with people. 👥👥👥👥
@@TheGebs24 I was basically on a PS1 kick so my pickups were 14 games on PS1, including nice copies of Jumping Flash and Ape Escape. Then found a much needed embroidered PS1 bag for £10 (hanging out behind when you hold up Disney Sports Football). Also grabbed a minty Mega Drive controller for a fiver to complete the Mega Drive 2 I found at Twin Oakes.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised to see so many using the “really useful box” brand given its point of origin. Big fan here in Canada too! Perfect for game cases.
Been to the Donny market for several years on the trot, turned up to the last one at 11:30 and was told oh no tickets on the door, but you might be able to get in a 2:30pm..disgusting. Drove all the way there only to drive home, all because the organisers are greedy, doubling the ticket prices and prioritising online sales.
fun times with ole' TheGebs24!!! i always love when you go to these game market's hunting!! uber glad to see that you finally got that game Pain in your collection now!! awesome happening's for a awesome gal like your self!! love the show! take care and stay safe!!!
It was funny as i was talking to my son watching your video saying i missed old days of n64 mags etc .he was say about playstion mag not same .then you picked some up .great video .looks like you had alot fun
Wish I could have made it to this one gutted, some of the games you scanned over are on my list. Some good stuff. Didn't seem to overcrowded on video don't know if this was case. Great vid looking forward to more.
I went on exactly the same journey about 5-6 years ago. I was on the hunt for big box Wipeout at the Doncaster Gaming Market! I had the first 10 PAL released ps1 games, but my wipeout was platinum. I was only going to upgrade to the big box version. But unfortunately i did not find it at the market. I also found Pain on the PS3 last year at a carboot for £2. However, i had to leave it behind as the cover was all damp! Shame.
Never knew they had markets like this in the UK, been gaming all my life but never collected games. Really fond of big box pc games and want to start getting a collection together once the money situation gets better. How often do they hold these markets and where else in the country has something similar?
Right to Mortal Kombat Trilogy at 18:46 is Driver 2, back in the old days I used to play Driver 1 and to this day I haven't played Driver 2, really tells how many PS1 games is out there, if I remember right, over 4000. Tonight I might play Final Fantasy 8, continue where I left, PS1 memory cards rules, you don't need to start from beginning.
Awesome! Always interested in what the Super Famicom stands are saying, Barts nightmare Is quiite expensive, wonder how much they were selling it for? Look forward to Thursday's follow up 🤙

Tbh one of the sellers said it was not as busy as they thought it would be when i went later. Seemed busy but anything seems busy to me when its more than a handful of people haha
I remember when Sainsbury's used to sell loads of PS3 & 360 games dirt cheap. They were selling PAIN for £4.99. You just never know back then what will become valuable. Really wishing I picked up a copy now...
You and Jess picked up some great stuff there! Wished i was able to go :( Hopefully something similar will appear in or around Norwich sometime. Great to see you finally got Pain! Never played it myself though. Theres also a Crash Dummies game on the Amiga as well. It's a port of the megadrive one 😉 And finally, the instructions for the Turtles coin-op game on the speccy has a poster of the cover art on the reverse 😉 I have both Turtles games on the Speccy, but sadly the coin-op one doesnt load. Thats the problem with some 30+ year old tapes!
@TheGebs24 I haven't played it myself, but I hear its not that good. The only crash dummies game I've sunk any time into was the Gameboy/Game Gear/Master System game. That was pretty fun! Loved the crash dummies toys as a kid!
