I can't thank you enough. I am from a different country, different culture, but when I first saw your video I just felt you were the one friend I had been looking for ever since I became mumma. these videos always make me so happy as jess you are such a positive person and right now i really need a positive person around, my friend lucky is usually my cheerful friend but she has been very withdrawn since we found out we are pregnant, i know its cause she has been trying but due to a diagnosis it is going to be very hard for her to be pregnant, when me and another friend found out we were pregnant(2weeks apart) it was very hard to tell her because we are a tight knit group, she started crying and told us she had a miscarriage on the day she found out she was pregnant, since then it has been hard to be excited about baby stuff as i don't want to make her sad and i don't know what to do so thank you for being you and being so positive it makes me feel better!

Haha it’s totally possible! The baby moves SO much these days. I actually told my family recently that I’m nervous I won’t have the energy to keep up with her once she arrives because she moves so much already! 😂

Currently 37 weeks pregnant & my husband and I found out the gender first & choose to do a "reveal" to our family. We already have 2 boys 12 yr old I birthed & 15 yr old bonus son so I really wanted a girl. Obviously we would have been fine with regardless but I was afraid of gender disappointment. Mostly of feeling that disappointment in front of everyone so we didn't.
My parents worried about this and used gender neutral names for my sister and me. My husband also has a gender neutral name lol. I don't know how my husband and I will handle this with our kids. Same tradition I guess?
I'm a man who was brought up by a tribe of women and your words regarding the gender disappointment were really good. I really don't mind if I have a boy or a woman (due for May 2021) but of course I have my doubts about being a good dad after having been with so many women all my life. I don't like football or typical men things (though I am a black belt in Kung Fu), and it's not that I don't want a boy, it's just that I am sure I could raise a really strong and independent woman, but I am unsure if I could do the same with a man. Don't take me wrong, I am not saying "men have to be XXXX", but of course, I want to raise a self-confident man if that's the case. I don't think it has to be so different than with a girl and that I will learn on the go, so probably it's not so important, but it's something I've been concerned about. Thanks for your reassuring words. I hope I do good whatever I have and that my kids are healthy and happy in life.
